juannacho827Verbal DiarrheaThe guy talks bout how great of a listener he is then goes on a solo rant about caddying at a Major and proceeds to talk about what it’s like to caddie at a major for 3 minutes of a 40 minute podcast.

SavageauI miss the old episodesMy old review is attached below. Erik’s content is the best, he has a curiosity of the game that is received well by the audience and is unlike other golf content out there. I feel like I haven’t been listening to the pod as much since Jojo took over as producer. He contributes way too much when it’s both him and also with interviews. I just prefer Erik and the older episodes than the ones since Jojo arrived. I’m so thankful I found this podcast. It’s so nice to have a golf podcast that also talks about so many interesting topics. I’ve binged every episode of the pod and the YouTube channel, and I admire Erik as a person and his mission for making golf more inclusive with the RGC community. My interest for golf only grew founder upon this discovery last year during my first year of actually playing. I didn’t realize how much I could love this sport. I can’t wait for more episodes to be released!

KevinAcheFUN.Can’t get enough of this show. Love the approach of EAL and his team - always am learning something, encourages, and reminded that golf was invented for everyone to have fun. This is my go-to podcast for work travel and backyard cigars.
-
krissy_nardoniDifferent golf lensI subscribe to all the main golf podcasts, EAL always has a different take and gets me inspired to play. My favorite episode is the interview with Iona.
-
fhf_listenerBest Show in GolfI’m a longtime RGCer and biased, but Erik puts the EAL in REAL. Most authentic voice in golf!

240SlideshotOddly awesomeAfter many years of thoroughly encapsulated by AIG and the many other amazing content Erik has put out on YouTube I finally looked up his podcast. First off I love hearing a good F bomb. Sorry but that little E next to an episode just spells joy to me. Not only for having a juvenile brain but it means everyone will be speaking freely and open. That’s the true nature of what I love about this podcast. It’s like being in a nice private lounge and having these in-depth conversations with a plethora of different individuals. On top of the very comical or impromptu just Erik talking episodes little updates that feel more like sharing a cup of coffee rather then just him blurting out his life. Basically it all feels as real as it actually is. I smile when I listen

Ryanw83Getting oldThis guys shtick is so lame.

kehdhsjduAugusta National EpisodeCame to listen to Erik talk about playing ANGC and couldn’t force myself to listen to the podcast. Content was alright, but I don’t know why he insists on eating his cookies and drinking coffee right in the microphone. The constant gulping and chewing noises made it quite literally impossible to continue listening.

MollyM614!!!Loved the episode with Brad Wilson. Very refreshing and eye opening to a big issue in the golf community. My favorite episode yet!
-
LA - MandyNew listener!Just listened yesterday for the first time and wow! Bradford has such a fresh perspective. He was an absolute pleasure to listen to. Hope to hear more from him!

Chapstick15Brand NewJust now starting this show, obviously way late. Love listening to this! Erik just seems like a cool guy that anyone could hang out with.

AllanRobertsonThe outsider became an insider and it all went downhillWhen I first heard Erik on another podcast a few years ago, I was intrigued. He was a golf outsider who was genuine and curious. I told all my friends and co-workers about his show Adventures in Golf. It was great seeing golf brought back to the common man/woman and hear the stories that reminded us we are all essentially outsiders playing this great game. Yet, over the years, I’ve seen Erik become part of the clique. He schmoozes with the PGA Tour pros and golf social media influencers. His posse shows up with an attitude that they’re edgier, anti-establishment, and going to shake up golf media with their LA culture. It’s all overdone and I feel like Erik has lost his identity. All his videos have the same look, drone shot after drone shot and telling us how little sleep he’s gotten because of the many flights he’s taken in the last month. It feels like he’s more concerned with checking off every country on his personal list rather than connecting with stories and people (do it for the gram). I was especially turned off when he had Kevin Chapell on the show and asked him how he felt about men’s only clubs. Chapell replied, “sometimes it’s nice to say, no you can’t come.” Erik preaches equality, especially when it comes to women on his podcast, yet he didn’t question Chappel’s comment. That and the comments trashing Golf Channel after hundreds of employees were laid off left a bad taste in my mouth. Erik is no longer the guy I respect, and because of that, I’m out ✌🏻

DiscsAreAliveErik is fantastic! Must listen!I love this show, it’s funny, entertaining and Erik reminds me a lot of myself ! Can’t wait to catch up

Bins14When commerce kills contentI used to love this podcast. Now it’s basically continuous ads.
-
zt13Good podcast, WAY TOO MANY ADSLove the actual content, but can’t we have a few shorter ad breaks versus one huge chunk of ads in a row? Listening to the road trip check in and there was over 10 minutes in a row of ad reads. Really a buzzkill.
-
orv54656Ads are a bit ridiculousYour ad/content ratio isn’t great brother
-
ztwestGreat YouTube videosInteresting podcast
-
UBM_FashionThe voice...Love the pod and everything you do for the game. That being said, the horrible voices you do kill it for me. You have a great speaking voice. Use it...
-
Andy1288MehPros: Snowball, drone footage on YouTube Cons: Erik’s whole shtick, just doesn’t make me laugh even though I try so hard to like it
-
diverblue11Not the bestNot the best
-
ForembcSolid pod, but....Starting off with 9 min of advertising?
-
Kurtis BlanchardGreat pod, but...I can’t say I’ve ever come across a podcast with 5-6 minutes of advertisements right out of the gate.

Golf207Long Time Listener - First Time ReviewBeen a fan since the only video on your YouTube channel was considered "Not a Golf Show". I really respect all the work you put into your craft and the impact you have made on golf. When the random people I get paired up with yell out “Ace Cam” on a par 3 I know I’m in for a great round of golf surrounded by like minded people. Keep on making incredible content, i’m hoping to see more projects like “A Brief History of the Open” in the future, i’ve watched it a few times with friends and the moment you share with Tom Watson always hits me in my feels! Maybe I will catch ya at an RGC sometime in the future.

DbeatdanoGreat interviews and a unique perspective on golfI started listening to this podcast a couple years ago and one episode that really stuck out to me was Erik's hole by hole story of his round at Augusta. I listened to it with the interest of a novel in audible. His interviews are very relaxed and candid and his questions are always interesting and not run of the mill. Always a fantastic listen.

Coach Dave TFTSPSThanks for opening upErik, Thank you for sharing your self, both personal & golf journey's. I'm 37 years sober myself so I can relate to some extent. I've retired from my profession in medicine & education. I'm now sharing my love of the game with kids as a TFT Coach. I can't agree more that golf is about the people we meet and share the experiences with.

Boom Chaka lackaDear Erik, Thank youErik has created the epitome of something that I want to listen every single day! I love the pod, and being a high schooler I wouldn’t usually like podcasts but this one just hits different. Thanks so much for all of the great content my guy!

Evan RogueFinallyFinally someone in golf who is not a nerd. Love this podcast. An honest, down to earth podcast on all things golf. Super thoughtful and interesting. The YouTube channel is fire too. Really appreciate someone with some creative sense in the golf scene. 👍🏼⚡️

RobinG67Best Podcast in GolfErik has changed my outlook on golf in the most positive way. I miss the 2 episodes a week but more YouTube content is cool as well. I hope to play in a RGC in Michigan someday soon.

TheNoHatNoSalutePodcastLong time watcher, first time listenerJust wanted to say that I have either been a fan of golf or a golfer since I was 17. My first clubs were some golden bears from Walmart that had about the stiffness of a wet spaghetti noodle but I immediately fell in love with the game. I’ve watched dozens of your YouTube videos and I’m so glad that I found out about your podcast. I deployed twice to Afghanistan as a soldier and two more times as a contractor. I would at least bring one golf club on every deployment just so I could break up the monotony of being away from my family. Just wanted to say keep up the good work, buddy. You’re fighting the good fight and helping people get through some tough days. If you are ever around Nashville, hit me up. I am the host of The No Hat No Salute Podcast. It would be awesome to play nine with you and get a short interview. Again, keep up the good work and keep it off the fairway. Everybody knows the fun shots are in the woods.

Oasis3270Be the ballLove the mix of people interviewed, but love to have the chat more organic and have eric less concerned with reading off questions from an index card.

G 2E(Former) PGA Approved!Erik, I just started tuning in to the podcast two weeks ago and watched AIG today for the first time... As a former PGA Director of instruction, I have a couple thoughts: 1. Your delivery and approach make your story/life a joy to be a part of on a weekly basis. Making the game approachable is something that few in the highest ranks of golf have been able to achieve... Including coaches like myself. Congrats! 2. What do you normally shoot now when not filming and are engaged in the round? Your move looks too well rounded to shoot some of the numbers you say on AIG. Last thing- Caddyshack book episode was absolute gold! You didn’t read the book and still unpacked an engaging conversation. -Greg

AlaskaZachLet’s play a round in Alaska?!Hey Erik! I found Adventures in Golf last year and I was hooked. It’s refreshing to see someone, with your style and take on golf, putting out Golf content. I found my love for golf last season and watching your videos motivates me even more to get out and play! This spring, I came across your podcast and I’ve been listening to it non-stop at the office. Love it! It’s a great show because you talk Golf, but also include so many other topics that I think people can relate to.Thanks for putting out cool stuff and doing what you do! I’d love to play a round of Golf with you up here in Alaska—maybe do a podcast episode here? Have a great week!

NelsonGangGreat content in this podcastHi Erik, I really enjoyed your podcast with Andy Staples. Golf podcasts (and podcasts in general) are often too long. But your podcast with Andy left me wanting more. Thanks for putting this podcast out there. I sure enjoyed it. Gary

BTrentOC78One of my favoritesI honestly can’t remember how I came across Erik but I am so glad I did. His passion for golf and calming presence are just two of the things I enjoy about his podcasts. Be sure to subscribe to his You Tube channel!
-
gaffs82Love Erik’s videos but...... podcast is a little weak. Interviews are fine, but Erik rambling and talking to his dog is difficult to listen to.
-
Nashville TomErik and GeoffTwo of my favorite people in golf! Kindred spirits talking about how to improve, make more accessible, golf. I enjoyed listening to them talk and really enjoyed their pledge to improve public golf in LA. Now if we can get something going here in TN. Okay, Sweetens Cove is our intro into this club. I’m rooting for these guys to make something like this in LA. Keep it up guys. You’re both great!
-
The Great Corn-JulioWhat a great podcast!I’m just starting out with this podcast but I’m really, really enjoying it. If you like golf and listening to a very interesting person talk about golf, life and everything in between then check this podcast out!

Mphilly004Great Podcast! From a 21 year old college student who picked up golf just 4 years ago who plays it for the fun of the game, I really appreciate everything this podcast has helped me through. I play golf to get my mind off things and have fun with friends and when I’m not playing, I love to listen to this podcast! My longtime girlfriend had recently ended things and this podcast has motivated me and put me in a stronger state of mind! Thanks Erik for sharing your stories and experiences and spreading this great game! Ohh and Vice golf balls are the best I’ve ever used and there golf towels and dope and I’ve been introducing a lot of people to that brand! - Matthew Phillips

buckeyedude007Don’t Forget to Enjoy Golf or LifeErik is an amazing man. His ability to draw in everyone and bring out insights in each and every guest is unrivaled! Sometimes when I golf, I get upset because I don’t execute the shot I want or I’m just not playing well. But Erik, through this pod and his other endeavors, has taught me to never forget that golf is just a game. And just like life, the most important thing is to always have fun. So sometimes in those angry moments on the course, I remind myself, hey Erik always looks like he’s having fun out there. And it keeps me sane and centered and happy! Listen to this pod and let him do the same for you!

Teamcarp72Stop the paleo cookiesNot really just for Craig T Nelson because the sound of him smacking his mouth during the pod cast was like nails on a chalkboard other than that I absolutely love this podcast

Ethan.moreThe Reason I Listen to Podcasts!I've watched lots of adventures and golf and golf is my favorite thing in the world. I always pictured podcasts as something old people listen to. Like just go watch tv or youtube. But, when I found out that Erik had a podcast I had to go listen. Now i put it on whenever i'm at the range on my own or doing work. I started from the beginning so i still have a lot to catch up on but as of now i'm listening for an hour or two a day and it's one of the greatest things i've heard in my life.

camclark113Keep doin what you do!Erik is a person the game of golf deserves. From his video content to his podcast, he stays true to who he is. Keep it going, brotha!

Justt_a_manI didn’t know people like Erik existed.I am a 24 year old male and I just got into golf June 2018. From my first round of pitch n putt I became completely enamored with the game. I can confidently say that the introduction of Adventures in Golf and the Erik Lang Podcast into my life helped stoke the flame which was my burning desire to learn about golf. Before Erik, learning about Golf meant hearing about rules , course reviews for places I’ll most likely never go to , and pitches for golf gear I could never afford. Thanks to Erik I know am learning about the impact golf has had on his own life and the life of his guests , the lessons golf has to teach us in life, and how to make the most out of every golf experience. I never knew a golf content creator such as Erik existed and from the moment I discovered his content I gained a new appreciation and perspective on my journey into the great game of golf. I also appreciate how Erik responds to my instagram messages and even mentions some of what we discussed on his podcast. I felt like I made it onto the show. Maybe one day I will. Looking forward to on day meeting Erik in person. I am glad I took the time out of my day to write this review for a man I truly believe deserves all the praise I could offer. PEACE

shadyman04John O’HurleyThis podcast in my opinion was the best I’ve heard so far. Great work!

-steveandersonAs rare as an albatrossAs someone who is absolutely flooded with golf news, interviews, history lessons, and recaps it is so refreshing to hear Erik’s views on golf and life in general. Erik delivers his podcast in such an honest and raw way that is so rare in the golf and entertainment world today. He is doing incredible things to grow the game of golf and it is so much fun being able to listen to these podcasts. I listen to each one with a mixed batch of jealousy and admiration for the adventures he has in this world of golf.
