tburgeEntertainment is fun again! If you’re sick of contrarian, negative takes on comic book movies before they even release, this might be the pod for you. These guys actually like their toys AND have a critical eye/voice. Great community online, excellent subscription bonuses, & people I’m genuinely happy to support.

stillnosoundKyle & Robby’s Friendly For All TimesI listened to the show because a friend was being interviewed…that’s all it took to be sucked into the community here. Sometimes Kyle or Robby will say something that will drive me mad (as any good podcast should…that’s friend I mentioned…I have definitely been seen yelling in my car at her…when she can’t here me…because it’s just a podcast and I am a fool). However, most of the time it is a joy, hearing to friends banter about things they love and you love. And then you can join the community and continue the conversation respectfully (not everyone sticks the landing on this…despite their intentions). And the content aspect is either very informed or asks excellent questions. It is Marvel, Superhero, Film, Comics (they interview pros…like my friend) centric…but there is constant expansion beyond this niche. The community shapes what the content organically, while Kyle and Robby still maintain it as their thing in balance. They are friends from work. We are all friends from work. It’s not a new age California cult…I promise…though I am sure we have a few of those members in our community. You just get sucked in. -A Basic Friendly Neighborhood Californian

ShadyTombGreedThe pod went downhill when they started the FFW+ nonsense. They want you to pay a monthly subscription fee that is half the price of Disney plus to listen to their generic takes. They also hid previously free podcasts behind a paywall. That would be fine if they didn’t also include ads and paid partnerships all the time. This used to be a cool passion project and it has clearly turned into a side hustle for them. Disappointed because this used to be my favorite MCU pod but now is towards the bottom of the barrel.

MrIGotItOverthinking a little…For the first time I think you all are overthinking Episode 4 of Agatha… with the song it makes sense saying that her fans were the coven. The “witches road” is supposed to give you what you want the most. Her mother wanted her safety and being unable to go to the actual road, she made it into a protection spell that became a hit song and traveled the world knowing that the song would live on forever being played somewhere in the world making sure her daughter was safe. Using the fans as the coven it would always keep her safe. So the thought of her being upset at her mother because she thought getting to the road was her goal was a great way to flip it. I think we have to not be so literally with the words being spoken understanding the meaning is never as simple as what is said. Love the show!

JesselionsGreat podcast!Whether you’re a casual or passionate MCU fan this podcast is for you. I’ve been re-watching phases 1-3 with the podcasts to follow the movies... This has been such a FUN time getting to hear other passionate fans break down and talk about their emotion after each viewing. I look forward to hearing more in the future..I can do this all day. -Jesse⚡️ #T2DW

reviewer1675243New Rule Alert! Only Positive Talk! You guys starting a cult? No free thinking allowed here! You must only praise Marvel and the great FfW leaders! Criticism will be censored and the perpetrators punished and banned! You guys must be fun at parties. Blind devotion and fanaticism has taken new heights with these delusional bums.

Disneygirl_24Perfect for a person who has no friends who care about MarvelThis podcast is wonderful! Not only is it great for someone like me who LOVES Marvel but it’s great for anyone who dose not have any friends who care. I can go on and on about all marvel projects and no one I know cares. This show filled that void. Also thank you for being positive and not haters. Even for the projects that don’t work for you you don’t go on and on about what you hate about it and spiral into a hate Marvel and women campaign. So thank you! ❤️That kind of grifter energy is getting so old. Keep up the good work.

Lt BongoDig the show .. let’s talk X-men ‘97 Episode 5..The excitement for this episode that you two had was exactly where I was. Solid takes on the whole review. “Remember it” WAS insane .. I’m with you 100% Love your show, huge MCU fan , this always plays on my road trips and my regular listening rotation when I can. I appreciate the honest takes on all things Marvel.. remember to drive it like you stole it

ParakleetsWhat If Season 2Long time listener and first time writing in. Big MCU fan here and Season 2 of What If is probably my favorite MCU thing since Endgame. I’m surprised that you guys had so much trouble with it! It’s animation! It’s a cartoon! You guys are thinking too hard about it, maybe as your roles as podcasters. As a casual viewer of this stuff, it was just fun and epic! I wouldn’t over analyze Saturday morning Transformers cartoons, and you guys shouldn’t overthink these What Ifs. I also think Captain Carter and Kahorti were awesome characters to connect through the various episodes and seasons. As a 53 year old man, even I recognize the need for female and now Native American female characters and representation in the MCU. Love these two characters and hopefully Kahorti shows up in live action soon. Maybe in Echo???? I love this podcast and typically agree with you guys 100%, but just wanted to share my thoughts about What If and your review.

NotHadassahY'all actually act like ppl and I live for itI have listed to a FEW and I use the word few loosely about mcu and oh my God their all either monotone and with theories that r absolutely outrageous (cough-Mcu Fan show-cough) or they just don't even understand the concept and act like 5 year olds. Please keep this up , y'all r funny and have GOOD theories and get along and don't act like u hate each other (cough- Paul and Sean - cough) Thank you for making this masterpiece. 🙏🏻 you know have a knew listener and follower. Gen z approved.

KycalcjTurning into a paid podcast only. When they put out FREE marvel episodes they are GREAT! However over time they have been trending towards more and more subscription only episodes which you have to pay for which is a real shame. In august they put out 1 Free episode and 6 paid ones. I can’t justify paying $5 a month to listen to them talk about Daredevil. Sad.
-
Bronson Bros.Real PassionThe MCU is at center stage here. The hosts care about the subject matter so much. Their enthusiasm is practically contagious. If you like the MCU, give this a try. It really does put a smile on your face and heart. A genuine feel good podcast. Grateful to have it.
-
Sly hollimanHit or missSome episodes are great, and right to the point. Some episodes they spend a good 3rd just talking about themselves.
-
allenwatkins93Best MCU Podcast! These guys know how to do a podcast. Kyle and Robby truly share their hearts about what they love! The fandom is real, the love is visible, the discourse is well thought out, and the community they have built (Discord) is incredible. My absolute favorite podcast to listen to! Keep it up guys 👏 5 stars all day ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

⚡️Chaos Theory ⚡️Let’s gooooooo!!!!!I live and breath Marvel and think it’s the greatest thing ever! And I thought this podcast was really good and highly recommend it! Robbie and Kyle, are so funny and yet still professional and it’s just amazing!
-
JerrickdamonLove it but…I would like it more if Kyle wasn’t non-stop interrupting Robbie.
-
KingDad127Great pod!Such a fun and light hearted podcast for anyone that loves the MCU. I really appreciate how the guys bring a positive overall vibe each episode. Started listening in 2020 and did the re-watch along with the show, then raced to get caught up. It’s also been great to pop on a reaction episode after you get out of the theater. Just started my second rewatch and it’s been fun going back and re-listening to those old episodes too. Keep up the great work guys!
-
MagikarpSplashGreat podIt’s a man awesome marvel pod but the plus members don’t really get enough content for $5 a month. Kyle interrupts Robbie too much. Gets a little annoying
-
dff1By far my favorite podcastNever thought anyone rewatched and thought about Marvel as much as I did, and then I stumbled on this. Been following for years now. I look forward to the reactions episodes immediately after I watch a marvel project.
-
Carol MarvelletteSO GOOD!!!!I absolutely adore this podcast!! I just started listening to all the episodes in order just about a week and a half ago and I’m already on episode 30! I did listen to a few of the Loki episode breakdowns already and the Friendlee Awards episodes! So good! I cannot express how much I love this podcast! The dynamic and the obvious friendship between Robby and Kyle just makes this podcast an absolute joy to listen to! Loki is my absolute favorite Marvel character, so it was interesting to hear what they had to say about him and his show when they’re not as big of fans of him as I am. We all have our own opinions, so I totally respect their’s. If you pass up this podcast, you may just be making one of the biggest mistakes of your life. Put on your headphones and listen, because this podcast is a blast! Keep taking this podcast to greater heights! Allons-y!
-
SolarSky01Love Your StuffI have been listening for just over a year now and I have loved every second! This past week when you guys mentioned Northwest Arkansas (my home) I just had to comment! Thank you for your takes and your comments on the MCU and for being something I listen to when I’m at work or just driving around. You guys are awesome! Keep it up!

Chuck DumpsterRickey Rat’s love- choked our cultureDisney has never created media unless it’s self-serving. So anybody that truly believes this podcast is some innocent discussion on the latest “work of art” is functioning on a low vibration & undeveloped soul. The hosts of this podcast are tools for the global hellscape that awaits you and everyone else if you keep ignoring the soul cancer that is disney . Also , If you think black panther is “brave” or “reflects the black experience.” , then your brain and your soul has failed you. Sorry.

THOMASTHESPIDERTRAIN🚂Great dudesYou guys rule😃👍

Killian SwanBest MCU PodcastThis is, by far, my favorite MCU podcast. I’ve dropped every single other one I used to listen to because they got so bogged down with negativity and hate. And I am so happy this hasn’t happened with this one. Personally, I like to enjoy things. And I’ve been loving Phase 4, and I’m so happy you guys have been too. Keep up the great work. p.s. The way Kyle exclusively refers to Matt Murdock as ‘Matthew’ makes him sound like a disapproving parent and it’s hilarious.

Evry1sLostButMeWhat started as a Critical Eye has turned cloudyWell, I usually don't like to drop a bomb, but... I started listening during COVID as something to listen to on the way to work. I honestly liked the chemistry, and still do, between the hosts. They are really friends and it shows. However, what started as a truly critical podcast showing both the good bad and ugly has gotten very, how do I put this 'critically,' like watching Woahbegone University Cheerleaders cheering on their team when they are down 72-3 and the 3 was the start of a comeback, with 15 seconds left on the board. I dread to think that getting screening copies of Marvel work has somehow influenced their views, but to be honest, right about the same time they were bragging on that they were unabashedly cheering the greatness of movies and shows that are suspect in quality compared to Phase 1-3. Sorry guys, just calling it like I see it. We fans are expecting a certain quality from Marvel and it just isn't there. Cheerleading isn't helping, it's allowing the same dreck to be shoveled out the door. Please be a little more critical, or invite on people who are more critical to provide balance. You might lose the screeners, but you will gain back many more fans.
-
marvel fan 234PLEASE FIXHi I’m a huge fan of your podcast. I usually listen on Spotify. But the link on your website to the slack dose not work please fix!!!!
-
😎Gerald😎“I just got chills”Best pod, period.
-
NICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Please be more criticalI’m leaving five stars because you’ve given me a lot of great content I’ve enjoyed for years. But it seems like ever since that one time you were critical of a Ms Marvel episode, you’ve been terrified to say anything critical at all. Kyle has always been the “power levels” guy. Where’s that? How has She-Hulk not gotten any discussion there? She’s as strong as the hulk but when she punches someone 15 feet in the air they walk away with a bruise? She slammed a guys head into a wall. He’s dead. Titania can take punches from She-Hulk directly to the face but falling breaks her veneers? Kyle’s also been the CGI guy. Are you serious? Im genuinely concerned for the VFX team and how rushed they must have been because this quality CGI simply does not happen today under healthy work conditions. It’s 2022 and the show’s main character is in the uncanny valley. Unfortunately this podcast has become little more than advertisement.
-
DJB1744Awesome pod!!I highly recommend this podcast! These guys have a great Marvel knowledge and do an amazing job and creating a fun, inviting community. I recommend joining the slack channel, very fun to be apart of as well Also I love hearing about Robby's legal life as I am in law school right now and it's relatable😂 LFG!!!! -Dylan Bressler

ChippCrowEarth’s Mightiest Heroes type thing…I just found this podcast, and have spent the past couple weeks catching up (I am still in the process of) and I am loving it. Friends From Work, and by extension, Kyle and Robby have quickly become one of my favorite podcasts to listen to (I have chills. Oh my god I have chills). Their knowledge and love of the MCU is contagious. I thought I was a fanboy before, but their love and this podcast has elevated me to a level I didn’t think was possible. Do yourself a favor and listen to this podcast. Very well done episodes and they are good people.

Alec, not AlexTwo gregarious guys geeking on the MCU (and more)Found this podcast during Covid. Listened to every episode while walking my dog and have really enjoyed the talk. As a math and finance guy, I can’t help but enjoy putting number on things (sorry, Robbie, but I enjoy the rankings; but, on the other hand, I’ve been a Thor: Dark World defender since it came out - and yes it’s plot has more holes than a slice of Swiss). Anyways, it’s good fun and I definitely recommend the show.
-
the precemeisterSolid 2.5 stars. Robby is the saving grace.Robby is great. Knowledgeable, easy to understand, thoughtful. Kyle on the flip side is irritating, insincere, and though to listen to. I listen specifically for Robby’s take on things. I wish he was a solo act. My only critique with his is that he seems overly positive to keep the show in marvels good graces in order to keep receiving invitations to red carpets and screeners of shows. But Robby knows his stuff.
-
HottrodzReally love this podcastI feel like I’m taking with my friends about my favorite topics
-

EldridgeJFantastic ListenI stumbled upon the podcast when I was looking for something to listen to on my hour commute into work. This was right after Moon Knight episode 1 premiered. I instantly loved how the guys talk about each episode and the nuances of each review. I went back and listened to all the previous episodes. Glad I found these guys!!

DerekisMilliganTOP TIER PODCAST MATERIALGenuinely a gem of a podcast, for all fans of marvel with a sprinkle of pop culture. I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts (as well as other marvel podcasts) and this one is easily my favorite. FFW is a blast due to the engaging conversations between two lifelong friends as well as just quality production value. I’ve listened through every episode twice already and it’s not beyond me to listen through again! If you love marvel movies/shows you will love Robbie and Kyle talking abt them.
-
dszyd13I’ve got chillsThis is a delightful podcast about all things in the MCU. I usually listen to each episode multiple times because Kyle and Robby are so entertaining. They bring an unmatched humanity to film and television review with infectious enthusiasm and witty banter. These guys are the best.

Technician72Reign it in KyleHave been a listener of this podcast since day 1 and the evolution of it has been for the worse. The balance of Robby, a comic book fan, and Kyle, a MCU fanboy was appealing at first due to the contrast in opinions. Over the years Kyle has doubled down on his ignorance of the source material and insistence on getting the last word in or talking over Robby. Kyle has become the epitome of the vanilla MCU fanboy, reluctant to criticize the product, hesitant to the multiverse integration, and introduction of darker themes / concepts. I have supported the podcast monetarily to keep it going early on but the decision by Kyle to monetize certain episodes, subscriber model, at this point in the podcasts infancy was a mistake in my opinion. The ads were more of a viable approach as opposed to going to the subscriber model this early while they were still building the fan base. Would really like the podcast to reign it in and take a step back to the everyday person podcast they initially launched. Love Robby and could do with less of Kyle.
