It’s amazing how knowledgeable these guys are about football. Anyone who think they know about football should listen to these guys.

Man this show used to be good but now it’s just pure advertisements!! You gotta skip to roughly 3-4 mins into each episode to skip ads, they talk less than 7 mins & then there’s more advertisements. Just awful. Cannot stand it. Terrible show, just listening to silence is better.

They defend the team and Jerry Jones at all times. If you want an honest take on the team, look elsewhere, you won’t get it with these two.

My uncle played for the Cowboys from 1964-1977. I’ve been a fan since the 1970 wildcard game which is the first game I remember watching on TV. I remember all 5 Super Bowl wins. This is the best Dallas Cowboys podcast by far and I listen to it daily. Marcus and company are knowledgeable, entertaining, and explain things in a way every fan can understand. 5 stars!

For a daily podcast, Marcus and Landon do a great job of keeping the content fresh and relevant. They also do a good job of being decently neutral despite both obviously being big fans of the team as well. They provide good high level analysis while also not talking over the heads of casual fans.

Personally, this is my favorite Cowboys podcast to listen to. Like anyone, these guys have their opinions and preferences but their analysis is strong. They do excellent job of citing specific examples and moments from game tape to support their takes. They talk about player technique, on field communication and understand what’s going on in the trenches. I don’t know the background experience of Landon and Marcus but I often feel like I’m listening to pro scouts. I appreciate this because I’m tired of hearing “analysts” who fulfill the stereotype that Cowboys Nation is mostly loud, strong opinions without much intelligence.

I think you guys may have more opportunities in the Dallas Cowboys if you didn’t say “Right?” five hundred times per episode and annoy the people who may be providing those opportunities. Otherwise, you guys have a solid podcast.

Just wanted to let you guys know how much I enjoyed listening to every day especially enjoy it during the summer months because my other podcast on dallascowboys.com don't have any shows or if they do, it's just once a week. I need my Dallas Cowboys fix every single day, all year round. I sometimes wish it was a little bit longer the show with the 3 commercials I feel like sometimes it's not enough Content especially during the season. I understand in the off-season you probably have a tough time coming up with more content, anyhow, just wanted to let you guys know that I really enjoy listening to every day& I love the Dallas Cowboys since 1982 when I was four years old. I was in my early teens when they won their three Super Bowls and I put a bet that they would win the Super Bowl this year. I got 15 to 1 odds I could care less about winning the $$$ -I just want them to win the bowl this year. They are loaded this year, but like every year, it just comes down to who is the healthiest team& the playoff matchups has a big affect on who makes it to the Super Bowl. Talent is great but you have to peek at the right time and be playing your best football in the playoffs. Look forward to listening to you guys tonight & every day in the future. Thanks guys!!

I’ve been a huge fan of Locked on Cowboys for years, but attempted to have a discussion with Landon McCool on Twitter, during which I disagreed with him, so he blocked me. If he’s that thin skinned, maybe media isn’t for him. I’ll give two stars. One for a good show, and one for Marcus, but I’m done with it for now.

This is an informative podcast. Landon’s understanding of Line play is helpful to understanding both the Cowboys and their opponents. Marcus makes good points but his selection of opponents is becoming annoying because it’s hard to tell when he truly believes it as apposed to hedging. I do think they have stuck to Dak a little too much of recent. Dak had to make just one or two more plays to win the game and against the Niners. Purdy improvised with Kittle to get that done reminding me of a failed such attempt between Romo and Patrick Crayton in 2008. Dak threw two interceptions in contrast to Purdy. Yes the Niners had better talent but it’s also clear that Dak’s pay will prevent as talent rich a roster as Philly and SF to complement Dak. The future for the Dallas Cowboys is bleak with Dak and I would have liked a little more honesty from Landon and Marcus on this point and to hear their expression not to further defer Dak’s salary in 2023. I do hope they discuss QB draft options this year.

Great cast if you are looking for rah rah cowboys. Half of the hosts are so dak biased they must be protecting some relationship in order to attain inside info. Can’t even be realistic after poor performances and it’s all finger pointing at the rest of the team and coaches.

You guys go out of your way to blame the offense and protect a defense that gave up a FREAKING 14 point lead in the 4th Qtr!! This is the worst commentary by far. FYI., DQ has been giving up leads sense his time with the Falcons. DO BETTER or do something else!

I listen to quite a few cowboys podcast but this is my first listen - every day! The most in-depth, entertaining and insightful cowboys info out there.

Awesome podcast, much better then most if not all other podcast that cover the Dallas Cowboys.

Love you guys! Very informative. However, I feel the audio quality could be improved. Sounds like maybe needs you guys getting a bit closer to mic. Sounds a bit like it’s being recorded in a bedroom or something. Need to put the volume all the way up to get a better audio to hear everything clearly.

Knowledgeable, funny, able to laugh about the horror of the 2021 season without belittling people. Somehow other podcasters couldn’t do that.

I like Landon’s informed takes and vocabulary. He’s a sharp dude who knows the game. Doesn’t have the best voice for radio, but he’s good to go. Marcus is great for Twitter, but he’s bad for the pod. He mispronounces a lot of names, even guys who play for the Cowboys. Ex: “Ty-RON Smith” instead of “Ty-run Smith.” That’s an egregious repeated error considering he “covers” the team and does radio. He also says “eckspecially” and “Ore-Gone.” Like, you’re doing radio, Marcus. Tighten up. And quit asking Landon “right?” every time you offer a take or point; you sound unsure of yourself. That said, having a co-host has helped Landon tremendously. He used to fumble through his solo shows. BUT, I miss the Best Coast Boys pod. Landon and Owning were trench-play nerds I learned a lot from, and they had goober chemistry. That was a fun pod.

Appreciate the realistic view points and how they both bring a deep understanding on how the game is played.

Outside of the mothership one of the best Cowboys pods on the net. Former BTB alum McCool and his do everything football related co-host Mosher know the ins and outs of everything Dallas Cowboy football. And you’ll even get a few nuggets here and there of inside info other podcast can’t share. Good stuff by a couple awesome guys.

Very informative and fair. Whether it’s good or bad about the Cowboys, they always keep it 100. Running backs don’t matter!!!

Not very insightful. Lacks anything beyond surface level Cowboys personnel and draft strategy. A lot of laughing at their own bad jokes. Might be good for the casual fan.

Great pod; the TNT crew gets on my nerves especially when the Mavs make them right. We need a vet, who is realistic? -George hill -D. Rose -Lamarcus Aldridge -Demar Derozan Can we throw the house at the wizards and get Beal? It looks like Rick has lost the locker room in my opinion, as a Cowboys fan the effort and execution reminds me of JG J. Rich has not been great, his energy as a tough guy is low, and very inefficient so far.

Love listening to this podcast. Always some interesting nuggets about the cowboys and even others around the league. Definitely recommend to all. Marcus and Landon work great together. I’m a huge cowboys fan and have listened to a lot of nfl/cowboys podcasts but there’s is the best I’ve heard without a doubt. His Twitter is also great to follow.

These guys know their stuff and are all about looking at the details instead of the main media headlines. They cover everything with awesome depth and I feel so much more informed after listening to them!

I have been a diehard Cowboys fan for 38 years and it is hard to find football takes that are fresh and new, but the Locked On Crew do an amazing job. Landon and Marcus go in depth on schemes, techniques, play calling and player development. I commute two hours a day and I love listen to these guys each morning. @kinghammer_15s

Cover every issue. Good guests and back and forth. Maybe their opinion is not what I agree every time, but that’s part of why it works. Outside mike fluctuations and needing to do volume adjustments when one of the guys gets excited 😊 it’s a must listen to for cowboy fans on any and all topics.
