Great place to learn the industry!
Illias does an excellent job curating interviews from different disciplines and subject matters in the distilled alcohol industry. Very informative, structured interviews allow the listener to become familiar with the challenges that confront the distilled spirit industry today. Also a great place to network!

    One of the best
Distillery Nation is one of the best distilling podcasts out there. Great insight from distillers around the country. Ilias does an outstanding job. Highly recommend for distillers and anyone interested in the craft distilling industry.

    Very helpful for aspiring distillers
Not all podcasts are created equal, but this is a great one. The interviews give you a good sense of the distillers, what they do, and their approach to distilling. I can only speak as an aspiring distiller, but I’ve found value in listening to this one during my commutes. Keep up the good work Ilias, esp asking good questions about the financial and technical sides of distilling. While there are enough books out there, the little gems of advice are so helpful.

    Amazing content
This podcast has the most diverse content of distillery subject matter. I truly appreciate all of those who take the time to share their passion of the distilling industry. Content like this has encouraged me to take the plunge to start my own distillery in the state of Maryland.

    Want to start a distillery?!?
This is the place to start. Distilling is a very elusive craft and it is hard to get quality info from professionals. Ilias brings in everyone! Teachers, new distillers, seasoned distillers and everyone in between. I suggest starting with the Dan Farber episode first!!! Incredible!!!! Keep up the great work Ilias

    The info you want
The only podcast that provides quality information on the distilling world without the terrible abundance of one sided opinions, distasteful jokes and filler that most others are full of.

I always enjoy the podcast. Great guests and informative ideas. There’s a Facebook group as well that always seems to offer support and helpful tips from people that have been in the business years and some not as long. It’s worth a listen.

    Inspiring and informative
I stumbled onto the podcast late one night while searching for inspiration and direction on what to do next, as someone trying to escape the clutches of the corporate rat race and pursue something creative and entrepreneurial. Starting with episode 32 to give it a try I was quickly hooked and have rewound to episode 0 and am quickly binge listening my way through. I thought I was looking for information, but instead found the podcast is full of raw inspiration (and tons of information) from folks who have done pretty much what i want do to and are happy to share it all. Great all round podcast, thanks for sharing your stories and giving us the courage to give it a try. Maybe one day I’ll be fortunate enough to share my distilling story with you :)

If you are thinking of opening a distillery this is your podcast
So as we are getting close to opening our Distillery in New Mexico I have been searching different podcasts around the subject to continue to add to my knowledge and keep an idea of what is happening in industry currently. I recently found this podcast and have since listened to every episode as the interviews are great. They have covered so many aspects of opening and running a Distillery. I would highly suggest you listen to this if you are thinking about opening a Distillery or even if you just want to learn more about what all goes into a Distillery

    Fantastic view of the industry
I have been listening to 9 episodes at this point and everyone has been brilliant! It has a great structure... if I could ask two questions extra, I would ask in detail, what technique do they think makes their distillate unique or why did they select that specific Still, in detail, electric, steam, copper, stainless, automated? This podcast is fantastic! Thank you... any chance you can make this a weekly podcast?

    Ahead of its time
Distillery Nation is going out and interviewing local and international distillers using podcasting as his medium. His approach has helped me to greater understand the types of people involved in craft distilling and their daily responsibilities. I listen while running, while the baby naps, during my commute, etc. My life is becoming consumed with researching the business, so I'm grateful this podcast exists to keep me learning on the go.

    Love it!
Ilias does a great job with this podcast! It only started in September of 15, but each episode has been getting better and better. The interviews are interesting and well structured, and the folks he interviews are diverse, interesting and provide some really excellent insights. The audience of “people who love craft distilleries and who maybe interested in starting one themselves (or who already have)” is definitely a niche market, but describes me perfectly, so I find it super helpful. Keep up the good work Ilias!
