    New music episode
While I like hearing about the classic songs and albums from years past, I really enjoyed the episode on “great albums I just realized existed.” It was a fun mix of styles and a nice change of pace to hear some new music. I would love to hear more episodes like this occasionally.

Awesome ep on AIC. I just found this podcast and I’m really enjoying it. I’m on the Smashing Pumpkins ep now which is off to a great start. The spirit in the sky and take on me eps were great as well.

Spirit in the sky - awesome!
Really enjoyed this podcast. So fresh and fun!
  • Nuff said about that
Well researched but with a personal touch
I have learned so much about the making of bands and music through this series. It helps that I share many of her tastes, but I have deepened my appreciation of music I already liked and Justine has also introduced me to different bands that I now follow. I like how she invites guests to round out the back story or add an additional emotional reaction to the music.

    Love it!
Amazing each episode of this podcast can be researched and written in only one week, it’s very well done. Not to be locked into one or two musical genres, the host obviously cares about music spanning many decades, and covers them with love. Tight!

    The best “Behind the Music”
Thanks to Justine’s thorough research and obvious passion for all music, this podcast will open your eyes and ears to new music, as well as shine a new light on music you already love. So good!

    Death Cab episode was great
The episodes are so great. Every time I hear one it gives me new appreciation for songs or even whole albums that I’ve overlooked. The Death Cab episode was especially great, shout out DJ Pie

    Episode 47!!!!!
Episode 47, covering The Carpenters, almost made me cry. I love how the host keeps it real, about what she likes or doesn’t like (Richard’s songs? Meh.) One of my new favorite podcasts.

    Intelligent, wonderful analysis
This podcast has given me so much joy as someone who has a passion for music and song writing. Justine is so bright, she researches the topics with a passion for understanding and accuracy, and she brings on great guests who have specialized knowledge. I have learned so many things from this podcast - I feel much more informed and can enjoy albums in new ways. It feels like the best balance of music clips and talking. Plus, Justine’s voice is extraordinarily pleasant and perfect for a podcast. Some of my favorite episodes are John Mayer, Ween, Jason Isbell, Alanis Morisette, and even the Post Malone episode. Yes, we can even learn something from studying Post Malone!

    Great!
The RADIO GA GA Podcast, a great new addition to my weekly music podcasts. I’ve listened to the Jason Isbell - Southeastern and Arcade Fire - Suburbs episodes, both excellent. Learned a lot about 2 albums that I already love.

A Music Podcast For Nerds and Novices
In short, this is the kind of music content I crave. It's informative, opinionated, and it bridges that gap between the emotional connections we make to music, and the academic side of writing, recording, etc. Even the albums I thought I knew a lot about I end up coming out with a new appreciation for a song or a new historical tidbit. Justine is a patient and dedicated listener, and you can totally hear the passion and work that goes into this show! Highly recommend.

Came for Weezer, stayed for amazing content
Such a great listen! I’ve enjoyed learning about new bands, albums and even instruments I’ve never known much about before. Justine does a great job researching and providing such insight to the albums and songs reviewed. Great guests to bring in unique views and commentary take it to another level. I look forward to each pod and wish nothing but success in the future.

    Great podcast for musicheads!
For the music fan who still appreciates the "album," this is a great podcast to take in and dissect track listings, song structures, and the lyrics from your favorite artists. Just listened to Episode 23: Coldplay, "Parachutes" and really enjoyed hearing about the chord change at the end of "Yellow" and the emphasis on finger scraping in "Parachutes." Looking forward to catching more of these tidbits in past and future episodes. Thanks!

    Awesome Podcast
This is such a great podcast for any music lover - whether you’re really knowledgeable about these bands or you’ve never heard of them, you will be sure to learn something. So much of my music library has been expanded because of this podcast.

Radio gaga has already taught me so much about music!
I absolutely LOVE Radio Gaga podcast. I have always had an appreciation for music, but the depth of knowledge that Justine brings to the table is next level. Her passion for all genres and her genuine interest in diving deep into the why and how of an album, is tantalizing to say the least! I’ll never listen to Grateful Dead or Fleetwood Mac the same again, because of this podcast!!

    Masterpiece
Aja by far is my favorite album ever. This helps my admire it that much more. I knew of some of the backstory of the band and this album. Thanks for diving in deep on this classic. Not everyone loves Steely Dan but they have appreciate this album. Appreciate this podcast more and more each time I listen.

    Backmasking is Creepy and Fascinating
OMG I knew backmasking was a thing. But I never realized how creepy it actually was. This episode was the perfect look into how it all mysteriously works together. Loving the episodes so far!!

    Add this to your rotation!
Track-by-track analysis provides new insight to the songs you love while providing an impetus to re-examine the songs you may have previously skipped. The Postal Service episode was an express train right back to high school!

    Just what I needed
I've been stuck in this sports podcast rut for a year. I'm turning into a modern day version of my father, suffering flashbacks to those long, hot car rides where he refused to use air conditioning and broke a knob off his radio so it could only access his A.M. sports talk. So discovering this podcast has been a great way to bridge the gap back to music. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed listening to an entire album all the way through. The insightful commentary and great anecdotes are so appreciated, I'm a nerd for those deep research tidbits. Keep up the great work!

    So good!
I loved this podcast and all the fun facts about the history of Fleetwood Mac! I first heard Never Going Back Again in a Chipotle and have been obsessed ever since! So excited to hear more episodes! I also love TDR so it was fun to hear Kelly’s take on the album!

    Love this pod
There’s not a ton of intelligent, entertaining podcasts that take an in-depth dive into the music world. So glad Justine started this. Really looking forward to hear more from this podcast!

    I’m all in
The highest compliment I can give this podcast is that it's so good and interesting that I listened to it on 1x speed versus my standard 2x. Can’t wait for the next episode.
