Surface-level small talk with mids from unremarkable companies.

A must listenā€¦make it part of your listening library
I was recently turned on to The Brutal Truth and this one ranks up there BIG time!!! Incredible and insightful content that is a must listen.

    Good content ā€¦..poor audio quality
I have taken arts training course and read his book. Podcast is great but most times art is half the volume of the guest. This is disappointing since everything else he does is quality.

As a sales trainer myself, the topics Brian brings forth provide great insights and tips for sales managers

    How about some basicsā€¦
Iā€™ve listened to three episodes and not once does the host introduce his guest, particularly at the beginning, so I was left wondering for 30+ min who I was listening to. Of course I thought, ā€œwell, Iā€™ll go the show notes.ā€ Nope, nothing there either about the guest. It was all info about the host and the stuff heā€™s selling. Then thereā€™s the content. I listened to a Sales + Marketing episode and it was like listening to two old school ā€œbrosā€ (they even called themselves that) pontificate about all the marketing + sales stereotypes. Thereā€™s was nothing groundbreaking- if anything it was as if I was listening to how marketing + sales functions 5-10 years ago. Most modern marketing and sales leaders donā€™t function in an us v them environment anymore. We all know itā€™s counterproductive. Stop perpetuating these stereotypes and also introduce your guests.

    Manual for any sales manager
This podcast is fantastic for anyone in a sales management role. Oftentimes sales leaders lack mentors on the job because we are in a league of our own. Listening to those whoā€™ve crushed their goals, fine tuned their teams and understand that sales teams have no ā€œoutā€ if they fail, is priceless. So much to absorb here; highly recommend.

    Great podcast host!
Great podcast host! Terrific interviewer who ensures that those being interviewed look good, as opposed to trying to shine the spotlight on themselves. Prepared well for the interview with me and as a result, the conversation was smooth and flowing. Highly recommended!

Boring interviews. Few insights. Paid for
This podcast has massively degraded. Talking about irrelevant personal stories, of people with questionable success or knowledge, little content, no insights and bad interviewing. Badly produced. Just look at how the shows are click bait and ALL CAPS. Says it all.

    Concise and informative
I really enjoy this podcast. Please start putting more information on your guests in the podcast episode notes.

    Brutal Truth = More Revenue
I always look for content that is brutally honest and proven in science so that it works everytime, for every business. This is it. Brian blends these two factors, synthesizing the most usable content for the audience.

    Insightful, entertaining and actionable
Brian and his guests provide some incredibly actionable and compelling content, spotlighting the absolute best marketing tactics and coming trends to help you effectively grow your business (without breaking the bank). Highly recommend listening and subscribing to B2B Revenue Leadership if you want the knowledge AND mindsets to get ahead of the curve (and reach your overall goals as a result)!

    Great Show, Great Guests!
Iā€™m a commercial insurance producer in Florida and I really enjoy the insight provided by Bryan and the amazing guests he schedules on to the show. The content is well organized and to the point with immediate value! I also appreciate the improvement in quality over the year I have been listing. Some of the old episodes on the other channels were tough to get through with the wildly fluctuating volumes. I do have one area of improvement that occasionally bothers me. I know you like to keep things light at times, but some of the (forced) laughter directly into the mic is painful through the car stereo. Maybe back off the mic a little bit so it isnā€™t a punch to our ear drums when throwing in that chuckle. Thanks and keep it going!

    Outstanding, and ACTIONABLE, sales content
Brianā€™s structures, direct and practical sales advice delivers. His library of examples, strategies and ideas is just awesome. Iā€™ve been listening to this new podcast (he has 2 others) for a while now and I am amazed at how he continues to deliver exceptional content week after week, year after year. The interviews are rich with useable insights and perspectives.

Focus on fundamentals - always relevant!
If you are a professional seller or in sales management, the B2B Revenue podcast needs to be on your playlist! Brian Burns knows what heā€™s taking about and reinforces and at times introduces the audience to important and impactful sales concepts and tactics. Brianā€™s monologues and interviews are always content rich and well worth the time you trade to listen.

    Very Specific to Tech
This is very much geared toward B2B in the tech space, so the title is somewhat misleading (the tech sector often forgets there are a lot of other B2B companies out there that function differently than tech). However, the content is interesting. Iā€™ve found a few episodes applicable to other business models and products. My only other frustration is that the episodes are completely unedited, so the quality can be low (hard to hear the featured speaker, cutting out because theyā€™re recording a Skype call, etc).

    Practical sales advice
Sales is tough. Brianā€™s podcast helps to cut through the BS that is the sales self-help category and gives practical and actionable advice on how to improve. Itā€™s a great resource for seasoned sales professionals as well as newcomers.

Great podcast for revenue marketers and demand generators
I've been a fan of Brian Burns and the Brutal Truth podcast for years, but as a marketer with demand generation and revenue attainment responsiblities, this cast knocks it out of the park. I've become better at aligning with sales with informative and helpful ideas delivered each week.

Changing my life in 3 weeks
I started listening to Brian Burns Brutal Truth about selling a few weeks ago and based on the effectiveness of that podcast, started listening to this podcast. I'm a CPA, not a sales rep. In 4 months, I did mostly mailers with zero success. His shows stated what I knew internally, but did not listen to, "Revenue drives business", not my technical knowledge. I changed my methods and have done an audit proposal each of the last 3 weeks, having done none before starting to listen to his shows.

    Really Valuable Show
I love the insights in this podcast. I'm an agency recruiter and find both this show as well as Brian's "Brutal Truth" show very helpful in my business.

    Informative and Helpful
Brian Burns has put together a fantastic podcast for anyone in B2B sales, management, operation, etc. The guests are top notch and provide insightful information about varying aspects of B2B sales. I truly appreciate the thought Brian puts into the questions he asks his guests. His sales and business acumen shows through as he gathers vital info for his listeners and promotes his guestā€™s business.

    Excellent podcast
I started listening to the B2B Revenue Leadership podcast about a month ago, and I've been tearing through the episodes. Every show contains actionable material and gets me to think about some business issue in a new light. One of the unintended side-effects from listening to the show is that it's started to change my business vocabulary/acumen, which has obviously had a positive impact in my sales calls. This podcast isn't just for managers/sales leaders/aspiring-leaders, but is an excellent resource for the individual contributer who wants to think at a higher level. Highly recommended.

    Great, real advice!
This is one of the best resources to learning business, revenue and sales! Great for those professionals in the complex sales industry as myself. Real advice from someone who knows - he isn't just selling himself and giving the ol' 10X your hardwork that does not translate to a complex sell.

You HAVE to listen to Brian Burns!

    Excellent
Brian Burns' podcasts -- he has three! -- The Brutal Truth About Sales and Selling, Sales Questions and Brutally Honest Answers, and The B2B Revenue Leadership Poscast are all AWESOME and expansive sources of relevant, expert sales info from an experienced sales leader doing what we all want to be doing -- making lots of money! What I like the most about Brian's podcasts is the fact that it's no BS. It's real talk that feels like a conversation you would have with a friend, not carefully scripted or censored talk. That said, he also stays on point. It's a relief to hear sales advice free of sugarcoating or answers that apply "in an ideal world" because as we all know, this is the real world, an we are all human. Finally, if you just found his podcasts, he's been doing it long enough that the feed is full of past episode topics that let u get help right now on something specific, or binge listen without having to find something else to listen to for awhile. Last, u can ask him questions cuz he loves to answer them.. AND he's funny! Thank u Brian. Keep doing what you do.
