The Just Thinking podcast is one of my favorite podcasts. Virgil Walker and Darrell Harrison take complex issues of the day, break them down and view them through a Biblical lens. They do all the research and explain them thoroughly, so you feel educated, equipped and empowered after listening. Darrell and Virgil consistently go straight to the source - the Bible - and thoughtfully present arguments grounded in scripture rather than emotion or cultural trends. Their commitment to truth and clarity is refreshing and deeply encouraging. For any believer seeking biblical insight and a rock solid foundation for their faith, I can't recommend this podcast highly enough.

Wow! This one is so rich and so full of important content that you will want to pause to take notes. I appreciate the quotes and recommended books, some of which I have purchased. This is a great tool to use in teaching others about what sanctification really means. Thank you! To God be the glory!

These Brothers in Christ have been so very helpful to so many (myself included) within the Body of Christ. So very solid and sound in their discussions on abortion, race, sanctification, church history, politics within the church, and leftist/demonic ideologies like “transgender” all through a Biblical lens is why it is the ONLY podcast I will clear time for to listen through in its entirety and actually take notes on key comments and book recommendations!! A solid podcast worth listening to every single time!! You’re guaranteed to laugh, clutch pearls, and play a bit of Hammond B when appropriate. 😆🙌🏽 Most importantly you walk away with maybe a deeper understanding in things you maybe didn’t have before, or you walk away validated in the views you’d already held. Either way- good stuff.🌿

Having listened from their first podcast to now, I love this podcast. The interaction between Darrell and Virgil is excellent, the discussions on the issues complete and always through the lens of God’s Word. I can’t recommend it enough!

But this one really hit home for me! Such clear and biblical truths and explanations of sanctification. So rich, I had to hit pause several times, just to give myself time to absorb the information. But it's still worth another listen!

I am 52, graduated from a Nazarene college 30+ years ago. I never heard your definition of entire sanctification taught. That was taught in my parents growing up years, but not now. I do love your show.

This podcast is one of the most biblically rooted around. They exposit the culture and do in depth research shining the light of truth on all the cultural issues, then they measure it all to the word of God. I have benefited greatly from this podcast. Long episodes can be off putting but every minute is worth it knowing the amount of information you will be exposed to. God is good!

So full of bold truths! The enneagram is not just dangerous but demonic. Thank you Darrell and Virgil!! Your episodes are a wake up call to believers! You both clearly do extensive research, and I’m grateful that you share so passionately & prayerfully.

The enneagram is great tool for sinful people to be upset with others for interactions they don’t like. Ex. “I am a two, you treat me poorly, how dare you!” Enneagram is extremely self focused and unless Christ has changed you, you can’t see it. Well done sirs!

Love the Biblical lens and gospel centered teaching with boldness. This is what is so needed within the church today. No more apathy-TRUTH. Always relevant, because of the simple fact that it is all based on God’s Holy Word-which is the same yesterday, today, and infinitely. Darrell and Virgil are not swayed by the cultural trends, but hold us to the gospel, and focus our eyes on Christ, who alone can save. Powerful, wise, and encouraging. Daryl and Omaha’s podcast is lengthy but so much fun to listen to when I am working, or driving to my destination. They do it with humor, sound theology, and informative reference material. At the end of each podcast I feel so knowledgeable about the topic also uplifted and motivated!

Darrel and Virgil are not just fun to listen to, they do the real work of researching and fact-digging and then process it all from a thoroughly-biblical perspective. These brethren are a real joy and a refreshing pair of voices for the truth and the cause of Christ!

This episode highlights the deception through the fog produced by the world today. The information is hidden in plain sight but not so easy to locate with the first few searches. Thank you brothers for being the spear to the weapon for me to help finish to use with the amour God has provided for me. A must listen episode to increase wisdom.

Blessed to listen to solid study and searching and interpreting of God’s good Word, the Bible, where Jesus speaks. I just listened to the episode 122 on spiritual warfare and I was greatly encouraged by the transparency of Virgil and Darrell, and refreshed by their fun, brotherly love rooted in a deep humility and understanding of who they truly are: sinners redeemed by the grace of God!

Solid, biblical truth!

Over time it’s gotten a bit too fan girlish over McArthur and others. I definitely enjoy the effort, but the othering of non-reformed churches and believers has become much too much. Very little grace or love is shown as they lump all non-reformed into one group in order to malign them.

I have followed the Just Thinking Podcast for about two years now. The content and resources that they provide are truly wonderful, and encourage time for personal study and growth! Through their podcast, I have also found them on social media, and have been introduced to many other great godly men and women who seek to proclaim truth. I’ve been encouraged to see and learn to apply the all encompassing pages of scripture as they reach to all areas of life, including social/political issues and topics. Darrell and Virgil are knowledgeable and well read, but most importantly seek to encourage the Saints by speaking truth and living for the glory of God!

I appreciate these guys very much and their content has been very helpful for a long time for me. My only constructive criticism would be on episode 121 where they are often addressing idea that some have of God as a divine ogre. The typical folks who listen to them know better than to think of God this way. The only people I have heard speak of God this way are atheists. It would be more helpful for them to address the more common struggle amongst Christians who are trying to live and think biblically – namely, in my opinion, reconciling the facts that God is good and sovereign along with their suffering. That is hard to do but all of it is true from the Bible. But we, in our flesh still, have difficulty in putting all that together. That is much more common in more conservative, biblically, based, theologically, sound circles, IMO. One more thing- I wish it didn’t take 20 mins before they got into the specific content for a given episode. :) Otherwise 100!!!

One of Darrell’s tweets popped up on my feed. I liked what he had to say so I started following him. He mentioned the Spiritual Warfare podcast and so I listened. Thankful I did. Now, I will go back and start at podcast #1. I’m now following Virgil on Twitter as well. I greatly appreciate biblically sound teaching. God Bless you both.

You are not going crazy. Are you that light in our churches who keeps seeing his spirit being quenched? And are you buggin’ out ‘cause nobody can be bothered? And finally, are you compelled to speak truth anyways because you are a slave to Jesus Christ? This is for you!

I am so thankful for this podcast. There is so much powerful truth in every episode. I have had my eyes opened to how much the American Church has been deceived as to what a true Christian walk really looks like. What they share on this show is truly life changing because it points to scripture continually and they exegete it in truth and not with their own personal spin.
