This is one of the best podcasts that I’ve ever listened to. I think you need to advertise it more. Clearly many people haven’t heard of it yet.

I love this show so much! Jonathan Goldstein is an immensely talented storyteller. His shows demonstrate how deeply he cares about the individuals in his stories. I sometimes weep because I am so touched and then laugh because his humor is so clever. I can’t imagine why there’s such a challenge finding a home for this beautiful podcast.

Have had Heavyweight on auto play for the last few days. I’ve re-listened to this entire series multiple times and never tire of it. It’s nice to leave on at bedtime since I’m familiar with the stories, I can enjoy them without having to follow every word. I’m glad to see my podcast refresh and see this up on the list! My Apple podcast app showed Heavyweight as updated today. My heart leapt. Alas, it doesn’t appear updated, but I wanted to say how much I love this podcast. I go back and listen to episodes frequently, and I cannot understand what happened to cause this show to be dropped. This show is intimate, hilarious, heartbreaking, surprising and utterly original. Please, if someone is reading this (Jonathan?) please make more episodes. I love your work!

I love this podcast when Jonathan hosts. Like, it’s SO good. Kalila has clearly been working on her voice, she sounds a little less congested and drugged than she used to but that’s the only compliment I can give her. I just turn it off when she hosts it, it’s boring, and lacking.

I am an avid listener of podcasts, and this is the only show I have listened to each episode multiple times! I cannot say enough good things about this show and highly recommend!! It’s so well written, moving, funny, and it always makes you feel connected to others! I wish it would come back!

I always look forward to each episode. Jonathan tells a story well albeit in a halting somewhat awkward style at times but that style suits him and the stories he tells. I always arrive at the end with a feeling that I have been let in on something special and have learned a little something about the human condition. Thanks for doing what you do Heavyweight team.

Heavyweight is a necessary Podcast in the line up of the usual suspects; True Crime, Politics, Celebrity interviews and self help. Jonathan’s commentary brings levity to the heartfelt stories of average people. It is a ray of sunshine in the podcast world. I’m almost finished and so sad to know it was dropped from Spotify. I really hope the work continues elsewhere. You all nailed it.

Heavyweight is the absolute best podcast out there. I’m so sad that it hasn’t been renewed. This podcast has so much heart. We humans need this big-hearted show, especially right now. And Jonathan Goldstein is pure gold. Please bring back the greatest podcast out there.

I hope Jonathan still reads these reviews. I just found heavyweight and am devastated it’s been dropped. This podcast exemplifies human beings in their most vulnerable moments and it’s with grace and dignity. I also love the compassion Jonathan shows for his subjects, along with his efforts to give them the thing that will help them the most. It’s a view of humanity in the best way. I could not stop crying when I listened to episode 50 when Nick receives the new song of his brother beat boxing. So beautiful. I hope you do find a new home.

Needs maybe ten stars. Nothing with this much heart could be allowed to live and so in the end it wasn’t. It’d be right as rain if it could come back, I don’t remember Jonathan giving away friggin’ Cadillacs…

I can’t stop listening to Heavyweight. The stories, the way Jonathan… IS, is so wonderful & entertaining. I find myself crying during many episodes because I can relate to the “Going back in time” to try and fix something. It’s definitely worth your time.

My heart is heavy with weight cause I can’t listen to stories of reconciliation and redemption anymore! I laughed and cried as these people with their way into my heart. Hey, I have an idea. Let’s do a fundraiser to bring them back!
