Silly CaitlinThanks for the endless laughsThese guys are unapologetically themselves, and are living proof that there’s a place for goofiness and absurdity throughout life. On a more serious note—thanks for covering East Coast/New England trail running in all of its badassery and not treating it as an afterthought (like some of the more mainstream podcasts that are really West Coast-centric).

777Marty777FunEpisode 298, 1:30:02 agree 100%!!
-
major arshoGreat Running PodcastI eagerly await every episode to hear about what’s going on in the running world, what’s coming up, and what the Cultra Crew is up to! Great guests and content, with some hilarious commentary!
-
Red Rufus CFun and funny podcast about trail running for everybodyAlways enjoy listening to this podcast to hear about trail running as it takes everybody’s perspective into account. Always with a fun and funny approach as we get stories from the front, middle, and back of the pack.
-
LawdawgKJBest on the Beast CoastThe Cultra Crew (Art, Fred, Becky, and Jimmy) keep the conversation light and hilarious while discussing beast coast trail running and races. Fred provides valuable insights based on his vast ultra-running experience, Jimmy is quick-witted and can riff on absolutely anything, Becky is the heart of the podcast, and Art….well, Art really wants to tell you about the time he biked the Erie Canal. Just kidding, Art is the show’s leader and also brings a lot of northeast trail running experience to the pod. I’ve met them all in person and can tell you they are genuinely great people.
-
1kt456The best! These people are good people and make me laugh.

@scottykummer5 StarsI miss Jimmy Mac but Beckey makes up for it.
-
J HeinzNot just another running podcastBest thing to come out of Connecticut since the hamburger. Love the pointless banter; and they do a decent job of interviewing runners about races, gadgets, crew, etc.

ryanredonSmhGucci is from Atlanta, show some respect my guy

Radio TrailBest running PodcastGreat hosts, great content! This podcast is what Northeast trail running is all about. Every episode is entertaining and worth a listen.
-
chiphowardrnA mustThis is my go-to podcast for information related to Trail Running, ultras, and New England. The topics are always relevant.
-
museman76Outstanding show about northeast trail running. This show is great! Came across it listening to The Adventure jogger. Great content about local races in New England and northeast region. The hosts have a great sense of humor while also providing excellent coverage of local races and trails.

UltrarunningmomA Favorite PodcastCULTRA has become the definitive audio Re source for New England Trail Running.

#Ricky VegasDraw strange looks in publicI started listening around episode 60. I laugh out loud at least once per episode and that tends to draw strange looks when road running. I’m simultaneously listening going forward while working my way through all the back episodes. Listening in reverse chronological order is very much like Marvel super hero origin stories; dismembered monkey hands, douche canoes, Gelato all is revealed in time. When Jimmy Mack said a squirrel yelled at him something shot out of my nose while I was running. So if don’t mind strange looks and losing control of your bodily functions this may be the podcast for you.

T_DockBetter than a kick in the junk I guessI’ve made three attempts to submit a review of this podcast, but Apple has rejected each of my previous tries because they contained profanity. This is unfortunate, because it’s difficult to provide an accurate review of the Cultra Trail Running podcast without using my choicest swear words. Keep up the (good?) work.

LostandFoundPoetEpicness in audio formatThe perfect podcast for long stents in the woods. What may at first seem like a hatchet audio job is really a clever ploy to lull you into blasting baritones and didgeridoo’s as loud as your headphones can manage to double check that you haven’t fallen asleep in the middle of the trail. Keep up the great work!! (Also, you’re all lucky I don’t have cell service out on the trails or you’d be listening to a brutal rendition of Danger Zone instead of this review)

Sonny from Wake CountyVT 100 episode!!Being originally from New England the VT 100 is a special race. The discussion regarding the safety or readiness of the runner’s was intriguing and made me review ( I never review anything) your Pod. I agree with Art that it’s a tough/good discussion for our sport I agree that this is a tough sport. That’s what I love about it. I don’t want to see this sport watered down by the “Boom”. I listen to a lot of podcasts and that discussion resonated. Love your podcast y’all. I Have a lot of fun running down here in NC listening to everyone talk about the races I love up north. 5 time traprock finisher here :) and 5 time 7 sisters Keep up the good work!

#allthethingsTri-curious?I had another opportunity to rate you five stars so I did! I don’t like to run, but I really like all of you! xo -ChristinA Now come tri with me!

davidf256Steeeeeeeeeeeout PodcastThis podcast had been such a great find! It was randomly recommended by a user on Reddit and I’m glad it was. It’s such a fun, lighthearted, and beautifully raunchy Podcast. It’s has made me, for the first time in my 32 years of glorious existence, consider running a longer distance. I hope to do a 50k next year and it’s all because of you guys! Keep up the great work and keep choking that chicken! Also, I messed up my knee awhile back training so I’ve been doing a lot of walking, appreciate J-Mac always giving me kudos on Strava for my lame walking activities! Ha! No tongue twisters or foreign languages here, just a sincere appreciation for the couple hour escape you guys provide each week. Maybe one day I’ll be tackling those CT mountains with ya’ll! I’m still pretty slow right now, but I’ll see ya’ll in a couple of miles! *Ya’ll... I’m from the Midwest. 🤷♂️

TrRnrAt least it's in English(well, right about that time people A fur-trapper (who was strictly from commercial) Had the unmitigated audacity to jump up from behind my igloo (peekaboo)) And he started into whippin on my favorite baby seal With a lead-filled snowshoe) I said, with a Lead- Filled With a lead filled snowshoe He said, peekaboo I said, with a Lead- Filled With a lead filled snowshoe He said, peekaboo He went right upside the head of my favorite baby seal He went whap with a lead-filled snowshoe, and He hit him on the nose and hit him on the fin, and he That got me just about as evil as an eskimo boy can be. So I bent down And I reached down, and I scooped down and I gathered up a generous Mitten-ful of the deadly yellow snow The deadly yellow snow, from right there where the huskies go! Whereupon I proceeded to take that mittenful of the deadly yellow snow Crystals and rub it all into his beady little eyes with a vigorous Circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined To take the place of the mudshark in your mythology Here it goes, the circular motion, now rub it! (here fido) And then In a fit of anger I pounced And I pounced again Great googly moogly! I jumped up and down on the chest of the him I injured The fur trapper Well he was very upset, as you can understand And rightly so, because the Deadly yellow snow crystals had Deprived him of his Sight And he stood up, and he looked around, and he said I can't see I can't see Oh, woe is me I can't see Well..... You know I can't see Nothin He took a dog-doo snow cone and stuffed it in my right eye He took a dog-doo snow cone and stuffed it in my other eye And the husky wee-wee I mean the doggie wee-wee Has blinded me And I can't see Temporarily Well, the fur-trapper stood there, with his arms outstretched across the Frozen white wasteland, trying to figure out what he was going to do about His deflicted eyes. And it was at that precise moment that he remembered And ancient eskimo legend, wherein it is written (on whatever it is that They write it on up there) that if anything bad ever happens to your eyes As the result of some sort of conflict with anyone named Nanook, The only way you can get it fixed up is to go Trudging across the tundra Mile after mile Trudging across the tundra Right down to the parish of st. Alphonzo

Nickname_N/ANot Quite TJM but Close EnoughI kid I kid, it's a good pod. I really enjoy listening to these guys and also getting to hear about some of the local races in the NorthEast. Overall, the quality (audio) has gone up from the earlier episodes and the witty banter keeps me entertained on my training runs. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Lantha57CultraIn every walk with nature one receives far more than they seek. -John Muir The same can be said of every Cultra episode, for better or worse.

Jl11111222223Love TJM!I love Scotty and the crew’s witty banter about all things. The Strava shoutout and bonk line calls are my favorite. I’m a little confused about why they talk about Connecticut so much though, as I thought they were from Chicago.
-
MerellenSeriously EntertainingStarted listening with the Traprock (traprock in my whisper voice) episode and have been hooked since. Love the banter and they way you all get along, and the stories inspire me to want to up my mileage. Keep up the good work, and maybe some day I’ll hit up the Karaoke hotline 😎
-
SlowRob50Improving ReviewsI’ve been enjoying your witty banter. And listening helped me complete my first 50miler. However the quality of the show went way down hill when you read a review from Rob Sawyer. I expect more from you - well not really. See you in a mile ...
-
LizSurfsDirtPS to previous review...I listen via Spotify and downloaded iTunes just so I could leave you a review. To be promptly deleted.

WTReedNot badPretty good running pod cast. There room in my phone and in my heart for both Cultra and Bad Boy Running.

thecrtjstrAn amazing group of peopleFound you after TR50, because you guys are hilarious, and I love hearing a podcast that focuses on trail running in the Northeast. Keep it up. Also, because 5 stars, Monty Python: I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK I sleep all night and I work all day I cut down trees, I skip and jump I like to press wild flowers I put on women's clothing and hang around in bars I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK I sleep all night and I work all day I cut down trees, I wear high heels Suspendies and a bra I wish I'd been a girlie, just like my dear Papa

justin chauvinLove the local trail running podcastBeing from the north east and loving the trail running scene , this podcast was exactly what we needed. Many podcasts don’t cover both this region and ultra and trail running. Thanks for giving me the content I need and having fun enjoyable conversation that is easy to follow along. It stays fun and enticing. I got to meet Art and Brian at traprock and they were cool dudes! I thoroughly enjoyed my first traprock. Hope to run into you guys again soon! Keep up the good work!
-
mylifeismusic1993Beast Coast ProudLove the new additions to the cultra crew. You guys really have the show dialed in, and I look forward to getting to know more about the area every week. Keep it up! Also time to earn those five stars: Imagine an imaginary menagerie manager managing an imaginary menagerie. I slit the sheet, the sheet I slit, and on the slitted sheet I sit. Of all the felt I ever felt, I never felt a piece of felt which felt as fine as that felt felt, when first I felt that felt that's felt.
-
OldCarRonAlways makes me smile on my runsCultra crew does a great job with content and guests!! As a fellow CT Trailmixer it’s fun to hear the conversations of my friends when I’m running solo!! Miss the original audio at the beginning of the podcast and don’t understand the didgeridoo. Keep up the good work and continue the friendly trash talk to Ten Junk Miles!! Need to figure out a collaboration podcast
-
Rob JeffersGreat Nor’easterFor those of us in the North East it’s great to hear some banter about the trails and runners around us. The interviews are great with some probing and interesting questions. I take The Cultra Club our on my long runs and the miles fly by. Keep up the great work!

leungevityYay for figuring out how to use the sound board!5 stars because now the voice volumes are balanced! I hate that monkey, but some of the conversations make me laugh, keep up the “good” work ;)
-
EastcoastJennyThrowing it down on the Beast CoastYou had me when you garciously gave credit to Eric Sherman from DFL Ultrarunning and Scott Kummer of Ten Junk Miles as inspiration for your gang-style podcast. Classy....and then you blew it with the shreiking monkey! Kidding, I love the monkey. I love the New England focus and the conversations about gnarly, technical trails. Keep it up!
-
Super Fly RulesI laughed, I cried, I unsubscribed.Just kidding. Good job, you guys.

styles3000Five stars!!!Love you guys! Also.. Because Brian promised to read the comments: If you must cross a coarse, cross cow across a crowded cow crossing, cross the cross, coarse cow across the crowded cow crossing carefully. Irish wristwatch. The sixth sick sheik’s sixth sheep’s sick.Six sleek swans swam swiftly southwards. Irish wristwatch. Irish wristwatch. Irish wristwatch.
-
Runner 456Because I don’t see you guys often enoughIt’s great to hear your voices through my ear buds instead of just in my head at mile 6 (or in my 15th flight up the stairs) where I usually start to choke. Such a fun podcast, highly recommend for runners ultra or not. Thanks for the shout out too.
-
The Real Jimmy MacLove this crew!Art, Jordan, Brian, Stacey & Joe are really awesome folks. You should listen to this podcast. You should listen to all of them.
-
@mynewtrainerThe Cultra PersonalityIf you have an obsession with running & hiking in the woods regardless of time of day/night or current weather conditions... You will find others here who not only support, but encourage this sort of behavior.
