Pipete40Excellent background and facts focusInvesting is a combination of financial analysis and human decisions. Do not you hate loosing money? If you are an investor, this podcast can help to think about the way you make decisions to invest and strategies to keep it rational

dgraziInvesting in CryptocurrencyA little disappointed in the shortsightedness of the recent podcast on crypto. Randy's nutshell list of limitations and risk flat out ignores the human principles and philosophy driving Bitcoin, as if lack of regulation, government oversight and sovereign bans define it, and as if high volitility is a negative. Volitility = life. I also did not understand why he thinks BTC is limited by slow transactions and hefty fees - unless he is talking about other cryptos. It takes longer to transact a buy through a bank than the blockchain! However, good try. Pretty typical perspective from a traditional financial services company.

sdretzRecommend for new investors!I’m in my mid twenties and have been investing bit by bit for years but am now trying to educate myself and dive in more. This is one of the most helpful investing podcasts I’ve listened to- the host breaks down common market phrases and concepts in a way that is easy to digest and implement. I recommend!

miami tigerFinancial DecoderVery enjoyable and helpful.

smileyblairFairThe podcast is good. But personally, I’d like more detail. For example. The Biden stimulus package. As opposed to simply review what I would get in the local news. Give real detail what’s in it. And as opposed to extremely simple answers that would be in a local free paper, give some real possibilities. What’s happened in the past. It’s just a little bit too much glossing over high points.

Tenniswiz58Insightful and PracticalSince it’s inception, I don’t think I have missed an episode. On almost every aspect of financial planning, between Choiceology and Mark Riepe’s Financial Decoder, I learn so much!

terryinCAI love this podcastI am a Charles Schwab customer and stumbled upon this podcast looking for something else. Great information that you don’t need a PhD to understand and great speaking voice from the host. I like the simplicity of the financial advice and the tips to secure your future can be followed immediately.

Beaker92ExcellentA really great podcast for beginners like me. A minor quibble that has little to do with the podcast, but everything to do with Shakespeare. In the latest episode, the host unfairly characterizes Shakespeare as not being "spot on" with his advice about "neither a borrower nor a lender be." Mark is unfortunately confusing author with character. It's not Shakespeare touting that philosophy: it's Polonius, the flawed character he's created. It would be like ascribing homicidal tendencies to Shakespeare because he wrote "Why, I can smile, and murder whiles I smile." That's Richard III claiming that, not Shakespeare.

YodaOfCantonSolid AdviceI’ve been listening to this podcast since it began. The knowledge gained is helpful whether you manage your own investments or if you want to validate the choices of your advisor. The advice is generic, not an advertisement for Schwab.

CC1SteveVery helpful, especially for younger investorsSolid advice about the fundamentals of planning and achieving financial goals. The discussions about the common behavioral pitfalls that undermine achieving these goals is very helpful.

oregonbenefitInsightful, Interesting & Very Helpful!I found Financial Decoder via my other favorite podcast (Choiceology) and haven’t missed an episode of either. Each episode relays extremely helpful insight in a way that’s so relatable, interesting and stays on focus with the topic of that episode. This is helpful to anyone at any stage in their financial planning. Thank you for such valuable content

Steve6974Decoder 3I think it would even be better for the podcast if you see a persons face. I think it’s more personal if you think that person is talking to you and more enjoyable thank you Steve Roberts
