His deep insights into the weekly parasha are both enlightening and accessible, making even the most complex ideas understandable. But what truly sets Rabbi Wolbe apart is his incredible sense of humor. He has a way of weaving in wit and humor that keeps you engaged from start to finish. Shayne punimBest parsha podcastI've listened to so many parsha podcasts, this is the one I listen to! I absolutely love Rabbi Wolbe's voice, and the way he breaks down the weekly parsha makes it enjoyable and easily digestible. The exquisite insights are by far my favorite part I could listen to just that! I really love how he makes complex ideas of the Torah accessible to even a Balt Teshuva such as myself. Thank you so much, you truly are a tzadik!

marioooooo95LabanExcellent! I guess however, you decided you do not want to put dates in. Also, a little bit more explanation about why Laban could both be a scholar of the Torah, and also have idols.

Tres PadreSubscribeDefinitely worth the subscription

Gabriel PalleyBringing the amazement into our everyday livesRabbi Wolbe is amazing. He brings scholarship, earnestness, humor and humility as he makes the esoteric and profound accessible to normal people like me. I am a busy doctor and father, and don’t have time to study. So I listen to the weekly parsha podcast and make sure that I engage in just a little bit of Torah every day. And Rabbi Wolbe is the perfect guide.

Daniel LorenBlown away!!!Rabbi Wolbe is hands down transformational in the development of my relationship and connection to Hashem and my personal growth in Judaism. Each one of his podcasts is inspiring with a deep level of research and connection to our scripture and past. He find a deep meaning and modern connection based on texts and words that are seemingly random and ancient. If you are a new listener keep listening and listen to his other podcasts too. You won’t be disappointed. I am so thankful that I found his podcasts and appreciate what he brings into my life. Thank you Hashem for the opportunity to learn and grow. And thank you Rabbi Wolbe for inspiring all your other listeners - from strength to strength.

Laurel.TLife-changingMy first favorite TORCH podcast was the Jewish History podcast. I found it to be entertaining and deeply enlightening. Then I wandered into the land of the Parsha podcast, and now that I discovered it, I’ll never turn back. Rabbi Wolbe’s wisdom and sense of humor makes every episode feel like a special treat. I’ve learned so much about Torah, lessons that I’ve shared with my family and friends, and I’m convinced that we’re all spiritually better off because of these lessons.

NaglerfamilyflI’m a better JewI started listening to the Parsha Podcast this year and can honestly say, thanks to Rabbi Wolbe I am a better Jew. I have learned more than I was ever taught in Hebrew School and learn real details that have helped me to understand each weekly Parsha. gonzo512transformativeif you need to listen to some thing that will transform your view of how to live, please please listen to this podcast. Don't just listen once, listen to as many of these podcasts as you can. these podcasts are not only exceptional for their wisdom, but the positive energy and enthusiasm that one absorbs when listening to them produces an amazing experience. Learning isn't easy. Life isn't easy. But if you devote an hour a week to listening and really trying to understand what's being said, I promise, you will grow.

m_h_aThe Parsha PodcastJust listened to Va’eschanan - Entry Denied. Spectacular. You think The Parsha Podcast can’t get any better - and then you are proved wrong. The depth and scholarship of the Podcast is remarkable. This last episode in my opinion is the best one so far. Unbelievable! The layering of stories, interlaced with Talmudic references is pure joy. But if next week’s podcast is better (and that would be quite something) given Rabbi Wolbe’s track record - I won’t be surprised. I hope in writing this he does not feel any added pressure. He should live and be well. Love this podcast!!
-
EvinstonA different kind of listenerI look forward to every Parsha Podcast episode! Thank you Rabbi Wolbe for making this available to everyone. I’m Roman Catholic; so you may be surprised to know I’m a regular listener. I’ve been inspired, touched, and educated during each episode. I share and recommend your podcast to EVERYONE!
-
fantastic_titiEducative and InspiringDuring the pandemic, I’ve started to take long walks / runs around my neighborhood and started looking for inspiring podcasts. I am so happy that I found this Parsha study podcast! Rabbi Walbe brings a well-rounded view with insights from the Midrash and many other sources. I especially enjoy hearing first the episode from last year (rebroadcast) and then listen to the new episode every week - giving me yet another angle to look at the Parsha! The work that Torch and Rabbi Walbe are doing is incredible to reach people all around the world and I want to re-inforce them to continue and grow! Yeshar Koach!

BJL 59 and 61Just 5 Stars Availble?Just 5 stars available? I love all of Rabbi Yaakov Wolbe’s podcasts and give them the maximum possible – Five Stars! Any way they can be big stars? I’m sure everyone has a few stories about how their lives have changed forever due to the Covid Pandemic? For me, one really great thing is I discovered Rabbi Wolbe’s interesting and informative podcasts. I am now proud to say that I would never again make the statement, “I am culturally Jewish.” That expression does not fit me anymore with my continually increasing depth of knowledge, not to mention love and appreciation for my religion. Before the Pandemic, I can’t really say I had thoroughly digested even a Haggadah properly. Looking back, I am embarrassed to say, I had led some horrible Seders. But as I continue to learn all this new, fascinating, multi-layered, unending, mind-bending information from Rabbi Wolbie, often above our comprehension, it humbles you. Thank you Rabbi!
-
Jbrody627Excellent Podcast on the Torah portionRabbi Wolbe is an excellent teacher who explains the Parsha in a way for a person who did not have a traditional Jewish education can understand. He always gives insights that I really enjoy. Thank you Rabbi Wolbe and Torch for helping me connect to Hashem and to the Torah. Jonathan Brody

JanglinJablesThe Single Greatest ThingRabbi Yaakov Wolbe’s parsha podcast has been my single greatest joy after discovering it this past year. Never before have I refreshed my podcast page so much in the hopes that another episode has dropped. Such moving, intelligent, and scholarly analysis has fundamentally changed my outlook on life, G-d, and Torah. I have ‘rediscovered’ my Judaism because of Rabbi Wolbe and the rest of his team at TORCH and encourage you to partake, learn, and grow. THANK YOU!
