-
Maroonknight20New Favorite PodcastRecovering from an injury, and this podcast has enriched my definition of wellness. It's also a great motivator and means of connecting with some of my favorite Nike athletes--many of whom I followed + respected before finding the gym.
-
viviwasdenBring Back RyanThis used to be my #1 favorite podcast to learn from the best experts and athletes out there, the new format and host is not the same.
-
ch1cgoWhat happened?New host seems great but I prefer Ryan. I liked how the content was strictly focused on fitness. All this new stuff helps but I liked the old “format” of the show better. Sometimes I go back and listen to the old episodes😕
-
outmidwestWent downhillUsed to be about training and learning now it’s about social issues and woke agenda not a good listen anymore and for that I no longer follow the pod.
-
JJHJR25Not the sameWhere did the other host go?
-
gazi8989GarbageThis ain’t a fitness podcast anymore.
-
Brandon 337What a changeThe show used to be great, now it’s just hard to listen to. I’m all for learning and talking about the social issues that we humans face, but that is not what a Nike podcast should be about. And at one point it was about learning how to be the best athlete you can be from the best athletes. Now it’s more geared towards women and interviewing women who have wrote a book about something jac finds interesting. Not very universal anymore.

buddha1218Changed from Physical Fitness to Mental HealthThis Trained podcast has changed so much. Started listening a while ago because I enjoyed hearing health/sports/fitness experts talk about findings and techniques for exercise. It has since turned in to a mental health in sports podcast. Which is fine if that is what you are looking for but that’s not what I came here for. It’s odd because they even promoted a separate podcast about mental health. Why are they doing MH here too?

EytzUsed to be a Top podcast for those who want to growUpdate: the new host and format is not strong and does not focus on actual training. It’s more focused on contemporary issues through the lens of Nike-sponsored pro athletes. Bring back the old format! One star. Ryan is a great no nonsense host with real experience and incredible guests. Has helped keep me motivated during my work week and workouts. Five stars.

Sd49827Used to be about TrainingThis used to be my favorite podcast when it was centered around fitness, athletes and recovery… it’s changed
-
newtothemomlifeGreat!Great podcast, love the topics, but do prefer the previous host and wish the topics were more fitness centered again.
-
Maui0601Please bring Ryan back or find a new hostBeen a fan of the podcast but the current host (Jaclyn) is ruining it. The show has great guests, but the host needs to learn how to host. The show is not about jacklyn and needs to learn to stop talking and allow the guest (the person we want to hear) to speak and stop being interrupted when speaking great things!
-
agreinkeNot about fitnessThis show is more about bringing on a famous person than actual fitness or nutrition basis. Jac is a downgrade.
-
Mass_BikerA must for everyoneThis show will up your health and fitness game no matter your sport or fitness level or expertise.
-
9090ceaardBring Ryan backThe podcast isn’t as good as it was when hosted
-
Evan CheliniGreat show!!Thankful to have this great show getting solid guests and information out!!
-
IcecoldkenShow has changedI liked this show and it motivated me to be healthier, but lately the show seems to have become less about fitness. I haven't finished an episode in a while bc it seems more like a self improvement show than one I can learn about fitness and be motivated by. Kind of bummed by the change in direction
-
tricepsfordayzNot anymoreNot into new host.
-
FitnessAlexMiss Ryan! This new host is not it. Stop trying to be so woke Nike. Get Ryan back!
-
dancingfajitasWompersI miss Ryan. The quality has gone down
-
Naples momFavorite showThis is such a REAL show! I love listening and get some great inspiration. I love the host and the questions he asks. I am super picky about what I can listen to, and this show always captivates me. Thank you
-
canonsburg1234Inspiring!Love this show! I listen to it whenever I need motivation. The topics are all really interesting, the guests are fantastic and varied. Definitely recommend!
-
Wizzo75Great Info. Terrible Host.Interesting topics and very in-depth information. The host drives me up the wall. He can't stop himself from interrupting guests with his little comments and his endless variety of "Hmm's." Less host and more guest would equal 5 stars.
-
milesToGo21Totally recommend to everyoneOne of the podcasts that has helped me deal with the pandemic. A great selection of guests who give very real suggestions that can be implemented in everyday life. Ryan is a great host- very respectful and asks the right questions!
-
spiderfighter5171Superb StuffWould recommend to any athlete.
-
Unusable with adshighly recommend!I love how the host actually listens to his guests and doesn’t interrupt them! He has real experience and I love all the guests. He asks really good questions and I love that it’s science based but easy to understand . I’ve absorbed information from this amazing podcast! Thank you!!
-
MadsssThis podcast changed my life!!Okay not to be dramatic but this is my favorite podcast EVER! Ryan is a great host - informative but not pedantic annoying (which for a sport/health podcast is a rarity). The experts and athletes they bring on have charm and enthusiasm and that totally resonants with the listener. If you want to align your mindset with your workout habits or just learn more about the relationship between fitness, mindset, and overall health, please listen!
-
WestylynnMental WellnessJohn Donahoe’s interview is a game changer. Lots of takeaways from the interview. He was vulnerable, authentic and mindful.
-
KevinBGIBest podcast everI don’t really right reviews but I honestly think this is the best podcast ever. Well presented and the topics are always interesting. Great job keep it up.
-
JN040715Great showLove the variety of content this show covers!
-
2Andy3Hypocritical start to the interviewI’m waiting for you guys to interview Mary Cain. I didn’t hear any problem talking about the former CrossFit owner and his terrible behavior. What about Nike?
-
Xanphia18Best Podcast EverI’ve never felt so motivated and wiser from just a few hours of a podcast
-

sara_greg_Love it!Very motivation as an athlete and want to be trainer! I love listening to this at the gym, runs or just day to day life. I have learned SO much and love how down to earth and realistic it is. Thanks you!

-
jennycee7Five Stars all the wayEvery podcast is so informative, inspiring and with the perfect durations to be able to listen on your next ride to work or training session. Ryan is excellent, his guests are next level, and the topics are really needed. Thanks Nike & Ryan!
-
mnh.klpLove the topics and the questions Ryan asks!Love this podcast as it broadens my knowledge base to include more than purely physical activity and shifted my thinking about ‘movement practices’. I began my path in healthcare/wellness as I decided to return to school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant 10 years. I have a chair yoga cert, a 200 hr yoga cert, and now am enrolled in an integrative nutrition health coach program with my ultimate goal to be NBHWC certified. I binge on your podcast during long walks and go into withdrawal waiting for the next season!!! I would love to hear a show that explores the role of Health Coaching in holistic/functional medicine, as all the topics discussed on the how relate to similar things we study in the coaching program such as nutrition, sleep, movement, mindfulness, etc. Thank you for continuing this work during the pandemic. Gives me something to look forward to that is positive and aligns with my future goals.
-
NatKat2Always LearningThis podcast always surprises me at what new information or perspective I can learn! Interviews are done in an informative and practical way. I highly recommend this podcast!
-
RBud24Unlocking the Body & MindI’ve recommended this podcast to friends, family and acquaintances from a podcast as a whole as well as specific episodes that address problems they’re experiencing. Love the way it had given me the ability to open my mind towards previous methods of training I have been taught. What I find most beneficial are the nutritional and mindful episodes. Both topics are simplified by experts in a world of social media doctors who tend to complicate them. Excited for the next season! Thank you, Ryan!
-
pandacnMust listen for everyone!I only recently discovered this app, and already I listened to all the episodes this season and working my way through all the seasons starting from the beginning. I’ve been casually following some of these training topics separately and sporadically, such as optimal sleep, mindset/meditation, nutrition, etc., and I’ve even been using the NTC app, but I’ve yet to find a single place where all the facets of training are covered in such a concise, coherent manner, including interviews with world-renowned experts in each of these areas...until discovering Trained! Literally there hasn’t been a single episode thus far where I haven’t learned anything. I’m not a professional athlete and I don’t work in the fitness industry, I’m just personally a fitness fanatic. Highly recommend! I wish the episodes are actually longer.
-
Soccergirl428Dr. Robin BerzinThank you so much for talking about functional medicine! I discovered this several months ago while trying to recover from an injury and it changed my life. This type of care should receive much more attention. Everyone deserves this kind of attentive and thorough care, where they can finally learn what is going on in their body and how to become holistically healthy again.
-
ARJohn1994Adds ValueI’m always learning something new that applies to me and my life. Greatly enjoy the podcast and highly recommend it for anyone seeking personal growth in general.
-
TarinaModelinaRyan is the best host!I love learning from the best in the game! Ryan addresses the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of training for your best performance on and off the field, athlete or not. Thank you Ryan for your great commentary and inspiration!
-
RochellerosenLove the holistic approachI love all these episodes talking about everything related to trainning, fitness in a more holistic and complete approach, because everything is connected. bringing experts not only gives credibility but we learn a lot from them in an informal approach. I like the way Ryan brings it to Common life situations and makes it easier to apply that on our day to day life!
-
HungryForResults, MS RD CSSDPregnancy let downWas so excited for this episode but the nutrition discussion was so disappointing. How about getting an actual dietitian on to discuss this topic bc prenatal nutrition is very involved and your audience wants to hear more than ‘eat plants and you’ll be fine’. Also one of the biggest topics pregnant athletes deal with is struggle with the changes in weight and body. That was barely addressed.
-
SesameDActually really goodI was kind of skeptical that this would be good since it’s sponsored by Nike, but it’s actually great. There’s a lot of nuggets of wisdom in each episode and it’s got a super positive focus. It’s media that actually makes me feel good when I listen to it.
-
pacnwtrailmasterI laughed and I learnedThe conversations are thoughtful and can help anyone take a fresh perspective on living their best life.
-
KaylaMaddox23This podcast is a game changerI am a personal trainer and this has been such a huge assist for me and my clients. I also coach soccer and gymnastics and this has helped me train my athletes in a much more lucrative way. I love the latest research this podcast covers! Can’t wait for more!
