Even if you don't like Hallmark movies you will want to watch them and see how crazy an 82 minute movie can be when they only have 65 minutes to film it. Jeb and Dave and friends are so funny and smart and the show is just the best.

This is my favorite podcast to hear former Sec. Robert McNamara, shirtless-man/brain pill salesman Alex Jones, Angry DJ Casey Kasem, Randy “Macho Man” Savage, and sports knower Mike Francesa come together to discuss Canadian character actors fall in love with former child actresses while saving hotels and bringing back festivals outside of Vancouver and Ontario, CA.

I’ve never actually seen a Hallmark movie, but I can say with some certainty this is the top notch analysis of the oeuvre available in podcast form. Twitter’s Jeb Lund and David J Roth break down the fundamentals: tropes, performance reviews, and most importantly the relationship of the films to food. They also appreciate the nuanced performances and finer plot points that only experienced analysts would notice. These are 9 to 5, lunchpail Hallmark guys, not flashy hip-hop Hallmark guys. And I should add this is very funny and the chemistry between Jeb and David, and occasional color commentator Sara Kate makes it a joy to listen to. This podcast is a must listen! Dave, Jeb, and guests are fantastic and hilarious. From Sara Kate’s sweet southern charm, Jeb’s Macho Man Randy Savage impression, the great folks from Extra Hot Great, Dave’s Casey Kasem impression, Karen Geier criticizing Hallmark baking techniques, this podcast is everything you are looking for and more! No need to watch the movie but if you do it’s like MST3K for the movies made for the gentlest of people.

Dave and Jeb are genuinely the two smartest guys on the web and they ought to be on every podcast. Alas we’ll settle for this and a few others. But this is the keystone.

I’ve never seen a Hallmark film and I never intend to, but these guys are smart and sweet and funny and it’s just surprisingly nice to hear them be smart, sweet, funny friends with each other within the framework of reviewing these movies.

Pat Blanchfield - helluva toboggan ride! The hosts’ riff on Diane’s token emotional labor in “A/The Perfect Pairing” speaks to so much else, and so precisely.

There are two types of live fiction TV that Americans watch: CBS shows called like “FBI: Tampa” and Hallmark. No one understands the second like my two beautiful sons, Jeb! and Dave, and their more accomplished guests.

If you shamefully love Hallmark than you will absolutely love this!

This podcast has no business being this good

This podcast has single handedly made my quarantine mildly bearable. I feel like I’m laughing about dumb movies with my buddies Dave and Jeb which makes the work from home isolation slightly less terrifying.

I love listening to goofballs take dumb TV too seriously and tell me about it, so this Hallmark movie discussion podcast is perfect for me. Without this podcast I never would have seen Pumpkin Pie Wars, the best worst movie of all time.

Just an absolute delight to listen to two of the funniest people on the planet review movies I’ve never seen, and will definitely never see.

It’s very funny and they host have good chemistry

i tried an episode based on good reviews. i dont know where these reviews come from but its not funny i didnt laugh at all and ended it way early due to bordom.

There is something so wholesome about two friends making each other laugh about the banalities of weird and/or bad Hallmark movies. Bravo.
