Use to be my go to race podcast but thinking the cursing all the time adds something, way off.

DBC Humor Is Worth The Listen Alone…..Tommy is a plus…. The insight from experienced people and from underdog teams is always the best. Sharing details from the RWR war room by Tommy and drilling down to the real reasons why things work, or don’t work during a race is really what race fans what to hear about. All things that were shared from the spotters prospective before can now be seen from another idiots’ viewpoint. Great stuff! Cheers from VT, arthendrix

This was my favorite podcast until someone screwed up and got rid of Brett. Sounds like they ended up with two idiots because no one else wanted to be associated with this train wreck.

This was the best podcast out of all the nascar podcast but it has been downgraded. I gave it a chance and I just can’t get into it without TJ and Brett. IMO it shouldn’t even be called Door Bumper Clear anymore, I mean, there’s one spotter on there now, I tried to like it, but I’m out.

My 14 year old and I used to listen together, but can’t now. How bout just beeping out a few.

I used to love listening to the show but I have struggled this season. The new lineup is not working for me and the cursing (especially the F bombs) is much worse.

Edit 2025: Love the change this year. Freddie is a great host. Tommy sounds like he is from Mass and I love the accent. It’s been great learning about him through this podcast. This is the best podcast if you are a NASCAR fan and love to learn about “behind the scenes” stuff. The group is funny and relatable.

Karsyn and tommy were great additions and I like that you guys have guests every week but I miss the old show Keep up the good work

Edit- This used to be the best podcast for NASCAR. They ruined it having no Spotter Brett on the show. What a shame. This is by far the best NASCAR show around. Inside knowledge you wouldn’t hear anywhere else. Brett and TJ are hilarious, well mostly Brett. Discovered last year after Gluck article and went back to listen to every single one. Subscribe you won’t be disappointed.

Love the idea of spotters having a podcast but the old men hitting on the very young girls creeps me out.

How do you completely misunderstand what made this show great and turn it into something totally different? Listened for several years but the new lineup is a big NO for me. Bring back old crew! In the meantime I’ll find other things to listen to.

Change is enviable but this seems to have went backwards. One of the best parts of my week was listening to DBC, it was my favorite podcast. A show from a spotter’s perspective and insight. Now it’s one spotter. Tommy seems great just miss Brett and TJ. Also the cursing is outrageous. I get it we are all adults here but now I can’t even listen to the show when my kids are in my truck. Been listening since day one and probably will continue to however I don’t think I will be listening as often and as much now.

I quit listening to the podcast a few years back - I could not stand Casey and Brett - Casey on her own and Brett when he was grossly trying to flirt with her. With the change in hosts, I decided to give the show a listen because I loved when Freddie joined the show and glad he’s remained. Tommy has a great view on topics and also super informative. Carson can hold her own with these 2.

Used to love the show. Listened to the first 2 episodes and I’m over it. Why did the other guys leave the show? Bring ‘em back!

The show just isn’t the same with the recent changes to the lineup. My weekly listening has come to an end.

Definitely not as good as the last few years. A show from spotter’s perspective but there is only one spotter on the show now. Now, instead of a weekly listener, I will probably listen if I have nothing else to listen to. 👎🏻

DBC is just not the same, and that’s not good. TJ and Brett are greatly missed. Karsyn does a good job, but the show is left lacking. Without the bleep button it’s become unbearable and I can no longer take the unnecessary weekly assault.

I used to love DBC but so far I am not a fan of the lineup change. I liked Brett’s insight but definitely was not a fan of his. So I thought that the new lineup would be an improvement but something is missing. I may check in from time to time, but I think my weekly listening is coming to an end.

Sorry Brett, Tommy may be an upgrade…

This was my favorite show for the last 5-6 years. Me and my son would listen together. With the recent changes not editing cursing we can no longer do that. It’s taken away the comedic part of the show where the guys would use alternate words that had comedic effects, and put in constant F bombs that make it feel trashy. I honestly can’t listen to it like this. I hope at the very least it goes back to being edited. I’ll try back in a few months. Hopefully it’s changed and is more family friendly.

I was looking forward to listening to the new talent and any format changes to DBC. Having spent almost 50 years in the sport as a driver and at numerous other positions my perspective has been that DBC provides an insight missing from most racing podcasts. My hope was the new talent coupled with Freddie’s experience and sense of humor would provide a change with different points of view and experiences. The unrestricted opportunity for the talent to swear at random is a disappointment! I am not unfamiliar with profanity, having served in the military,and having worked as a logger and longshoreman while I completed my education. I am not adverse to emphasizing a point with a well chosen swear word or two. Monday’s show was anything but that. It had an “oh boy” feel to it. “Now I get to show off my vocabulary of swear words.” At best the show was sophomoric. DBC is always the first racing podcast I listen to of those who drop from late Monday on through the balance week. If the swear words continue unfettered the show will become an occasional or not at all listen. Respectfully submitted.

Was a loyal listener for 5 years and really looked forward to hearing all the ins and outs of the race weekend from the guys. But now that it is unedited and Fbombs all over the place well I will no longer be listening to the show because a lot of times I have my kid with me when I’m listening to it and now I can’t.

Should have canned Mike Davis instead of Brett.

The new DBC Podcast episode was absolutely fantastic! The addition of Tommy and Karsyn brought a fresh dynamic that really elevated the show. T.J.(Manny), Brett(Moe), and Brett(Jackass) are truly entertaining. This is what happens when (3) alpha males start drinking and decide to talk racing. Highly recommend, but don’t ever mention Brett on social media…he’ll block you. He can dish it but can’t take it.

NASCAR is not nearly as big a part of my life as it once was or one of my favorite sports anymore but this podcast was my favorite of all sports podcasts. The mix of personalities works great. I’ll give it a shot with Brett leaving but I don’t have high expectations. Hopefully he wasn’t forced out for some reason.

This gets me through my Tuesday commute and now I hear Brett is leaving? Noooooo

Had to unsubscribe after Brett’s most recent racist melt down on twitter. I’m shocked advertisers pay to support a show with a host that is as openly racist as he is. If he’s not crying about Chicago, he’s spreading false information on supposed immigrants eating pets. I won’t support the show or anyone who advertises on it until they finally make him leave.

Used to love this show, but Brett Griffin is an overt racist, so I’m done with it and Dale Jr for as long as they continue to platform someone who straight up says Black immigrants lives don’t matter.

Used to really enjoy this podcast. However, one of the host’s has been very openly racist and will no longer be listening.

That’s what I think every time I listen to this show. I don’t watch all the NASCAR races but the folks of DBC keep me in tuned of what’s happening in the world of NASCAR as a fan perspective and as a perspective of an industry insider. The best part of the podcast is the crazy and humorous stuff that comes out Brett Griffin’s mouth. This podcast easily gets five out of five stars in my book.

Omg the show is so much better with Carson! Please please keep her! I am so tired of Casey’s childish spats with Brett and her 12 yr old behavior.

I don’t like a single one of your guys drivers but this podcast is awesome. Casey thou has to go. She’s annoying and doesn’t know what she’s talking about. She makes the audio level bounce all over the place. It’s like having a 3 year old in an adult conversation. Other then that great podcast

Man TJ! Couldn’t get through this episode because YJ kept saying “you know”. That’s not how you start a sentence. Especially every sentence. Other than that your other episodes are good.

Microphones high and low from speaker to speaker. You will need to screw with the volume constantly. Not a good podcast to listen to when running. Good content so I still give the show four stars.

Please please please take that stupid music bed out of reaction theatre. It’s distracting and unlistenable. Otherwise I love this podcast.

If they will not give HP for short tracks… What about giving different tire options super soft and fast and the bricks they race on now. Also Maybe for the “show” in speedways that NASCAR wants they can do stage ending in a window between lap A& B then they randomly pick the # 5 laps before. Or wait let’s do nothing and just let Goodyear prove how durable their tires are. Aero = Zero
