Mister AlohaInsights & AlohaI live on the mainland, but fell in love with the Hawaiian islands over a decade ago and have made lots of trips over the years. I’m so grateful for this podcast and how it combines fun things to do and eat, as well as insightful discussions on important topics. If I had my own podcast, I would want it to be just like this. It’s a wonderful balance of helping visitors to have the vacations, as well as learning how to be well informed and respectful guests. It’s also a great way for me to be able to stay informed about the places that I love and miss so much.
-
BeckLeia00It’s in the title- HAWAII’S BEST!I love this podcast!! We have family that live in North Shore, Oahu. We visit as much as we can, so friends and family are always asking for places to go or stay while planning their trip. I ALWAYS recommend this podcast, Bryan is not only super nice, but great at giving the best travel tips to Hawaii. Mahalo Bryan for this podcast, keep giving us all the secrets!

b2018!The best of podcastsHawaiis best is the best of podcasts to learn the right way about Hawaii to do travel and respect for the culture. We are especially hesitant to visit after the happenings in Lahaina but now have a better understanding of the right thing to do and what to do to be of help rather than hurt the people during this time. This podcast will make you smile and excited about visiting the best spot.
-
Harper3789Great!This is the best podcast out there when planning a trip to Hawaii! Thank you for all the tips and tricks!

-
K.DelaneyI love Hawaii’s best!!Bryan brings a lot of aloha to his interviews. Hawaii has a deep history and rich culture, proper edict goes a long way when visiting these islands. Hawaii’s Best does a great job educating people on how to travel responsibly and tips to help lessen the impact of tourism on Hawaii’s delicate ecosystem. I also have a greater appreciation for native Hawaiian culture and the Aina after listening. Mahalo!
-
Pitbull02Love Hawaii and Love the PodcastAloha, Love listening into the podcast and picking additional information about each island. Kauai is our favorite island and we will be back there this September 2023. Living the Aloha life from NJ everyday. Mahalo.

4eversmith_famDreaming of HawaiiThis podcast is BY FAR the best one out there for helping to plan a trip to Hawaii. Learning ways to support local beyond the lava flows is very valueable. Every other podcasts seems to talk about how to get the most out of Hawaii, while this one is more focus and leaving Hawaii better than we found it. And they’re not trying to sell anything like a travel agent. Thanks and aloha!
-
Love it360Something for everyone!I love that this podcast talks about all of the different types of activities you can do in Hawaii and breaks it down by island and interests. I definitely need to go to Kauai to go tubing! I also love that they have a whole episode of respect for the island and how to not be the problem tourist.
-
Iphone4girl!:DLove it!This podcast provides very useful tips & information that is super helpful when looking to visit Hawaii or even just to learn more! I love learning about Hawaiian culture & how we as tourists can do a good job at leaving the land better than we found it.
-
Loyalty Doesnt MatterLove this PodcastThis is a very informative podcast for those who visit Hawaii and locals. It was too cute of your son giving advice to kids/parents on what to do on flights. Can’t wait to go back and check out sights you mention! It’s also great to learn more about the culture and language prior to traveling there. Thanks for sharing!!! IG @travelingwithwanderlust

luv4hawaiiMore episodes!Been to Hawaii many times but only stayed in Waikiki. Love the tips and guests on this podcast. Can’t wait for my next trip to get out of Waikiki and experience more of Hawaii.
-
Hawaiians4HawaiiGreat for visitorsThe host does a great job of acknowledging Hawaiian history and culture. This podcast is a great resource for those visiting Hawaii in knowing etiquette and what to expect. The tourism industry isn’t going away any time soon, so happy to see this podcast help to educate travelers. Mahalo!
-
jeffwatson75Can’t wait for my trip!Going to Hawaii for the first time and this podcast has really helped me to know what to expect. I’ve also learned some cool stories behind some great companies, like Hawaiian Host and Koloa Rum.
-
nanalife4meThe BEST Hawaii podcastI’ve listened to many of the Hawaii podcasts and this is by far the best for helping me plan my trip. And it highlights Hawaiian culture and how to travel responsibly. The host seems nice and genuine and the guests are always good. Thanks!
-
Nicole_luvs5Helps me plan!Gets me ready for my family’s visit to the islands! Having an understanding of the culture and history helps me to be better prepared to visit Hawaii for the first time. Thank you!
-
lukesimpson84Down to earth and informativeLove that this podcast isn’t trying to sell vacation packages like the other Hawaii podcast. The info here is particular and honest without an agenda of selling something. Love hearing from the amazing guests like the Alaska Airlines episode.
-
kirbypower123A must have travel guideWhat I appreciate about this podcast is it blends insights into locales that are off-the-beaten path with new takes on those that are well known. Makes me want to hop on a Hawaii-bound plane now!!
-
daniellefboydLove the historical perspectiveIt was great to hear about the significance of the Lei as I only learned of the celebration that takes place this month today! As a lover of facts and different cultural facts I will be a returning listener!
-
travelmama83Culture and travel! Thank you for thisThis podcast has been a great resource for planning our trip to Hawaii! It brings the best of Hawaii to travelers, but is always highlighting the culture of Hawaii and how to travel responsibly. I can’t wait to go back and give back in a beach cleanup or other volunteer effort. Keep the episodes coming!
-
Me28761235CoolGlad the podcast is back. But please don’t bring back the rich stupid white kid who thinks sunlight and salt water cures Covid. That was irresponsible.
-
Amira OThe best podcast about travel and Hawaii!I have been wanting to travel to Hawaii for quite some time now and this podcast does such a great job providing insight and information about Hawaii before traveling there. Highly recommend tuning in!
-
rick6484The best podcast about HawaiiThere are a few other podcasts that are geared towards travelers, but all fall short compared to this one. One of the other podcasts is some travel agent promoting his booking service. Do people still use travel agents? The other podcasts constantly have audio issues and is hard to get through. More importantly Hawaii’s Best shares Hawaiian voices and how to travel responsibly. And the production is professional. Thanks for this awesome podcast!
-
JackRye45Amazing resourceI was actually pretty stressed about my upcoming trip to Hawaii but just listening to a few episodes made me feel comfortable about exactly how to plan my trip. Downloaded the apps, too, and they are fantastic.
-
rjhhhhhhhhhBest podcast out thereBy far my favorite podcast when it comes to knowing the ins and outs of Hawaii and all of the beauty it has to offer! Looking forward to future episodes!
-
ke4meGreat infoLove all the guests and hearing the stories behind local businesses. Very helpful for planning and getting excited for our next trip. The podcast has also helped me to become more aware on how to travel more responsibly.

-
AbstanityAwesome!I first came across Bryan / Hawaii’s Best through IG and his content sharing insight on things to do, places to go and where to eat from a local’s perspective. Coming across his podcasts has been an absolute game changer!
-
Jerome Shaw 🤲🏾Host really knows his stuff! Great info and content!Listened to episode “What to Know Before Going to Hawaii”. Nice intro music and announcer! Your voice is so warm and welcoming. Love to travel so this is such a great and informative podcast. Never seen or been to Hawaii so this episode got me excited. Love the idea of being able to bypass quarantine without a test. Thanks for keeping us in the loop about Hawaii news. Recommend this podcast to anyone who is interested in traveling to Hawaii and values getting tips and resources. 🏝
-
kaimialoaaEducational & High ProductionSuch a polished podcast. Full of wonderful information. Love that this podcast addresses Hawaiian culture and how to respect the land when visiting. Educating people is key for them to understand and Malama ‘aina

boymomstrongThe go-to source for HawaiiLove all the tips and advice Bryan and the incredible guests give. My family and I love Hawaii and visiting. -
torimitch18Amazing travel podcastI am planning a trip to Hawaii and this podcast has been crucial to my planning. I am so grateful that Brian has taken the time to create these episodes and find the wonderful guests he has on the show, because they teach me so much about Hawaii and about planning a trip. Because I listened to this before I visit, I know I will have such a better appreciation for these islands than I would have before!
-
josiem8Great tips and guestsAs someone who loves Hawaii and have traveled many times to the islands, I find this podcast extremely helpful from the insider tips of the guests and the team at Hawaii’s Best. I want to travel to Hawaii responsibility, and this podcast helps me do that! Mahalo! And to the person who said this is a white privileged podcast...what is that about? Why does it even matter the race of the person who’s providing this valuable content. If you care some much about Hawaii and the land, why don’t you start your own podcast and website helping people travel to the Hawaii responsibly. As someone who happens to also be white and love and respect Hawaii, I find your comment narrow minded and small. As for me, I’ll choose love and aloha always. Mahalo Hawaii’s Best for providing this podcast!
-
GaryinOrindaReally EnjoyedThank you so much for a very interesting and fresh perspective of the Islands. We have been to most all of the islands in the past and are preparing for a two week vacation in the big Island at the end of April. Really appreciate the information on Shaka guide and we have downloaded that as well. Today I listened to the story of Pele, and greatly enjoyed!
