Thebadguy127Oh no! Goodbye?Listening since episode one. I’ve never missed a minute. Always looked forward to it. Adnan and all the producers I will truly miss them. I love this show! I have since the beginning and I’ll miss it. You’ve helped me find new and old movies alike. You have read my reviews on your show before and it was cool to hear adnan was reading them and I hope he reads this one because I think that he is the BEST!!! 🍁🍁🍁🍁

Danger Zone 55Great PodI enjoy this movie pod. I am super sad it is ending
-
jscoenamThank you Adnan!I learned so much and enjoyed your company while I went for walks or worked in the yard. All the best to you and your family.
-
poisson89Sad dayCan’t believe this one is ending. Draft Kings Network/Dan Lebatard legacy may well be taking a great product, trying to ruin it through baffling production decisions, and then finally killing it. Hopefully they find a way to do Adnan right, but, given their elevation of mediocre talent these days, I won’t be counting on it.

Loyal 300A major Salute 🫡Loved the show and disappointed that the show is ending! Huge fan, and happy you will still take part in weekly segments on the main show!
-
the-justin79Adman the nicest guy on the radioThe pod is enjoyable. I was hoping to find a review on monkey man (3 maple leafs) and an older movie that I always wanted to get your take on Wind River. 2017 (4 maple leaf). Sorry if you have done them and I just didn’t find them.
-
_drewskiWelcomeLove the pod! No offense to cote but it’s been way better having a producer who actually likes talking movies
-
Roderick JayneThe Best Film podcastThis is the best film podcast out there. Adnan has an amazing ability to pack so much knowledge into every review and every segment. Always an great listen! Could use 20% less Cote
-
AtulSofatToo longLike the new producer but of course miss Cote. However the pod has become too long. Keep it tight!

IhatecountrymusicLike pod but tell the movie name before you start talking about itLove the content but too many times I have no idea what movie you are reviewing. After Skywalkers you started talking about some movie on critically acclaimed Netflix 64 rotten tomatoes even rewinded still not clear what movie it was maybe Wild Thing. You do this a lot let’s try and start review with name of movie and where you can watch it. I listen when I’m in my car or walking dog so I am unable viewing the page of description. Maybe slip in the name post production.

get0ffthefl0or🍁🍁🍁🍁Love it. Great commentary. Opinions are well researched. Love chemistry between Adnan and Harry especially. Kudos to Adnan, always responsive on social especially when it comes to cinema, baseball, and slushees.

DocLouIowaAcrophobia not agoraphobiaAgoraphobia is fear of the market place, open spaces. These people don’t like to leave the home. Acro is about heights. Loved Man on a Wire. Doc Lou Iowa.

Jpm1015A must for movie fans!Adnan asked for more OGs to chime in. Ask and you shall receive! Adnan is the most well versed movie reviewer you will hear on a podcast. He’s insightful, has a wide range of knowledge on directors, writers, genre of movies, etc. He will introduce you to something you didn’t know and also add some humor with personal stories (car breaking down, getting fixed, and Eagles’ hat buying are a few of my favorites). I agree with “most” of his takes (however The Hitman was not as good as advertised. I agree with Claire more in that it was tough to get through, but hey, they can’t all be winners in the summer of Glen Powell). Regardless, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this podcast, one of the few I subscribe to, a MUST for any movie fan! I put a lot of weight into Adnan’s reviews before watching a film. His movie knowledge and depth of his cinematic library experience continues to impress! Anyway, I’ll be listening to the next episode. Keep it up!

TheSusanGEmeryA review, from Susan G. EmeryBest. Podcast. Ever. Adnan is brilliant, eloquent, funny, entertaining & on point, most of the time! And he’s hot. 😍🔥 Harry is a great addition, as well. Now, if only he’d watch the greatest TV shows ever made, Game of Thrones & House of the Dragon, dammit!
-
mdv808WutLiterally during the middle of summer movie season, the actual busiest time of the year, go to biweekly. Baffling
-
MB2421The BestMy favorite weekly podcast. Insightful and funny with great interviews. Adnan is the best!
-
Wrasslinfan91Top tierThe worlds on its perfect axis when adnan says nice things about the Detroit lions. Easy five stars. Been listening for years. But the lions content made me rate and review.
-
Yobal_1One of the best podcast about film!I look forward to Adnan’s review of new and old movies every week, he has a genuine love of cinema that is apparent in every episode. He offers his, along with other film critics’, honest review of the movies he highlights in an entertaining and informative way.

JDM35Working Blue in HollywoodFrom The Third Man to Third Base and Emma Thompson to Milt Thompson, Adnan and newly-crowned producer, HDH, cover all the bases in the latest in film, TV, and sometimes sports. Bolstered by a Murderer’s Row of guests including Hollywood directors, actors, writers, producers and, occasionally, The Quiz Daddy Scott Rogowsky, Adnan blends an encyclopedic knowledge of cinema with sharp wit, unyielding curiosity and an utter disdain for theater concessions prices. Subscribe, rate and review to keep this kid in the picture.

yetefsyTuesdayI’m dying of cancer. What a wonderful way to show the dignity we want. Tuesday is a heartfelt and a smart way to tackle this subject. Love the show and you.
-
autcollins135 STARS!This is a great movie podcast for film lovers. Adnan has single-handedly turned me into a movie guy (so much that I’m now logging all films I watch and giving my own rating and review) . Can’t wait to keep listening to this great show, thanks Adnan!
-
XnewfAdnan and Mahomes are awesome!Harry, aka HDH, is definitely a top notch Patrick Mahomes impersonator. Really adds to the show with his film knowledge. Adnan continues to be his usual high energy (don’t do meth kids) self. As an ex-pat, I love his Canadian biases. He is entertaining, knowledgeable and still, after all these years, is Sally Fields-like: yes, Adnan, we like you, we really like you.
-
Curtis_64Great PodcastAdnan’s passion for film & TV is undeniable. I’ve been a fan of his since the ESPN days and Harry is a GREAT addition to the Pod. Previously I said The Departed was not a great movie. I would like to edit that review by saying it’s a great movie with a terrible ending. Everybody gets shot and then the closing sequence is a CGI rat crawling across the railing..? C’mon..were they short on time and ideas then ask for help from a 7th grader? LOVE the pod and the download notification for new episodes always makes me smile. Cheers!

McpeakdcBest Movie Podcast Around! As an avid Cinephile listener I can easily say that this podcast is one of the best for movie aficionados out there. Not only does Adnan give you current reviews, but he also gives great movies that any aspiring cinephile need to have on their resume. Adnan is an amazing storyteller that engrosses the listener in tales of a dinner with Bob Costas and Ben Mankiewicz or a random car repair man that fixed his car in a parking lot. More than that Adnan is just a great guy, he is always willing to engage with fans on social media and his warmth and care always shines through. I for one am proud to be a fan from day one and a member of the old guard!

Chasemc123I listen every weekI’m writing this review because Adnan told me to
-
cvccchvOGAdnan out here begging for OGs to rate and review. Riding with Adnan since SVP and Russillo so there’s my bonafide. Love Adnan. Pay the teachers. 5 leaves.
-
Film-connoisseurEbbs and FlowsThe show is okay. There are some episodes I really enjoy and others that I stop listening. I appreciate Adnan, but there are times that I feel like he intentionally tries to be “higher class” in his movie tastes while unfairly bashing a movie for the sake of a laugh. I am not a Tom Cruise guy but even I can admit Top Gun Maverick was great.
-
@BrettSBakerLive, love, laugh and download Cinephile! As a diehard listener since episode one I can honestly say Adnan, and now Harry, make me a smarter movie watcher. Every week they not only give us great insight into the latest releases, but they also do an excellent job of looking back at all kinds of cinema. It’s literally the good, the bad, and the ugly, in an easy to consume format that educates and entertains. Adnan’s critical eye and informed takes do a real service for those of us that love movies, and he does it in a way that’s incredibly conversational and without airs. To top it off I think Harry is probably the best wingman he’s had running the show. He’s as curious and insightful as a show host could ask for. Bottom line, if you like movies this should be part of your weekly listening.
-
Max EckHe got dumpedHis very simplistic thoughts on movies has finally been kicked off the Meadowlark media feed. You likeScorsese? Wow, bold. Chris Cote thought he sucked…good luck on the mlb network (is that even a thing???)
-
DBlack519Great addition to the showThis is one podcast that I listen to weekly. Thank you for your honest reviews and insight into being an avid movie lover. As entertaining as Cody was, I believe Harry is a great upgrade and new upside to the podcast. His insight is great as another big movie guy. And him seeing films Adnan hasn’t and the discovery of new films is excellent. Please keep Harry around for the long haul. He is fantastic.
-
DevildogETOlbermanClown. Ridiculous how bad he is.
-
X in AustinRusty ShacklefordLove this show. One of THE best on Meadowlark. Keep it up, Captain.
-
RIRJLThe return of RagsI first got into the podcast when I heard Scott Rogowsky talking about The Verdict plus a eulogy of Ned Beatty. Hurt myself with laughter. I like Cote on the main LeBatard show but he’s an albatross here with his next to no film knowledge. Love that Adnan reviews old movies too as I’m a big TCM fan. Double Indemnity episode was great. Got me to go back and rewatch.
-
r y a nGreat Interviews & ReviewsNot only does Adnan have an incredible competence to review films, he is also one of greatest interviewers out there. Leaving this review after the Barry Sonnenfeld episode, Adnan’s pointed questions led to some great stories (Danny DeVito at the urinal). A compilation of past interviews would make a great series of episodes!
-
TigersJC86It’s fine butI appreciate he sees all kinds of movies but the Scorsese obsession gets real old real fast. The Tom cruise hate is also borderline weird-I understand why, Hollywood is full of sleeze and all kinds of skeletons in closets-just review the movies
-
ETAction!Used to be great. Now I can’t listen.Used to love this show. When Joe was the co host. Now Chris Cote is a part of the show and he is unbearable. His production is poor, he is not funny, witty, or clever. And worst of all, Chris Cote knows nothing about movies. Why is he part of the show? Adnan is great, always will be. Get rid of Chris and I’m back on board.
-
Jlu33Mr Deeds greater then WaterboyAfter hearing Adnan’s take on the lebatard show that Mr. Deeds is better then The Waterboy tells me everything i need to know. Mr Deeds is terrible. The Waterboy is a Classic. Sampson has all the reasons in the world to be mad about Adnan being allowed to be a movie critic.
-
Not again Who DatAwkwardAnd loving it
-
Graylander1Foreign MoviesUntil you review Godzilla-1, I’m going to stop listening to this podcast.
-
VccchvbczxvbbbIt’s timeChris cote nepo baby bit is old. Get Mayes to replace him.
-
CalamityJaneDoe11Huge blind spot for female storiesI’m a big cinefile, and I thought this might be a good podcast to geek out to. I listened to a few episodes and can’t listen to any more. Both of these guys have a real lack of understanding of female characters and make zero effort to understand their experience. It’s not a male thing it’s specifically these guys. The take seems always male centered with undertones of easily bruised masculinity. We know this is how Hollywood traditionally has been but it’s tired. As a reviewer, missing 50% of human stories does not make you a good authority on the success, relevancy or poignancy of film.

DJ DelishMore A & S!!More Adnan and Samson!! Couple of movie buffs cutting it up!!
-
Art - Art of FatherhoodFantastic movie podcastAdnan’s podcast is great and he asks solid questions to his guests. It shows the passion he has for movies. Plus as a listener I appreciate the amount of research he puts in for each episode and guest.
-
ziAKillaDue to time constraints we now move forward in our action!Great info very entertaining better than Ebert & Roper! This baseball guy knows movies! No Cinephobe though!
-
JDubz9979Top quality movie pod.Superb knowledge from Adnan and the everyman balance from Chris makes this pod well worth the listen for anyone that likes cinema!
-
Violin MustardSamson is rightAdnan is like an Ai simulator of every movie review on the internet. Plus he speaks so fast I have to listen at .5 speed. And Cote is the complete opposite. So it works.
-
theusualsuspect26Salacious & ScorseseScott Spinelli put it best when he said, “leave it to you to find the three most salacious lines in a 350 page book.” It happens far too often in Adnan’s review of movies and when talking to authors that the filthier parts get the most shine. I wish it came across as funny, but honestly, when it happens it’s creepy…it gives me Marv Albert back-biter vibes. And listen, we get it…Adnan loves Scorsese. If you’re a fan, great…you’ll enjoy the podcast. But it really feels like he brings him up every episode. With Killers of the Flower Moon on the horizon, it will literally be a topic every week until the premier and then through award season. Simply unbearable. I was a fan from way back and I wish I could say I enjoy this pod, but I simply don’t anymore. 🍁

bigmp2Last Tango in ParisWow, too much. Love your stuff, but this was over the top and disgusting.
