I just found the show after a previous Braves podcast I listened to went away. I am very happy with Locked On Braves! I listen every day and look forward to each episode. Thank you for the constant Braves news in my ears!

Great podcast! Listen every morning on way to work

Great show and reliable.

This podcast would be better if he had weekly guests for discussion than always going solo. Also, you have to wait for him to read folks that are online live. He constantly repeats himself throughout the podcast making the same points he already mentions earlier in the podcast, so the podcast could probably be shorter. I listen to get news but sometimes I just cut it off early because it gets boring.

Jake is a reasonable and informative voice I can always count on for Braves news

Edit has gotten better. Added a star. Still have to fast forward to 3 min marker to actually get content after all the fluff. Locked On needs to chill on the promos it’s way to much. Half the show is promos it’s not a good look.

I wonder if one explanation for the Braves inability to deliver in the post season has something to do with them playing nearly every game normally - unusual in today’s game. The time off might have been especially affective for them. Remember they had to get back on track after the ASG, too. Obviously this doesn’t explain everything, just an interesting thought.

All of the MLB, including Mets fans, jumped on the Philly bandwagon. Reds fans, Cubs fans, O's fans and Angels fans, because your team is THAT whiny and unlikable. Not to mention the overt racism. Please bring all of those losers back and find out a third time. Can't believe this podcast generates ad revenue. Pathetic sports town. Pathetic fanbase. Pathetic franchise.

I am a Braves fan and the Braves are amazing I always like watching their games and this show keeps me updated about the Braves. Jake does a great job keep up the great work, I like it when grant comes on the show and they talk about the Braves. I listen to this when I’m playing outside and I listen to 2 episodes or more a day so I play outside for 1 hour +. Thank you guys for making this show so good keep up the great work.

I watch a lot of teams locked on show that play the Braves. Several of them are good but Mastroianni’s is the best.

Love the pod! When it seems like mlb pods avoid talking about the Braves (the best team in baseball) it nice to have a go to! Jake does a great job breaking down the good and the bad! I am an everydayer!

It sounds as if there is a metronome playing throughout the podcast. It could be non my end somehow, but haven’t gotten the same thing on any other audio. In case it’s y’all, thought you’d want to know. Keep up the good work and Go Braves!!!!!!!

Jake is good but Grant is really the only other person that comes on the show, record a episode or two with maybe other locked on Jose or something

This is probably the worst Braves pod I’ve listened to and I’ve tried just about all of them. The podcast episodes with Grant are a little more interesting, but overall it just doesn’t seem like Jake is a Braves fan. He has no excitement in his voice. It’s just one boring “gear” that’s he’s in at all times. Also, there are no hot takes, and there is no meaningful analysis to be found. These are both essential for a quality sports podcast to keep it fresh and interesting. It basically amounts to this, Jake will say, “It’s great to see Arcia heating up again” but he won’t go into detail about peripherals like exit velo or launch angle, or perhaps better plate discipline. The podcast is just blanket statements about the “what” instead of the “how” and “why”. Although it only airs once weekly, I would strongly recommend checking out the flagship show on battery power. It is so much better than this.

Love getting to listen to the podcast especially after games I can’t watch. Just wish Jake would quit saying “again” so much…

Far too frequent ad reads make the show a no for me. No flow and not interesting enough to stick around. Locked On makes it hard to listen to any podcast because of the intrusive ad reads. Used to listen to Grant on every episode of From the Diamond.

Adding Jake to the show was a great choice and he had a great voice and made good points!

Content is great, but with all of the ads and network tout there’s only about 10 minutes of it.

Good content. Awkward delivery. The host has trouble pronouncing words, has weird syllable emphasis and pauses mid-sentence. Maybe this is something that just doesn’t come natural, but it makes this podcast really difficult to listen to.

Mannn this dude is boring. Wasn’t he a brewers fan? Is he even a braves fan? He is so hard to listen to. Poor replacement for Dylan.

This podcast was great in 2020-2021, with Dylan Short running it. Now, it’s the young guy from the Tomahawk Take podcast. I had to unfollow that podcast… DURING A PLAYOFF RUN because of how much of a bore it was. Now this guy has brought that over to locked on. Your better off following Talkint Chop, 755 is real and The Platinum Sombrero. No personality, no charisma, paint drying boredom, sorry just had to say it.

Going from a host who is emotive and expressive (not to mention an actual Braves fan) to one who sounds bored by the sound of his own voice is difficult for listeners to the show. With the change in personnel, this podcast went from “must-listen” to “only if there’s no other Braves content”. Locked on podcasts have this weird segmented format with too many commercials than the content being produced deserves anyway, but at least with Dylan Short as host it was a podcast to look forward to. Maybe with time Jake will get better, or maybe we’ll get a new host soon.

Sam does a great job on his podcast breaking everything down in the Braves dugout. This was a great collaboration between the two podcasts. John from Movie Lovers Unite.

The whole theme of the locked on network is your team every day. Why are there only like 1 or two per week? Sometimes none at all

I really enjoy the content and the host, but I just don’t understand the process for when they release episodes. Why do you release an episode that functionally recaps the previous two games an hour before the next night’s game. A lot of the analysis will just be totally different. I can only listen when an episode is released before an off day

This guy REALLY loves Huascar Ynoa. I mean Ynoa is good but there’s other pitchers man lol

The host just annoys me! I like other Locked On shows and love the Braves. However, the host is way too opinionated. Not only is he opinionated but he will make sure that he lets you know he knows best. Please find a better host and someone who actually records daily episodes like the locked on network states they do.

Excellent podcast. The analysis and enthusiasm is great. Glad I found this pod.

These short deep dives are great if you missed a game or recent series. The consistency of a show everyday isn’t always there but I cannot imagine the difficulty in preparation, recording, editing, and uploading everyday... so though I wish it was everyday, I am beyond grateful for the work he puts into it.
