    Dominant Male Host
    The male host is dominant and his valley girl tone is difficult to listen to. If he could step back, let the guest speak, let the other host have some room there would be something worth listening to. It tipped me over the edge when there are obviously two hosts and he says “tell ME why…” or “talk to ME about…”, there is someone else putting in hosting effort. What’s wrong with saying “tell US…”?

    Oh my goodness! Where have I been? I guess I’ve been living under my mixer or underneath a big granite boulder. I am a cottage baker in north Alabama, so close to Birmingham. :-) I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to all of these podcasts. . I come from a family of chefs and Baker’s, my brother has worked hand-in-hand with Frank Stitt… And my sis worked at Che Panisse with Alice. I am in my happy place when I listen to you all! You have improved my baking game immensely. I would love a chance to meet up and just smell, listen and watch . Maybe participate:) Thank you again for making me whole! Kristen from Huntsville

    Late to the game but so happy!
    I love baking and being in the kitchen and though I have known about Bake From Scratch and all the related bakers on Instagram for a while, I somehow missed the boat on this podcast. I love it! It totally fills my need to think about baking and to learn more about the craft 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    Not much usable content; mostly hawking bob’s red mill
    Listening to the poundcake episode, which is 30 minutes long. After fifteen minutes, they still haven’t started discussing the recipe or technique. Instead, they’ve talked generally about liking to eat poundcake, and they’ve name dropped their sponsor at least 10 times. If you want cooking/baking advice, better to go with Milk Street, Splendid Table, or one of the many other pods devoted to advice and instruction.

    I would like a podcast based on the magazine that presented solid content to expand on the techniques and recipes. This is not that podcast. I learned nothing and the male host and guests were just annoying to listen to.

    First off, I love your podcasts and get so excited when I see a new episode is available. Next, how does one have an episode about chocolate chip cookies and not talk about chocolate? I was so looking forward to hearing about bars vs chips or a combo, and every flavor from milk to bittersweet and everything in between. I think we need a part two. 😊 Happy Baking!

    Not that useful
    Mostly the show is Brian enthusing about how everyone is his GREAT FRIEND. Every sentence has several of the proverbial millennial “like” and “ya know.” He interviews people but doesn’t let them talk. I subscribe to BAKE magazine and love it, but Brian’s podcast is just annoying.

    A Must-Listen for All Bakers!
    If you love baking and want to absorb as much knowledge as you can on the topic, listen to this podcast! The hosts are so fun to listen to and the guest line-up is star-studded. My only complaint is that it’s not weekly - like with sweet treats, I’m kind of insatiable! LISTEN!

    I love listening to this podcast since inception last year because it makes me feel part of a baking community. I’m also a bake from scratch subscriber. It is nice to be able to hear the voice of the persons whose articles I adore. Thank you for doing this podcast. God bless you!

    This is the best food/baking podcast I’ve come across yet. The interviews have been really great so far. Every listen inspires me. I even got the first 2 ‘Bake from Scratch’ books which are quite good too.
