I’m sorry to say all this but I tapped out of the “8 Lessons” episode due to the host’s overall tone which wavers from catty, to condescending towards the co-host, to unenthusiastic about their own questions they ask. All of which does little to drive the conversation towards any further insight and makes it feel like we’re bothering the host being here. The audio quality was there and I imagine the host takes nice photos, but due to this experience I won’t pursue looking into them any further.

This is a great podcast on landscape photography as well as insight to some of my favorite photographers daily lives, what inspires their art what projects they may be working on etc. I recommend it to anyone who is involved with photography. David asks some great questions pulling out some very interesting conversation material. Thanks David.

David has guests who beautifully express their love for the landscapes they photograph and why they it’s important to them to educate and entertain the viewers. The interviews cut right to meaningful content and it feels David is allowing his guests to speak directly to us. This podcast has quickly become one of my favorites! Enjoy!

I’ve really been enjoying this podcast lately, as I am currently in the midst of starting my own photography business on the side. Sharing your personal stories of success and struggles has really helped me believe in myself. Really enjoyed episode 35. Keep up the good work!

David’s laid back style invites the listener into the conversation. His approach, allowing his guests to guide him rather than guide them helps to facilitate the photography with friends atmosphere. I find this podcast to be full of helpful and inspiring ideas. Great work David!

I have had the opportunity to listen to three of David’s podcasts so far (David Kingham, Sarah Marino and Patricia Davidson). I have followed each of these great photographers on social media since first developing an interest in outdoors photography three years ago. David’s style and selection of questions works very well and the guests were very engaged in the discussions. I really enjoyed hearing about their experiences and what factors have helped with their success. I also liked the common theme regarding the importance of preserving our nature and environment. I have been a paid subscriber to NPN for about a year and really appreciate what David and other contributors have brought to the Nature First movement. I am looking forward to listening to David’s podcasts going forward.

David’s YouTube videos have helped me take my photography to the next level! I’m excited to dive into this podcast to learn more.

Great podcast with very good information. The episode with Mark Denney put the 2 Landscape Photographers that have been a great inspiration to me together on the same podcast.

David is a awesome, honest and great landscape photographer and has even been a inspiration to me to get out and shoot landscape photos. I use to worry solely on having the best and newest gear BUT David uses very basic gear and produces AMAZING results. I learned from him that it’s about the experience and getting out there and just making photos. Give this podcast a listen and sit back and learn and enjoy it, hopefully you gain from it and him like I have.

What some exciting information and ideas David shares with guest speakers on aspects of Landscape photography! I first learned of David thru his YouTube videos when I was planning my Smoky Mountains photo trip this past year! Great ideas and instructional tips were greatly appreciated! These podcasts continue this source of wealthy information. Wow.. you must listen to these AND subscribe!

Really enjoyed the interview with Sarah Marino. Great questions that allowed for a deeper discussion without one person talking over the other as seems to happen so often in podcasts. David does a very professional job interviewing, but also engaging in conversation in a very casual way. I’m looking forward to listening to the other episodes!
