I found this podcast when Cobra Kai first came out & had so much fun listening. I recently saw Karate Kid was leaving Netflix soon so I had a rewatch, which lead me back to Cobra Kai and this podcast. The hosts strike (pun intended) a perfect balance of thoughtful commentary and silly snark. You can tell these are two long time best friends who put this together and their chemistry is off the charts! I was so excited to see you two pop up last week with a hilarious breakdown of The Next Karate Kid. Strike hard, strike first, no mercy…and well done!

It’s very easy to find a podcast about whatever show you’re watching, or show you used to watch; favorite actor or nostalgic period in cinema. It is not as easy, however, to find two people with genuine chemistry who elevate great content with excellent conversation. They also just calls it the ways they see it and pull no punches with the things they don’t like, those they do, and their hilarious personal rivalry from the past. -Mikey

Hawks my favorite actor

The rapport between the cohosts always makes me smile, their analysis is a perfect balance of lighthearted and serious, and they grew up in California so have standing in what it's like to live in the Valley we see portrayed on the show--I knew it couldn't be all sandy beaches and the Pacific Coast Highway out there in the land of Hollywood. Only long-time friends can joke with each other like this and get digs in at each other's expense so wonderfully smoothly. With Season 3 over, I hope they produce some episodes to tide us over until Season 4. Thanks for the effort that goes into this.

this show kinda revolves around a certain suspension of disbelief. you nitpick too many little things like the argument between daniel and johnny at the end of season 2 or when Kreese takes over Cobra Kai. way too serious, just talk about the show/episode for what it is.
