Stefanie really dives into our brains work, and why would behave the way we do. I think the science behind it is so interesting. I’m learning more and more every day.

    Mind reset.
Ive been looking for such a long time for a good podcast to help me rewire my brain and understand myself and why are we the way we are, other people behavior and etc. I wasn’t sure of what exactly I needed to listen to but this is it. Ive listened to so many podcasts and this is the absolute best, the way she explains everything, every detail, how deep she digs into information, the pace of her voice, how clear she talks and how everything is explained and makes it easier to understand a topic that is so complex and theres so many branches, yet she covers a lot without feeling like is too much to process. i start my day with her podcast and is a game changer. Please keep the episodes coming. I feel like this is a way of therapy since it gives a lot of information about the human mind and mechanisms and you work with it under your own system ❤️‍🩹

    Love Her Show!
Hit play, pause, switch to Notes on my iPhone, write notes, resume playing the show, pause, write more notes. That’s how good this show is! The interviews are great, and I really like her briefing the neuroscience topics before the interview starts. It gives me context that I can play with, while listening to the interview. The Music breaks seem to follow a “learning pace” that buffer the topics and help with my retention and reflection of what I just learned. 👍👍 She is an excellent source for helping me write my curriculum and articulate to my clients (in a way that makes sense) the “mental aspects” of survival. Awesome work! Thank you 🙏

    Wonderfully nerdy and useful!
I love understanding more of how the brain works, and Stephanie brings a fascinating perspective as a biological neuroscientist and a counseling practitioner. She addresses human behaviors and needs from multiple perspectives, from how we are wired, our learned behaviors, our drive to address our wounds, and our needs for socializing, contact, approval, and play. “Hey baby, wanna get together and coregulate?“ The first two seasons went deep in supporting practitioners, and as an individual on a personal growth path they weren’t an exact match for me, although they still offered a lot of value. I’ve just completed the second episode of the third season and I’m excited to have found virtually all of the content directly applicable to my personal growth path.

    Excellent podcast
This podcast has been an excellent addition to my life. My life has been touched by so many of things she discusses. If you have challenges understanding trauma’s, moral injury, anxieties, depression, and attachment then this is a podcast you ought to listen to. Her perspective is one that is based on neuroscience and is still compassionate as it’s obvious she has dealt personally with people who have had challenges getting to the root of their issues. It’s been great to hear her speak using science to point to the hope people should have as they tackle issues in their lives that are seemingly overwhelming. Thank you Stefanie!

    Excellent
I was suggested to listen to this podcast by Mike Glover. I have been recently rated by the VA for PTS from the Gulf War and this has been very informative on how the brain works and reacts to threats as trauma. Very informative and in terms that are understood. I’m currently working with a psychiatrist this last year with the VA who has been phenomenal in my sessions and this podcast is right in line with what I have been working on to live better quality of life with this condition. Thank You for work in doing this podcast.

    Artfully Executed Neuroscience
I stumbled upon Stefanie’s podcast years ago, and to this day, it’s the most insightful and invaluable material I’ve come across. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve re-listened to her episodes, and how each time, I emerge with a new layer of understanding and deep acceptance for my own and others’ neurological responses. Her eloquence, delivery, and structure are all intentionally and thoughtfully constructed, and she provides a succinct platform to deeply understand our nervous system, reactions, the impact of voice and environment, and the reality of humans as creative, growth-oriented beings with swathes of sound science and research to further your knowledge. I’m beyond grateful for this work.

    Highly valuable
I’ve been following Stefanie and her work for years. I was introduced to her work at a workshop when I was a special ed teacher. I immediately was fascinated and at the time felt called to embody growth mindset myself before trying to teach it to children. I attended many of her weekend incentives and also masterminds. Her podcast and content have great value! Especially if you are in any role of authority and leadership. These are practices that I have learned, embodied and now also teach my clients as an entrepreneur. Highly recommend!

    Perfect for Coaching
I love this podcast! I use it professionally as an instructional coach and have sound that the information is very helpful when working with teachers and supporting their practices with students. I also use the concepts provided here (and on the YouTube Channel) to support my work as a professional development facilitator. Last, this podcast has proven surprisingly valuable in my personal life as I seek to self-regulate and become more aware of what is happening with feelings vs. emotions. Absolutely one of the best finds in terms of clear, accessible content.

    Why I keep coming back...
Over the past 2 years, I have attended several of Stefanie’s workshops ranging from large group presentations to small group intensives. I keep coming back because Stefanie is one of the most engaging thinkers I have met. In her work, she is making connections that few if any others are between subjects as diverse as myth and neuroscience, trauma and smartphones, and maybe most importantly, growth mindset and social justice. In a world where most people who are using the growth mindset are actually peddling a rebranded version of the “bootstrap mentality” and where activists are dismissing it as a result, Stefanie does the important work of calling out the misappropriation of growth mindset, properly contextualizing it in a way that fully incorporates environment and safety, and reframing it in a way that fills it once again with hope. Stefanie has been an invaluable resource both professionally and personally. Her work informed much of my approach to behavior and learning as I began my teaching career, has helped me to personally heal from deep-seated wounds I didn’t know I had, and given me a clearer direction for where I want to go next. There are many times I have wanted to transport someone to one of Stefanie’s workshops. That may still be impossible, but this podcast allows me to do something much closer. I will be sharing this far and wide. I look forward to hearing the conversations that will take place in the second season.
