I probably would give this a 3 star rating for audio quality, for content, but for a podcast that focuses on trapping I am giving it 5 stars. I hope the quality improves and that the livestreams go away and that there are more guests and maybe a couple of co-hosts? Trapping is in desperate need of a facelift and modernization so it can survive in our changing world- Jeremiah Wood will undoubtedly be one of the leaders.

You should make a camo trapping shirt. With traps on the front and back.

Great podcast! New to the whole trapping world and did not have a mentor to guide me so this podcast is super helpful in helping me frame how I think about going to trap and and just in general th dos and donts

What a great podcast! Jeremiah is always thoughtfully talking about something I’m interested in, whether is HOW to catch furbearers, epic trappers of yesteryear. Or his analysis of today’s fur market and political climate. The only area for improvement I can think of is to increase the volume on the interviews. I listen to these podcasts while I’m driving and even with my volumes maxed the noise from my all-season tires is usually enough to drown out the voice of who Jeremiah is interviewing or the voice of Jeremiah. - Chip, Seattle

Love the content!!! Great trapping podcast!! Please turn up the volume on your microphone, I have my phone volume all of the way up and connected to an external speaker and I literally have to have the speaker close by in order to hear you clearly, especially during the intro.

Hey Jeremiah, Kris Pope did a great interview with a woman trapping in NY. Her and her husband would be great guest on your show too! A lot of good insight and a great perspective.

Like the podcast. It talks about a lot of trapping related items. Keeps your mind on trapping during the off season and gives unique insights from other people through the country.

The Trapping Today podcast offers a great mix of topics for everyone from the rank beginner, such as myself, to veteran trappers that just enjoy all things trapping related. Jeremiah is an articulate, knowledgeable but humble host whose passion for trapping is obvious to even the casual listener.

It keeps the itch scratched. Unlike the rust growing on your traps in the off season, there is no rust growing on the great ideas and techniques coming from this podcast.

I’ve learned some tricks I can use in my trapping, but I’ve learned a lot of trapping in other areas. Things I may never use, but still very great to listen to.

Started listening to this pod cast about 2 months ago. Jeremiah does a great job of cover trapping for people across North America. He has a little bit of everything from interviews, techniques, education, and historical info and stories. I look forward each listening either on my way to work heading out to check the line.

This is as informative a podcast a person can find! The enthusiasm for trapping and lessons provided will leave you itching for your next trap line adventure! I found this podcast a two weeks ago. I enjoy listening to talk radio much more than music. But I found something that I’m interested in which is so much more interesting to listen to. I drive a truck for a living and I started with number 1 and have listened to all the podcasts and then started all over and I’m listening to them again. I have found we retain the information better if we listen to it again and it’s very entertaining. I’ve been buying kaatz bros lures for years from other vendors . I didn’t even realize they had a website until I heard them on the podcast. Now I can order direct. I’ve been trapping for fur for 22 years and I have done ADC work for 12 years. I really enjoy this podcast and all the information I receive from it. I especially like the stories about old trappers like the crow flats story and from having guests on like Ron jones. Thanks Jerimiah for such a great podcast. Would enjoy hearing more about grey fox and mink.

Good for new and seasoned or interested in fur trapping. For stuff you’ve forgotten or don’t understand. Ask Jeremiah. He has a lot of different people that has a ton of info. Email him a question. He is good at answering by email or on the air. Kaatz bro’s on a lot that share a lot of insight too

I found this podcast this past summer while looking for something to listen to while I was working. After listening to the newest episode that week. I went back and listened from the beginning through all the episodes. It is so informative and love the knowledge and insight that is podcast brings. I’ve used a lot of the information as well as researching more in-depth the books and articles you bring to us every week. I’ve recommended this to, two of my coworkers as this is their first year trapping and the value of information that you bring forth has helped me to help them get their equipment ready for the coming season. I’m a new trapper here in Idaho this winter is going to be my first year. My target animals are wolves, coyote, & bobcat. My reason is to help manage the predators to protect the elk and deer. Idaho requires a trapping class but I’m sure there is still so much more that I don’t know, trying to learn all I can.

Great podcast wish there was more like this makes my night shift at work go fast.

I like listening to Trapping Today because it brings pertinent and interesting content to me weekly. I met Jeremiah recently at a convention nearby, he’s the real deal. One of the great things about trapping is the constant need to learn. I don’t see this changing no matter how long I do it. Thanks Jeremy, keep up the good work!

When I first started, there was no such type of technology,I only trapped a few years(lost interest, took on other interests). 4 years ago my son started trapping, and asked if I would ride along. A few walks on his lines/jobs brought me back in memories and good ol days. Enjoy your program!!!

I cannot recommend this podcast enough. Fantastic info for trappers all over the states. Jeremiah does a fantastic job and the website is awesome too. I am a life long trapper and my boys want to learn, I grabbed their phone and showed them this podcast. It’s that good!

Interesting interviews with accomplished trappers along with thoughts on the fur market. Jeremiah has a nice casual and conversational approach to sharing his thoughts and ideas with the listeners.
