Great podcast, Brian: please speak louder!
Excellent podcast by two very knowledgeable gentlemen. They cover a lot of interesting topics in a short amount of time. Highly recommended. My only critique would be a request that Brian speak a bit louder. I often find myself rewinding because I couldn’t make out what he said the first time.

    Love it!
I've been listening since the beginning. There is always a takeaway or nugget to learn. I like the new format with a guest host each week. The amount and quality of the content delivered each week is surprising! I hope they never stop!

Great Podcast on Python ecosystem, wish episodes were shorter
If you are in the python language ecosystem I highly recommend this podcast. I have been listening for years (even though I don’t work in python anymore it has a special place in my ❤️). I would give a 4 star rating but I have knocked it down to 3 stars because the episodes have become too long. They used to be 15-20 minutes long, just the right size to be called “bytes” and that was perfect IMO. All episodes now are well over 30 minutes and sometimes I just delete those ones. I like that guests are on now a days so maybe I’m suggesting fewer things be share per episode. Thanks for the podcast Michael and Brian!

    Good tech, leftist political drivel
Huh, aside from your oversimplified take on recent events, parroting the idea it was a attempted “takeover” rather that protests that had a widely denounced violent element, expected from mindless leftists, I am surprised you support big tech controlling speech. Since you’re clearly not able (or maybe honest?) enough to think for yourselves, I would point out much of the Capitol violence crowd planned their action via twitter, just like all the BLM/ democrat terrorists across the country the rest of the year. Didn’t notice you commenting on how big tech could help bring them to justice- 30 deaths, billions in damage, little stuff leftists might not think is significant when carried out by their buddies. Nice job pushing the narrative, goofballs.

    Best programming podcast out there
One of the hardest parts of programming is knowing what tools and ideas are out there to help you. This podcast covers everything you need to know in the world of Python and I've become a significantly better programmer because of it. Thanks to these awesome guys!

    Outstanding Podcast!
I’m so glad I discovered this podcast. It’s motivated me to once again get back into python after years of a hiatus (since 2006) and when I learned python in version 2 almost 20 years ago as a hobby/tinkerer when I needed a break from other programming languages I'm fluent in. The hosts are genuine and truly are passionate “pythonistas”. It’s something that I look forward to listening too! I also enjoy M. Kennedy”s “talk python to me”,- podcast, which is full of terrific information for the newb or seasoned programmer. Love how they always end their pod cast on an up! Keep those python jokes coming— it’s their signature “ending on a high note!” Kudos!

Like a Coffee Talk Show for the Python Community
Full disclosure: I know nothing about Python. However, I met one of the hosts at podcasting conference and gave this show a try. I was impressed by Michael and Brian's deep knowledge, friendly manner, and easy style. The programs reminds me of one of those coffee talk shows on a small town AM radio station where you can find out everything that's going in a community.

I'm always interested in learning about new tools, so Python Bytes is right up my alley. The quick rundown of news each week is very cool, and I inevitably end up going to the show notes to check out the links.
