One Stop Co-Op Shop is a podcast about cooperative boardgames. Game designers & publishers, Peter Gousis & Michael Kelley host the podcast.Every other week we take one game and break it down to it's top 5 points (the good, the bad and our overall impressions). After we discuss the game we have a design discussion about one of the parts of the game.We will also have occasional podcasts reviewing solo games, and other special episodes. To see our other content check out the links below:YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrOtGhui_jdLdoQNI7PU4Pgandhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPCIkULbgzMEW612cSdUX7QPodcast - https://soundcloud.com/onestopcoopshopDiscord - https://discord.gg/p4jX8AFFacebook - www.facebook.com/onestopcoopshopDonate to One Stop Co-op Shop - https://www.patreon.com/onestopEmail - onestopcoopshop@gmail.com

    Odd Setup
This is really multiple podcasts under the umbrella of one. I really enjoy Peter’s and Michael’s five points and design discussion which I’d really like to see expanded more. The other programs are less interesting which is a little confusing and makes me hesitant to recommend. Nothing against Jason, it’s just not similar to Peter and Michael’s style. It’s like if every other week a show had a very different plot. They did recently break up with some of the other podcasters, so that makes it a little more consistent. Overall enjoyable.

    Fav board game podcast
LOVE the pod! Big fan of the YouTube channel as well. Major draw is the design discussion at the end. For someone that feels like game design is a foreign language, breaking aspects down really opens my eyes to the fine points of design I never think about. Great work! Only negative is Jerry hating on everything.

    Favorite Twice
Ones Stope Co-Op Shop is my favorite YouTube channel about board gaming. Their reviews and playthroughs are top notch. I just started listening to the podcast and should have done so sooner. Now they are my favorite x 2.

The podcast has a variety of experts and gamers. It's great.

Why all the woke stuff in a board game podcast?
It’s a good YouTube channel so I thought I’d check out the podcast. I was not expecting half the episodes to be social justice lectures. So tiresome at this point. Guess I’ll find another podcast to listen to. To quote Michael Jordan - “Republicans buy sneakers too.”

Used to like it, now it is for a niche audience
Used to enjoy Mike, Peter and Colin, and also Liz, I still do enjoy the YT channel. But podcast was took over by Jason who seems to be on a mission to problematize and inject woke politics in everything. That would be bad enough but the worst is he is trying to set himself as the top ruler and judge of it all, always explaining the “right way” to talk about something… so incredibly arrogant. But I know there is an audience for his lectures, but it is not me.

    Very detailed and informative reviews!
Mike and Peter are my go-to for any co-op game I’m on the fence about playing or buying. In particular, my tastes perfectly align with Mike’s, so I usually love any game he loves. These guys are some of the best board game reviewers in the business.

    Excellent Co-op focused podcast
Love the reviews, very helpful and focused and entertaining. Mike and Peter are especially good at distilling the key points of a game down in their reviews. I listen to this every week.

This pod used to be about games. Now it is mostly social commentary.
Jason is the worst thing this pod has ever done. His stuff should be a completely different pod. It has its place and it can be quite illuminating but it is social commentary and not the brand this pod used to be.

    Awesome
I love this five most important things you should know about a game format. And I love the design discussions that go along with them. You guys do just an amazing and professional quality job. I listen to over 20 board game podcasts and this is my favorite. Keep up the great work!! Thanks so much!! I still really like the podcast, and I like Jason, but I don’t like all the social commentary stuff from the shows that Jason is on. Because of his shows I will no longer recommend the podcast which makes me sad, because this is still my favorite gaming podcast.

    Childish
Woke leftist political programming. Jason Perez and his cringe worthy guests have lost yet another subscriber

    Used to be great
Until this Jason guy showed up. Now it’s just an sjw talk show that touches on games a little. I listen to this podcast because I want to hear discussion on games. There are plenty of other places to go for social commentary if that’s what I wanted.

Great When They Discuss Games…Not So Great When…
…they talk about the very things I play games to escape from: social media, culture and racial politics, etc. It’s easy enough to skip those episodes, but I feel disappointment when a new episode pops up on my feed and it’s not about co-op / solo gaming. I’m sure some listeners enjoy those topics, they’re just not for me. There’s still lots of gaming goodness to be had though.

    Great podcast
Funny, engaging, to the point... a fantastic podcast with a wonderful mix of hosts that cover a broad swath of games. I love their top 5 review/discussion format. The only problem I ever have is that when Colin comes on as a guest host I have to hide my wallet because his enthusiasm can be infectious!

    Great podcast
Informative, love the in-depth discussion and reviews. Guests are great too!

    Great podcast
Not much to say other than this is my favorite podcast! It sticks to the topics at hand and has interesting discussions. This podcast along with the one stop co-op shop YouTube channel are my go to for board gaming entertainment and information.

    Wow, awesome podcast!!!
The Coop Cast is Way more informative than any Dice Tower content I've heard. Dice Tower has very superficial reviews. Coop Cast is much better. Episode 43: Thanos vs Reckoners is one of the most informative podcasts I've heard on gaming (I've listened to 100's). I really love the detailed critiques and comparisons between games. Please continue to do more comparisons between similar games.

I like it better yet, I dig it
I like it. I honestly am not all that into board games. I think I just like listening to people talk about things they are passionate about. These guys are certainly passionate about board games and their voices and delivery are not offensive. Keep it up, I dig it. Update I see my review was read on the most recent episode. However, it seems that Peter and Mike were left confused and dare I say wanting for more a more effusive sense of jubilation. Well I feel I must set the record straight. Make no mistake, there is no higher honor on the spinning mass of rock we call earth than my recommendation. I do not hand out words of praise willy-nilly like some juvenile caterpillar about to pupate. No, no,no my recommendations come at great expense to my personal well being. You see I pour myself into the craft of reviewing podcasts and with each review I leave a bit of myself. Well there is no longer a need to drag this out any longer. I hereby offer the official J_$ recommendation for CoOp cast. It is fun and I stand by my original review, the hosts truly are inoffensive. Also one of them sounds like the actor John Ross Bowie (Guy from the TV show Speechless)... I think it is Mike. This is praise, he has a solid voice. Again, I still dig the podcast.

    Break it down!!!
Love this comprehensive analysis of cooperative games. My inner nerd is hanging on every word.

    Hooray for games!!!!

    Cooperific!
I'm biased because I love Coop boardgames. So a whole podcast about Coop boardgames had me intrigued. I am not disappointed and you won't be either. Not only do Peter and Michael show their love for Coop games, they are using their critical eyes to help them make better Coop boardgames (they are designers - go check out Dark Dealings or Salvation Road). Certainly check out their new games as they come out. It's not always the two of them speaking. In addition they have had on friends and other designers to talk shop. It's always a great discussion. They have a design discussion at the end and it is always interesting. The guys aren't afraid of changing up their format and challenging themselves to produce better content. ***This is really cool. They make themselves accessible to their listeners for discussion. They have a Facebook page, an invite-only Slack channel, and you can always e-mail them. They are very welcoming and look forward to having you aboard.*** The podcast was every other week, but that has changed. They have recently added the voices of Steve and Colin (One Stop Coop Shop on YouTube) to give us boardgaming discussion every week. The added voices and perspectives are a welcome addition. All-in-all it is music to my ears.

    Great Insight re: Game Design
I’ve listened through the first ten episodes and love the show! My game group is all about co-ops, and I enjoy thinking about game design, so this is the perfect podcast. I particularly appreciate that the hosts go beyond mere reviews, doing game design debates that consider the pros, cons, and proper application of various game mechanics and fads in the co-op space. Highly recommended for any co-op gaming enthusiasts!

Very good gaming discussion for cooperative and solo gamers
Well focused, mature discussions with a focus on gaming solo or with cooperative games. They stay on point, they are very polite, they are mature enough to know they do not have to use vulgar language to have a intelligent dialogue (which is very refreshing).

    Great group and content
I really like listening to these guys. Great stuff on Gloomhaven, I had no idea there are apps available. Really appreciate the organization, information, and general interaction of the posdcasters and guest :)

    Entertaining and educating
I love coop games, so the content here is catnip for me. But these guys know their stuff and are very easy to listen to. Kudos!
