    Let it be Lowenbrau
The 49 min podcast devoted to a 30 second Lowenbrau commercial is a masterpiece, Bravo!

Like a VHS tape treasure trove
This has become one of my favorite podcasts and I anticipate seeing what topic shows up the title each Thursday it’s released. It’s reviews of old shows feels like scanning the handwritten labels of a box of hone recorded VHS tapes. A lot of old sitcoms revisited as well as some intriguingly unknown TV movies. My own era really begins around 1982 or so but I have found their selections from the 70s fascinating. Big fan of the hosts too.. who manage to balance tv nostalgia with a healthy dose of modern awareness.

The Superstation WTBS brought me here
Patrick Simmons and Gary Sandy! I always thought they were separated at birth. I feel better knowing that someone else saw it as well. The shows are great.

An affectionate and funny trip down memory lane
Battle of the Network Shows is a must-listen for anyone who watched TV in the 70s and 80s. Hosts Rick and Mike discuss an episode from a series and use that as a jumping off point to talk about the show as a whole, its creators and stars, and the show’s place in the TV (and overall cultural) landscape of the time. The hosts are very knowledgeable and funny and keep the tone of the show positive. They don’t shy away from acknowledging dated aspects of shows (sometimes cringingly dated to a modern audience) but still appreciate the shows as both products and reflections of their times. I wasn’t surprised that I loved listening to the shows I watched as a kid but have been really happy to discover that I love the episodes about the shows that I never watched too as the hosts do such a great job of introducing and discussing each show. Each episode has been a great listen, I highly recommend checking out BOTNS!

    Great podcast!
They cover a good variety of tv shows. You can even suggest or vote for a future tv episode. I am always looking forward to the next podcast.

    Love it!
This is a great podcast for those of us who love all the old classic tv shows. I am a new subscriber, and and so glad to have found this. I appreciate that they still show respect for all the shows, even if they don’t particularly care for them. They are not mean, and even when they are poking fun at someone, you can tell it’s done with respect and good humor. Thanks guys!
