    A Must for Reds Fans
Always enjoy this podcast. Definitely a 5 Star podcast. Just listened to the April 16 podcast. Jake Fraley is now my new favorite Reds player. I love his honesty and his willingness/eagerness to talk about his mental coaching and even more importantly how important faith is to him! Way to go Jake!

This podcast belongs to the Reds!
This podcast is one of the best things about the Cincinnati Reds. A chance to see the ordinary side of these extraordinary athletes, listen as Jim does a perfect job of interviewing and, more importantly, just listening. From Joey Votto to Jake Fraley to Sean Casey, you will love these players for who they are off the field just as much as you love them for who they are on the field. Producing an excellent podcast, this one truly belongs to the Reds!

Love Jim Day and Love the Reds
Update: I’ve just started about a month plus ago listening to the podcast. I try to listen to the new ones when they come out, and have been listening to the old ones in order. Just listened to the Corky Miller one and it is so cool listening him talk about Tyler Stephenson. Folks, you have to listen to the old ones. So much you can see from the past and how things have come to fruition later. Just saying! Thanks Jim Day for doing this! ———————— I have loved watching Jim Day on the TV over the years giving us Reds baseball. The last little while I’ve heard them talk about the Jim Day podcast. I’ve never been one to really listen to that kind of thing. But, I decided to take a leap. I subscribed to the podcast and have enjoyed it immensely! Love the chats you have with the players. Have loved the Kyle Farmer episodes! Keep it going Jim! Thanks for all you do for us in Reds Country!

    Love this podcast!
As a lifelong Reds fan, I can’t get enough of this podcast. The Sean Casey interviews have me crying every time I’ve listened to them (yes, I’ve listened to each multiple times). This podcast such a fun way to feel connected to current and past players and deepens my fandom with each episode.

THE BEST INSIGHT IN THE REDS
I love this podcast. Jim never once makes this about himself. He’s perfectly personable with every guest. The way he can get these legends to tell a story is amazing. I hope he comes back soon to give us Red’s fans the off field stories we want. Kudos to you Jim Day! You’re an absolute gem and voice for the franchise. Thank you for lugging your podcast equipment to capture these conversations. I hope all is well with you during this state that baseball is in. I’m hoping to hear you soon. #gymdaywithjimday

    Fantastic Podcast
Absolutely love the podcast. Each guest brings so many interesting and fun stories to each episode. Different eras of the game, personality types and stories that go way past normal baseball stats. Every Reds fan needs to listen to every episode, especially Sean Casey’s interview.

    Every Day with Jim Day
Jim Day , Your podcasts are the best. I listen to you weekly on my 6hr drive from east central Ohio to Chicago. Great stories with both on and off the field details from our heroic Reds. Need more podcasts from The Great Marty Brenneman. Really enjoy the Cowboy as well. Like you I grew up listening to Marty and Joe on my transistor radio especially late at night during the west coast games. You do an excellent job Jim with your TV gig and these podcasts. My family and I truly enjoy what you have done by bringing us closer to the game and the heroes we love. I’ve been a Reds fans for 40 years and a Jim Day fan for 21. Keep up the awesome job you do Jim, we love you pal!!!

    Thank you Jim!
Thank you for doing this Jim! Being in Texas, for the last 6 years I’ve missed going to the ballpark, as well as Redsfest, Caravans, etc. Listening to these podcasts brings back awesome memories and I love learning new information on players! Keep up the great work!!

    Really Appreciate All You Do
Great podcast!! I've been recovering from a partial amputation all my toes of my foot (my 2nd foot) that I have had it done to so I can't get out much without depending on people to get me around. Because I can't drive until I get custom made orthotics & braces to put in a good pair of diabetic shoes. There has been one delay after the other getting them. I was supposed to get them tomorrow (Thursday) but now I have to wait until next Wednesday to get everything. Plus I go to dialysis 3 days/week for 4 hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So I just wanted you to know that I guess that I've been binge podcasting. I listen to a couple episodes each time I'm at dialysis & listen to episodes at home not being able to drive until I get everything for my feet. It has been very informative listening to your podcast. You are a great interviewer & also a great person. I work at Kroger up in Blue Ash but have been off work since all this started back in mid March. Please keep me in your prayers that I will be able to go back to work soon because the funds are getting low. I'm only 55 years old & as long as I can still walk I don't want to go on disability. I may have to cut back to part-time status when I go back to work & find something I can do from home or behind a desk or sitting down. Hopefully I'll be able to find something. Keep up the great that you do & helping me realize there are still caring & wonderful people in this crazy world we live in these days. Take care. Peace. All my best, Steve Jenike P.S. I think we're friends on Facebook if you ever want to send me some positive posts I would appreciate it.

    In-depth and informative
Great podcast. I particularly like his interviews with former players. They can be more honest and reflective in their comments, and it’s hard to find other sources on what some of these former players are doing now. A fav is the Joe Morgan interview done not long before he died.

    Jim Day
Does a awesome job!!! I listen to podcasts on third shift. He does a wonderful job in picking guests. He also does a great job being personable to the fans and his guests. I can’t wait for the next one! Go Reds!!! Go Jim Day!!!

    Jim Day is solid
Have to admit ... the first several years of Jim on tv, I thought he was dorky and annoying. Boy, was I wrong, or he has evolved a lot. He was top-notch doing play-by-play on tv, in my opinion, he isn’t a dork at all — it is apparent in these podcasts that the players genuinely, genuinely like him and respect him. If Jim were a lawyer, he would take a great deposition - he really gets the guys at ease and their conversations are fun and interesting from the get-go. Keep it up, Jim! You have my respect. Awesome podcast.

    Sean Casey
Awesome Podcast! I love the all the old stories. Sean Casey has always been my all time favorite. Such a great personality. Would love to hear him tell the story about catching the foul ball at the 2015 All Star Game!

The perfect podcast for a Reds/baseball fan!
Absolutely love this podcast. I’ve always been a huge Jim Day fan, his insight is top notch and the questions he asks his guests are incredibly insightful and interesting. Go Reds!

Appreciate the podcast very much JD! Nothing will ever replace live Reds baseball but this kept my craving for it at bay during the quarantine. Thank you!

Love the Pod - Guest Requests?
Awesome pod, Jim Day. Honestly, revolutionizing the way fans get to view and understand the players on the team. If I can make a request, can we get Adam Dunn in the pod in the future? Dunner seems like he’d be an all-timer.

    Baseball and Beyond
I love getting to know the players beyond their typical post-game interviews. Hearing their stories helps fans connect with them and want to root for them even more!

I love listening to these! I listen to them everyday my favorites were Nick Senzel and of course Joey Votto. I hope Jim Day gets more guests like Sonny Gray, Nick Castellanos, and Shogo Akiyama.

    Episode 41
I try to listen to all your podcasts Mr Day. Tommy Helms was definitely was one of my favorites that youve done. I’m 52 years old, so his playing days were a little before my time, but, I enjoyed the stories nontheless. Thank you so much.

    Reds & Baseball Heaven
Great way to get away from the issues of the day. Talks with just about everyone that I saw play with the Reds, from Jim Maloney to Hunter Greene. Interviews are fun and informative. The ones with Sean Casey are not to be missed!

    Tucker podcast
Jim, loved the Tucker Barnhart podcast from July 6, 2020. He is such a down to earth guy and so interesting. It would have been great if you asked him what $40 bourbon he is drinking. So curious!

Great historical guests with insider stories
Fantastic listening, listen to the Joe Morgan episode-I felt like I knew Joe after the podcast, Joe really opened up about the Reds, teammates, his family and the team, highly recommend
  • Always a Reds Fan!
    Thank you!!!
Thank you Jim Day. I am a generational (3) Reds fan. Baseball is in my blood, and I have missed it tremendously. I love the podcasts, and listen while I clean house or do work in my flowers. This has been a sanity saver for me. As an older person, I really have to stay home and be careful right now, but your podcasts are a breath of fresh air. I love the interviews, both the current players and the earlier ones. I will continue listening, even as the season finally begins. Please keep it going.
  • jrxplod08
    Perfect podcast
I’ve been a big fan of Jim Day for many years. I love hearing stories from retired players and what baseball was like back then. It’s cool knowing what life is like outside of baseball for some of my favorite players. *WARNING* If you are driving and listing to either Sean Casey episodes be careful because you will be laughing so hard that it’s hard to concentrate on driving! Keep up the good work Jim and I will continue to love this podcast

    If You Love The Reds
Jim Day has some of the best guests on his podcast and I don’t miss a single one of them. Every time I think it can’t get better he out does hisself again. Just finished Tommy Helms and I had no clue how funny and enlightening Tommy was. If you love Reds baseball half as much as I do then you should subscribe to this podcast and then sit back and enjoy. Thanks for the great guests especially the old timers, they have so much history to talk about and we should cherish every word.
