    Volatility is fine
But we may be headed for a very slow increase in the market for the next 10 or so years. If you are 60/40 you can probably ride this out with a 4% withdrawal rate. Sometimes macro strategies can have a disastrous effect on an economy.

    From Accumulating to Spending
While I listen routinely to this podcast and find all interviews to be of value, I feel this one with Christine Benz to be especially useful and applicable. The methodical approach in which she wrote her book and how Casey addressed each one from both an overarching and personal perspective greatly added to this conversation. Each individual issue addressed was pertinent to my current or future situation in some form or fashion so I found it to be quite informative. So thanks to Casey for another great episode. Presenting the possibilities
I am relatively new to this podcast and podcasts in general; however as the topic of retirement has been front and center in my mind for the last several months, I have been exploring various podcasts to further my understanding and education. I have found this podcast different from others as it delves beyond “this is what you should do” and provides differing perspectives and deeper explanations. I also appreciate the episodes that veer from finance and explore other aspects of retirement and life.

    Taxes with Ed Slott
I enjoyed Casey’s interview with Ed as very few people account for taxes when building their retirement portfolio. Highly recommend everyone tune in to this conversation. It could save you tens of thousands of dollars.

    Solid!
I don’t listen to every episode but I enjoy the ones I do. Casey has an easygoing attitude and voice which makes him pleasant to listen to. I especially love his weekly curation of financial articles that he sends to your email and then he goes over one in detail. I have definitely learned a lot from his podcast.

    Awesome content
I am new to this podcast. I just listened to the Ed Slott episode about Roth conversions and it is one of the most valuable podcast episodes I have ever listened to. My kids have asked me for years if they should save with regular or Roth 401ks and I’ve never had a good answer. Until now. It also opened my eyes to what I need to start doing with my own IRAs. Highly recommend!!

    Great retirement podcast
I love the podcast and have listened to over 20 episodes. I really like the mix of financial and non-financial topics. Thanks for doing this.

    Keeps getting better!
I’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year now as I prepare for retirement. The show keeps getting better and better. Lots of good financial advice and short form discussions and article reviews, but the long form, non-financial episodes keep bringing me back. For example—Episode #472 with George Kinder was awesome. Really brought together several concepts that you might thinking about separately. Well done, and keep it up.

    Thought provoking
I started following the podcast about a month ago after reading an article about how the firm added a retirement coach to their team. I’ve listened to over 20 episodes and learned something from each one. I’ve spoken with Les and am considering signing up for a coaching program.

    Awesome!
One of my new fav shows.
  • Pdcharter
    Great all around source.
Retirement guidance with emphasis on “purpose” though it covers so much more. Probably best for those nearing (3-5 years)or just at retirement transitions. Some episodes are “not my thing” but I would expect that when they are trying to cover the broad base of retirement questions and concerns.
  • SteveShef
    Holistic approach to retirement
I started listening to Casey over a year ago. The information and insights are accessible to non-professionals. But, it's obvious that Casey knows what he's talking about. I, especially appreciate how both financial and psychological (and spiritual) issues are included. I only wish I had started listening before I reached my sixties. I've enthusiastically recommended this podcast to several friends and relatives who are at the same stage of life.

    My Go To Podcast
I am 61 years old, and was laid off from my corporate job last year. I am now working as a para professional in an elementary school. This podcast meets me where I’m at in my life right now. Planning for retirement, but not quite ready. Great variety of financial and lifestyle topics. Guests are good too. Casey Weade is a great host. Highly recommend this show. Usually there are two shows per week, which I like. Give this show a try if you’re 55+. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
