JessicaSarah1216Like hanging out with your best friendsI… love this podcast very much. Before finding it, I used to have to resort to reading the IMDB synopsis for scary movies to avoid FOMO, because I love scary stories but scary sounds are 🤢 Now I get to listen to a full, funny play by play with DESCRIPTIONS of gross sounds without actually hearing them, told by a group of friends. It makes me think of hanging out with your funniest girls, where everyone is bouncing off of each other and laughing so hard they can’t breathe. My favorite thing to listen to during my very long unfun commute, and always puts me in the BEST mood. Except for the The Mist episode. Feels bad man.

lucasantonelli🥰😂😈I’m not even Too Scared for Scary Movies™️ I just love listening to these ladies tell the stories and gab and joke. So fun and funny 💕💕
-
Mr_Nevermore90GarbageYou are not fans of the genre so you definitely should not be doing reviews of any horror movie.

Below the starsLove the show!I’ve been a long time listener and I absolutely love these ladies. The things that go on in thr lives is great, I can relate to each one in a positive way. If thr was one thing I could change it would be the political talk. It gets pretty boring hearing about it. I’m not for either side, just trying to live and be. If you know what I mean, I get most ppl are on one side or another but that is what got us to where we are now(politically speaking). Can’t the podcast just be about the movies and light n fun? Love you guys still

JamesonDawBest recap podcast out thereSammy is the best

UntA1MedPolitics are goodKeep up the good work, too many conservative snowflakes in the reviews complaining about politics. I bet they would have zero problems if the girls were right leaning. This is a podcast literally about scary things/horror. If what the hosts find scary in contemporary times is an authoritarian government ruled by an orange man then they should be able to talk about it as much as they want. I listen to other podcasts where the host are more conservative and voice their opinion on politics from time to time, and I don’t get my panties in a bunch and leave a negative review.
-
ohjo;I love it allI love this podcast and Emily’s voice and the “two other girls” who host with Sammy and the fact that they repeat what each other says (ouch ouch ouch) and the fact that it’s a Wikipedia summary of a movie. It’s my favorite comfort listen. Haters will be haunted!!!
-
jtabrooksLess politicsSammy’s recaps are great, the politics bring down the entire show. Not only is it unnesccessary—the world is inundated with this, we get it—but they all seem to believe because they have a mic they are experts in their views. There’s no measured takes on anything. . Also Henley seems like a very kind person but please stop trying to be funny, it is so forced and cringe. Also anecdotes about your kids doing silly things is not interesting for anyone but you. I skip a lot of the not-Sammy recap.
-
chriscoxrulestheskies1234Why???I do enjoy this show, however there is something that just gets on my nerves Every episode they spend the first 10-15 minutes talking about politics and their views on things going on. Is that what the show is about? No! This is a horror review podcast not what I believe podcast

xoxoanon91Emily’s voice is painful. Great content.Emily ruins the listener experience. Sammy and Henley have very tempered soothing voices that is actually nice to listen to and keep great pacing of story recapping. Then there’s a screechy annoying throaty “nurrr nurrr” nails on a chalkboard Emily who makes listening so unpleasant it’s actually an assault on my senses to have to have that in my ear. Which is a shame, because the content and Sammy’s recaps are very fun but can never get through the whole thing, as soon as Emily’s grading quacking starts. I wish she was allocated to off mic contribution because this ruins what could be a go-to pod. (No offense but girl you know you make weird noises)
-
Home StarThey could recap a text book and I’d love itI don’t know how I stumbled on this podcast but it is my absolute favorite because I could listen to these three brilliant, hilarious and level-headed women talk about anything, the movies are almost incidental. I also love how real, kind and caring they are with each other, they are a good model for how friendships should be.

From OC calSmart and entertainingLove this podcast! Such a talented crew they are amazing with their storytelling and commentary. I’ve been hooked and joined patrons so I do not miss out! Thank you ladies!
-
lake7877thoughtslove sammy and her recaps, however. the other two girls really ruin the whole thing with the screeching and yelling. also would be even better if they didn’t bring up politics or religious beliefs throughout most of the podcasts. not what we’re here for
-
hamm_sandwicheven more politics plzLove this podcast! Also love that the occasional political talk is so upsetting for whiny trump cultist piss babies. Never change and please keep upsetting the cheetoh dusted fascists, sane listeners won’t mind
-
Kristi P.S.Love these silly white ladiesIf you love horror but are too scared of some movies AND you love silliness with parasocial friends, this podcast is for you! (BTW they are very smart women they just choose to say stupid things for fun!)
-
Eveie VAppreciate you ladies.Love listening, thank you for doing this
-
😒🇺🇸Politically annoyedPlease for the love of god stop talking about your political opinions. That’s not what I listen for.
-
ZennyDreconaCan’t stop talking about it!I absolutely love this podcast! I’ve always been the person that really wants to watch scary movies, but I’ve got too active an imagination 😬. I used to read the wiki synopsis’. Then I heard about TSDW from Tooth & Claw Podcast and now I can’t get enough!! I started just listening to ones that interested me, but now I’m going through the whole catalog! I’m finding scary movies I never knew I didn’t want to ever watch! 10/10 podcast idea 😍 and I love the hosts and the dynamic.
-
abs1238383No.By the time they get to the point, I could’ve finished watching several horror movies.

BigMitty30Remembering...The premise of the podcast is a friend retelling entire plots of horror films to two other friends who are scared to watch. Although basic (there is no real film analysis), it's an entertaining listen. The most frustrating part (only slightly), however, is when key details in the film is missed during the retelling. The other frustrating part are the guests. Some guests mess up the flow of the podcast because there are two people retelling the movie instead of one, and the guests seem to zoom through the film much faster (listen to the Smile 2 episode for an example), which leads to missed details.

jdisixTruly a 5 Star PodcastI love this podcast! All the hosts bring something different & unique to the table. Hearing the reactions from the other hosts is hilarious. Recapping is always done so well with some fun chit chat in there but not too much, everything is just done right. Keep it going ladies! 5 stars for you all!

OrtstagramFor Wimps with FOMOIt’s embarrassing how much I still need to be part of the cultural conversation even though I KNOW horror movies give me nightmares without fail. Enter: TSDW. I love seeing an episode pop up about a movie whose trailer I’d seen (I.e., covered my eyes through), but I also appreciate when they do throwbacks. I’ve really come to love the intros to listen in on some buds just catching up. Did I actually cry when Emily talked about her wedding pictures being found? Yes and I recognize that’s demented. But these women are so charming and joyful that I feel like they’re my friends too.
-
buttamackSo so goodHere’s how good this podcast is. Every once in a while they’ll have an episode so good and so captivating that they make me reevaluate a movie I hated. The energy, the (re)storytelling, the excitement. Absolute chef’s kiss

-thank-you-so-so-muchNo more underwear 🩲!!!!Please no more undies. Aaaaaaaaaa please. Other then that love the podcast. Thank

crime_alleyGreat recap showThere are several good and fun movie recap shows, but the conceit of this one just a great idea. Two women too scared for scary movies and one who recaps it for them. I relish in the squeals and excitement and thrills as they unfold while only listening when I’ve seen the movie (and saving those I haven’t for a watchlist). It’s one of the only shows I listen too when I can get a bit disappointed when a guest comes on. Not that they don’t have good guests, some are killer and come in with their A game, but if they don’t I just wish it was the core group. I can’t recommend this show enough, I’m probably several months from getting caught up but I just had to get this review done. If you are new to the show back listen to movies you know well and see if it’s for you.
-
SheafulIs this what it would be like to have female friends?I made a New Year’s resolution to listen to this show less often. Maybe just like 1 episode a day. I have not been successful.
-
Ben_Gracie_BearA fantastic PodcastI’ve always been interested in scary movies but could never bring myself to watch them. Too Scary; Didn’t Watch solves that problem. Sammy, Emily and Henley are super entertaining and you can tell everyone enjoys making the pod. I’ll keep listening as long as they keep making it!
-
displayname3000Could Use an UpdatePlease do something,ANYTHING, to evolve the show. I’ve been listening since the first episode and it’s just boring now. Do more watch alongs, do a game segment, bring cocktails back, ANYTHING. You all just talking about yourselves gets tedious.
-
AbbieMitchell33Favorite PodcastThis is my favorite pod! Sending love their way and I hope Emily and Sammy are safe and sound! Thinking of all the cats as well, especially Bunk!
-
crowmeagCliff Notes but Better. The podcast I listen to when I cannot even finish a movie trailer.

MissyMrsMomSquid Games??Will there every be a Squid Games part 2? Season 1 episodes 5-9
-
strattagemHusband and wifeWe are working artists to so it works well to be able to listen to a movie and draw. It is so good for our imagination. Also we watch the show after, because we are knuckleheads who are to scared to experience
-
Lost_a_fan000I’m the target audienceWhen I first heard about this podcast a little over a year ago from a guest host, I was instantly interested. I’m the type to read horror movie spoilers but never watch because I want to know but not see. These recaps are entertaining, funny, and relatable—much like the hosts. I won’t see most of these movies, but I feel up on my pop culture thanks to TSDW.
-
ThePodCastLatinoAudiobook Of A MovieAll they do is go through movies scene by scene. I mean… they’re just telling you the movie. No analysis. No criticism. Just literally telling you what happens.
-
TooScaredHadtoListenMy Favorite PodI was recommended this podcast back in September and have listened to 90 episodes so far. Im terrified of scary movies and even reading the synopsizes usually scare me but this group makes them fun to listen to. If it were any other hosts I would not enjoy this nearly as much but Sammy, Emily and Henley’s friendship really shines through each episode and that makes all the difference. Im actually excited for new Horror movies to come out so I can listen to this crews’ recap and reactions to them. Keep up the great work!
-
hollymosmerSo goodQuickly becoming my favorite pod! Always has me giggling to myself while I listen. I’m one of those people who reads the Wikipedia synopsis of a movie if it looks too scary for me to watch, but I really wanna know what happens, so this pod is simply perfect for me.
-
123eel456.Crazy idea but maybe don’t make random grudge noises during a podcast for people who are too scared to watch horror movies
-
bexishlyGetting less scaredThis podcast actually has me seeking out MORE horror to watch so then I can go listen to the recaps and have my feelings validated ❤️
-
TincantelephonecallSo enjoyableIf you don’t like this podcast, you’re wrong.
-
YetiJonesNo notes except more Joel pleaseMy favorite episodes are the ones where it’s either just the 3 girls or when they have Joel join. I am lazy about watching movies and don’t really watch horror but I do want to know what happens in the movies, so this is perfect.
-
mmsurvivorfanProof that a Network will make any podcast popularThey literally stole the concept from another independent podcast and became successful with of it. They lack any knowledge movies and have generally terrible tastes and opinions. And they are not funny enough to make up for it.
-
florafaunamerriweatherI love themI think all 3 of them have amazing chemistry; they are great at storytelling and providing funny feedback. I think Emily is hilarious, Henley always says what I’m thinking, and Sammy is fabulous at keeping it moving! They’ve helped me get through a lot of long work hours in my small business. I listen to this podcast so much. today I got touched out with their specific brand of swears. I don’t mind all the effs , it’s when they mix the effs with deity swears- like it’s CONSTANT. Some listeners are religious and it can be offensive/hurtful. It’s their podcast and it’s their choice what they say. Just offering feedback on in case it’s helpful.
-
NewcoseNo thanksI use to really enjoy this podcast but it’s become too political. I even skip the intro chats and go straight to the recaps, but they still make political comments in the recaps that I just roll my eyes at. Oh well.
-
Granderson67Overly PoliticalI think I’d like this podcast if it didn’t have such staunch political bias. I want to hear about scary movie plots and the crazy reactions, not about Trump and how bad conservatives are.
-
G_1559Do they even like horror?I’ve tried listen to this podcast several times it honestly had promise and a few good reviews but it’s recent Halloween 2018 podcast was just lame and lazy if you don’t like horror movies don’t review horror movies do other movies. They don’t do their homework. They just try to go for cheap laughs that aren’t funny. They didn’t even do the slightest bit of research for a movie that’s easy to prepare for (2 movies required to be caught up Halloween 78 and 2018)
-
lmr1213Love itI love this podcast! I am a fan of movie/show breakdowns, and the hosts definitely make or break it. These hosts are awesome! Funny and very real. I've enjoyed every episode I've listened to!
-
Lucky You!I pretend they’re my friendsThis show is so so good – as someone who has dabbled in watching horror movies and decided it’s not worth the personal risk, I love the movie recaps. My favorite parts of the episodes are the conversational tangents and the obvious true friendship these brilliant women share. So fun, so funny, my pandemic experience would have been SO much better if I had learned about this show back then! I pretend I’m another one of their friends and I tell everyone I know and like about this delightful show.
-
kate 6669Listen after watching too!Love love this show, even when I watch the movies I still want to listen to the recap to get your reactions and your takes and a lot of times you notice something I don’t! Love you ladies!
-
Princessjaycee4ObsessedI feel like I just typed in “horror movie podcasts” a few months ago and now I look forward to every episode and have listened to soooooo many of them lol. it’s a crucial part of my work routine of my new episodes for my weekly routine. So glad I came across this podcast!
-
yoursMRSA perf podcastDon’t know how I came across this podcast but I’ll never let it go! I once asked a friend to describe what happened in (multiple) Friday the 13th movies during a road trip. I’ll never get brave enough to watch any of the films they talk about, I just NEED to know what happens. Start with the Barbarian ep!
