I used to follow this show but stopped because most of the episodes end with asking the audience to weigh in. I tried a few recent episodes today. Now the hosts essentially made fun of one or both parties to the call or laughed uncontrollably. Won’t waste my time again.

Not real at all

Every single iheartradio channel uses the same actors that call in. Fake stories, fake dates and fake radio hosts. Its become so ridiculous at this point…soon they will all be off the radio. The world is a stage, and we’re all done with the fakery. These radio hosts are paid to lie and to keep us stupid. The truth is out and it’s time you go…hopefully to jail!!

I love the one about how they talk about how someone change a dirty diaper on the first day of their date. They went to their house and they said that hey, I need you to clean my son‘s diaper and he said that it was a full on blowout.

Why would you play Liza's revenge call? The poor lady is so insecure. She got caught catfishing and then follows up with a series of more bad behavior and it gets aired? This woman needs therapy. She totally humiliated herself. I think a little responsibility to not glorify the mentally ill by giving them a microphone would be helpful. Bravo that she is improving her health. Her emotional problems really should be addressed simultaneously. I hope the station can at least reach out to her with some support info. Why would you call on behalf of someone who is already in a relationship? What happened to morals and integrity? It can't be found on this show! Tell her to handle her "complications" BEFORE you drag other people into her insanity. Don't be desperate for calls, just take a day off from the segment. Pathetic again

I don’t listen to country music, nothing wrong with it.. I like a couple songs but don’t listen to it regularly. I will say I listen to the second date update segment and Frito and Katy are awesome… I love their personalities and I may just start listening to the full show, if available, and normally there only morning radio show I listen to is JohnJay & Rich… but you guys are amazing s as well!! Love the camaraderie between the two of them and the laughter and kindness they show to everyone.. regardless of their music preferences 😁😁

The hosts are terrible; this is a dating show, and yet every time a caller begins to describe any physical interaction that may have occurred, the hosts panic like they're about to hear something extremely offensive. I also really dislike the tone of the hosts; it's always sneering and totally unfunny. Odd that these two host a dating show and yet they have panic attacks if someone mentions making out. Lame!

It’s a fun silly show. I just get so irked when the guy says “Y one hun-tret” like why?

Love Frito & Katie…2nd Date Update Y100 SATX in the USA is the best of all! I listen while I tan, cook, clean and everyone in my nail salon knows I turn it on while I’m getting manicured and/or pedicured, they all love it!

I know these are fake because I listen to all similar shows on different radio stations and they all use the same actors and actresses. But this show makes it even faker to squeeze everything in to fit the schedule. The callee has no hesitation and immediately tells their side of the story, which will never happen in real life! Who picks up the call from an unknown number and immediately understands what’s happening and is ready to tell a very personal story of their dating life? Make it sound a little more authentic please.

I was listening to some of their podcasts, but after listening to this one episode where they ganged up on the woman because she didn’t want to have kids; I was instantly turned off from this. Firstly, it’s not like she did anything wrong or crazy; it was purely her opinion, I want kids myself, but they seemed very narrow minded and shallow for attacking her for her decision about her body. For reference it’s the second episode. Try being more open minded maybe? Don’t attack someone for a decision pertaining to what they want to do with their body. Second date update with Marcus and Corey 10/10 beats this podcast.

I think the female DJ needs to keep her opinions to herself. She seems to judgemental to be on the air. I found one episode to be offensive because of her sharing her opinion so I will never listen to this podcast again.

Honestly, I have listened a few times… actually a lot of times. The guests on the show are definitely paid actors. Each time the person is aware of the show & then shocked the other person is on the phone. There is a great potential for this show concept, please use real people & real scenarios

Just listened to my last episode. Why do they have to pick sides? It seems like they are just making things up to support whichever “side” they are on. Seems faked & staged.

Too many repeats. I’d also like to hear the person calling in. They jump straight to calling the person that ghosted the other.

Beth yells a lot, and can sometime be rude same for her cohost, not everyone can think like you. I think it’s nice to hear the audience’s thoughts it’s refreshing.

Sexist against men by Beth but especially against women by the male host(s)! I was shocked at the episode where a women is completely torn apart by the male host (not sure if it was Big Joe or the previous male host) for not wanting to have kids. He went on and on about how selfish she was for not wanting kids!! Pathetic. There are so many other great Second Date podcasts out there. PASS ON THIS ONE.

... J.R. left the station. He took the lead and Beth had a minor role. She’s too predictable (boring) to be the lead on these.

I just wish there were a 100 a day to listen to. I've listened to a lot of Second Date Updates but Jubal and Brooke are by far the best. I've shared this with friends and family. It's so funny!! Please make more 😁

Can’t believe you don’t play the first person describing the date!? That’s the best thing about these podcasts, hearing 2 ppl describe the date like they were on completely different dates. Way to ruin it guys... SMH

Just listened to the last episode ever. Basically told a lady she is not grown up because she has decided not to have kids and that she is selfish. So much ignorance in one episode. It was honestly incredible offensive to listen to. Choosing not to have kids for medical, economic, and personal reasons is incredibly responsible if it’s not something you want to have in your life. Recognizing your goals and life plan and following through is mature and completely within your right. Just because you have the ability to have children does not make you obligated to do so. (Just FYI for those of you that do have kids or want to have kids that is also wonderful and I am happy for you and glad you are able to have those experiences that you had wanted for yourself so please don’t feel like I am saying it’s wrong. Being a mom is a great thing for those who want to be and y’all are rockstars!) Anyways the show should be incredibly disappointed in how closed minded they are. Would recommend y’all take a look at a book called “Invisible Women” that gives great statists and data about the very thing y’all were incredibly judgmental about without having much insight. I urge y’all to make a public apology for how rude you were to the girl on the episode titled “no kids”

Second Date Updates are good shows, but this one is NOT. They or more often than not extremely rude and pass judgment on the person they are surprise calling. Beth, the host told one of the surprises callers “you’re not a real man”. This is not entertainment, it’s just people with a bully pulpit berating people who are not expecting it.

Almost impossible to listen to because of Beth. Simple minded observations and constant interruptions.

Her voice and her laugh give me a headache

Great show, can’t stop listening. Have to doing one star though, best, let’s get real... you unrealistically stick up for the dumb girls. It’s different from woman power, it’s just pretty annoying

There are lots of second date updates available. This is one of the least enjoyable. The DJs don’t facilitate the discussion as much as dominate it.

Not as fun as some of the other second date updates podcasts But I still get a kick out of these.
