I Love a Good Besch Sesch!
I remember the Jen days of the podcast, very fondly. The Laura days were also good. These halcyon days of talent were followed by a terrible and directionless period, which was just total off the rails. Stewart was a good host, who dragged the podcast from the Doug abyss of being a venue for connected academics and relatives to sell books that nobody ever wanted to read, and he gave it the serious reboot that it deserved. Now, we are rewarded with Sophia, who is excellent. The podcast, helmed by Sophia and company, is worthy of your time.

Global Fight for Racial Equity - Jul 23, 2020
What an awesome episode. The discussion was relevant for today and had amazing stats that really honed in on the issues. Great information from other areas around the world.

A foreign policy podcast that stands out
There are plenty of global affairs podcasts out there that regurgitate the news cycle. Fewer sit down experts to weave their expertise into stories that illuminate and stick with you. Come for the challenging, timely topics. Stay for the analysis that goes beyond the typical dinner-table news fare.

    Great listen
Love this show - deeper dive beyond just keeping up with the news. They always get interesting experts, and I get answers to the questions that have been on mind. Highly recommend!

    Great way to stay informed
This show does an excellent job of scratching past the surface on relevant topics in international relation without being esoteric. I look forward to it every week.

    Smart, Informative and Topical
One of the best foreign policy podcasts I’ve listened to. Every interview is relevant and topical to reflect what is happening in the world, without all of the jargon. If you want a fresh perspective on foreign policy, definitely take a listen.

    Worth a listen
I listen to these so I can sound smart about foreign affairs at the dinner table or over a drink with friends. Great stuff, and such good experts come on.

    “Mhmm”
Moderator continuously validates interviewees points with such expression. Not only is it rather loud and jarring but often times it will be in the midst of interviewees answers which prevents me from hearing them clearly. Very distracting and detracts from the interviews greatly Following this comment^, moderator refrained from doing a single time in subsequent interview. Makes for a much more fluid and enjoyable listening experience and also shows that the suggestions are duly noted. Much appreciated and keep up the good work! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Eh.
Some good information at times, but the hosts can be painfully oblivious to their own biases and partisan opinions-as if there is no other way to look at a situation other than through their eyes.
