    Very Good and...
After 10-15 pods I can say the topics here are wide ranging & relevant, well done. David's habit of pausing every 3/5/10 words is maddening however. That's a petty topic but delivery matters. It breaks up the flow of conversation and even alters what guests are saying because they think he has stopped talking… fix this & it's 5-star pod.

Shallow and Difficult to Listen to
The positives of this podcast are that it is absent of the inside-joke-bro banter of other podcasts and there are industry guests. However, the reviews and interviews lack depth and seem to regurgitate marking jargon. I question how strong of a rider David is but I give him credit for pulling notable riders onto the pod. I feel bad for saying this, because it may be a neurological issue, but the speaking patterns and pauses made by David are so distracting that I can’t listen to him. Turning up the playback speed does help but not enough to warrant further listening.

Good content, delivery a little rough
I can appreciate the content that is delivered. That said, David, you’re pauses make it hard to listen to the episodes. Be a smooth operator, baby- flow.

    In it for the conversation
I loved the recent episode with Dan from Privateer bikes. I find the “in the weeds” talk with bike builders and designers and Paul Aston types to be engaging. Learning about the inspiration, the mechanics and whys of bike design really breathes life into an industry of products that feel corporations and lifeless.

    Good stuff, no fluff
Goes deeper and more honest than all the other mtb content out there.

    Thoughtful
Thoughtful, interesting podcast. Not repetitive like some other MTB podcasts, but still gives me my MTB fix. Bravo!

    Breadth of bike stoke
David is an awesome guy, always open minded and realistic about the industry. He’s also great at interviewing guests. The whole team is great and they don’t hype stuff up, just report their experience, perceptions and such with the mindset of aficionado, nothing pretentious.
