Love the parenting, cooking content and Bible teaching. As someone who has lived in the UK for many years and has most of her siblings living there for decades as well as spending most holidays there, I love all the cultural references. But I … is all the “I’m not political” but clearly stand behind a certain party. Leads me to unfortunately skip certain podcasts. It’s so refreshing when people truly stay away from politics. Full stop.

“[Older women should] train younger women to love their husbands and their children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind…” This is Sally for me. I started reading her books and was lead to this podcast. Motherhood is so rewarding, but it definitely has its hard moments. Her words are so encouraging and life-giving that it always reorients my heart and lifts my spirit when I listen. I especially like to listen to her when I’ve had a long, tiring day and I have to wash a sink full of dishes. Sally reminds me of my true calling, and the mission of motherhood— to raise my little ones in a life-giving home and to shape their hearts and minds to love Jesus and serve others.

This podcast always brightens my day and encourages my heart. Thanks, Sally!

I asked God for an older mentor. He sent me Sally, first through this podcast and now also through her books. I feel like I’m sitting with a close friend and gleaning so much wisdom while my soul is being nourished and encouraged. I thank God for this beautiful soul and for her faithfulness in this podcast. She speaks as if you’re sitting right there with her, both sitting in cozy chairs, drinking tea and looking out into some beautiful meadow or other nature scene, enjoying life together and discussing the things that matter most and sharing about the good, true, fun and beautiful things in life. As a mother of twins and one on the way, I’ve been through just about every emotion possible the past three years. I’ve struggled with horrible PPD and found Sally’s podcast through another podcast. This podcast, especially Tea Time Tuesday, has been absolutely life-giving and has changed my entire perspective on motherhood and what it can and should be. I started using Podcasts as a sort of “morning devotional” when I get ready a few years ago and little by little narrowed it down to just a few. Sally’s has become a kiss from heaven when new episodes pop up a few times a week. Always relevant to what’s going on in my life and encouraging - and they just make me smile. I listed to an episode from a few days ago on bitterness and forgiveness and MAN! It was spot on sometime going on in my life right now that just felt wrong. It totally spoke into my life; giving me confirmation and peace. God is surely using Sally to speak into the lives of others and for her willing voice I am forever grateful.

My goodness I don’t even know where to start except to say that Sally Clarkson has become a defining voice in my motherhood and my life. Her guidance and wisdom are steeped in love and a determination to seek out the beauty and joy in any situation. Every time I listen, I feel like I am sitting next to a friend who genuinely cares about the burdens of my heart. So thankful for Sally and her ministry!

I recognize some wonderful tips for current leaders and some words that will no doubt call future leaders. What a noble ministry this is!

I found Sally through a membership on Read Aloud Revival, and since I cannot stop listening to her. I put her on AirPods before falling asleep. I play her loudly while I wash the dishes. I read her books and feel inspired. Sally’s heart for the Lord, her openness, and honesty makes me feel like no matter what, all will be okay. Homeschool, marriage, trusting God through ups downs and uncertainty, she nudges you to keep going, and to be kind to yourself. She is refreshing and wise. I couldn’t recommend anyone who can comfort and encourage more than her. Thank you Sally, for your devotion and love toward people and God.
