Podcasts are good. Needs more hockey though.

DK and staff produce the absolute best reporting on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins. As a born and raised ‘burger now living in Florida, DK keeps me looped on my favorite teams. Highly recommended.

He routinely takes a reader’s questions to tear apart and use as a straw man to further some point he wants to make.

Hands down the best sports coverage of any region anywhere. I’ve never heard another outlet have the approach that you find at DKPS. They are direct, honest, balanced, and avoid hot takes. Definitely subscribe ASAP!!

If you’re a Pittsburgh sports fan, this podcast is a MUST. Fantastic insights into all 3 pro sports teams. DK, Matt, Chris and Greg are the best in the business. Why waste your time with the “experts” in the national media when you can roll with the folks who are at every practice and in the locker room after every game?

I moved put of the Pittsburgh area years ago and now in Michigan . I enjoy listening to DK sports in keeping up with the Steelers….and Pirates, too! In fact, DK is who I have to thank for getting me to follow the pirates again. I disowned them after they traded away McCutchen, I was already sick of their management. But, I followed DK’s podcast for the steelers and then started listening to the Pirates section as well. Long story short, I subscribed to MLB.tv and started watching Pirates games again thanks to DK. But now I cancelled the subscription because I can’t, sorry DK, I just can’t watch this sad display of baseball. The way this team is managed is so sad, so sad, I can’t do it. They have one of the best pitching rotation and DO NOTHING. Sorry for the rant. I will however keep listening to your podcasts because they are the best!

I spent my first 20+ years in Pittsburgh. After I moved the only way I could follow my favorite sports teams from afar was via newspapers such as USA Today (pre internet days) Then about 9 years ago a friend told me about DK Pittsburgh Sports. It is by far the best source for information and opinions about my favorite teams, including college squads. I would recommend this site to anyone who likes the Pittsburgh sports scene.

I listen to these almost daily and highly recommended if you’re a Steelers, Penguins or Pirates fan. They’re fun, almost conversational even though obviously it’s only DK doing the talking. Small enough time chunks to get in 1-3 episodes while on the move.

A fabulous, entertaining and informative companion to the app and website. DK is the best way to follow Pittsburgh sports, hands down.

A go to for Steelers reports. I loved Ramon as player. He may be a better podcaster/reporter! DK is Pittsburgh’s best. If you want an honest opinion of Pittsburgh sports, it’s DK. Enough said there.

It’s my daily listen for Pittsburgh sports news. Good professional reporting. They offer well researched news items and supported opinions. I really appreciate the unbiased, analytical approach to topics. The hosts are engaging with very little drama. My favorites are DK, Matt Williamson, Ramon foster (with DK) and Taylor Haase. Podcasts that are well worth the time invested.

This is the only site I have ever felt compelled to subscribe to ( which you don’t have to here, as content is not behind a pay wall) Not only is the content informative, but there are no “Hot takes” or regurgitation of tropes or tired clink bait topics, just honest opinions and game breakdown. The post game analysis podcasts are worth a visit alone, but all of the reports are top notch. I love this site!

The best Yinzer resource for a multitude of daily reporting & truly great shows but The Ramon Foster Show is the quintessential must-see or must-listen… there’s just nothing like it anywhere in the stratosphere. Just absolutely the best show there is never miss a show

If Dejan is a representation of what the people of Pittsburgh are like I’m not sure I’ll ever travel to the city to watch any of my teams play. Pretentious and ill informed. The man saying he is the smartest guy in the room rarely is.

I start my morning every day waking up at 4-4:30am, take the dog out, listen to the 3 daily shots. Love that you don’t just repeat what everyone else is saying on all the other channels. Daily shots are a must listen

Love DK’s Daily Shots and the Ramon Foster Show - both offer insightful, educated, and well thought-out insight into the Pittsburgh major sports teams that are engaging and entertaining, but not sensational for the sake of getting a rise out of people. Only deducting a star from an otherwise 5-star review because they could use a consistent, full-length Penguins podcast outside of the Daily Shots. It’s sorely missed, especially during this time of year.

I listen to DKs daily shots of Steelers and Penguins every morning I love how honest he is and how he’s not afraid to ask the hard questions 10 out of 10 would recommend

Personable, funny, but also direct and not constantly sugar-coated, DK has a wide range of really wonderful content. Daily shows that are in “getting ready in the AM length” and have a laugh or a good anecdote or a tip on a player or trend to watch. The Ramon Foster show is like being invited to hang with the cool guys when they talk football. Matt Williams does a stats heavy analysis that also makes watching specific players far more interesting. Overall it’s just great content and worthy of a subscription.

Shoutout to the ones who listen to daily shot of Pirates everyday

Like the Daily Shots. They have plenty of Steelers content but they are sorely missing a Hockey/Penguins podcast. Don’t get it when it is one of three major sports they cover and they have hockey writers on staff. So, if you’re looking for a hockey/Pens podcast you will have to look elsewhere.
