Fellas, long time listener here. I enjoy the edge your podcast bring to covering the Buckeyes, calling things as you see them compared to other podcast that have direct access to the team and are reluctant to call things as they see them which could potentially damage their access to the team. However it’s getting difficult to listen to you two speaking over one another on the Pod. Please clean that up. You guys have always done that but for some reason now it’s becoming more and more annoying. Still support you but would like a tad more organization when listening. Thanks for the weekly coverage!

Toxic community where you’re not allowed to question anything

Kyle and Jared are great hosts that like to have fun and have a great discord community as well. Great to watch the games with them there and interact daily to talk football and everything else. I recommend joining us all over on the discord for game day.

I’ve been listening for a long time they are extremely down to earth and don’t claim to have any inside access to the team or info but still have an extreme amount of up to date knowledge. Every game preview is on point recruiting reports make me sound like a genius to family and friends and they keep it casual and funny. Might learn a few good bbq tips along the way.. go bucks!!

Longtime listener but I had to give you a 5 star review just off the strength of you calling out the racism in the evaluation of Justin Fields in terms of projecting to the next level. Agree 100%.

Listened to the all-decade team pod. They read the wrong list for all B1G decade team. You would think guys that have a pod on the team would know who actually made the legitimate teams voted by B1G network media, not some guy on 247. Plus their voices are tough to listen to. Never left a review on a pod before but this is bad.

I am new to this pod specifically because of the new home of Buckeye Scoop. The last two episodes I’ve listened to have been extremely tough to follow due to the introduction. Today I listened to the latest pod and it was 12 minutes literally before football was actually the topic. Again, I know this is a new layout and operation and ads need to be used to pay for these types of outlets but the first 4 minutes being nothing but commercials and ads is not something I want to start with. Hopefully it gets better as time goes on this becomes a new normal but the first couple intros are far too much.

You’re supposed to be an Ohio State podcast. Stick to talking about OSU football and I’ll listen. The bowl preview was a joke, you guys don’t even know a thing about any of those teams.

How are you a buckeye podcast and call a the defensive MVP of the rose bowl (the last game we saw) by the wrong name for an entire episode

If they didn’t know what they were talking about I would stop listening. Their humor is awful, and makes me want to stop listening. But, for not being sports writers with access to the team, these guys seem to know enough to keep me listening. But seriously, they aren’t funny, but they think they are funny.

I’m a simple man. I like sports. I like beer. I like music. I like banter. Want all 4? The Sloopcast. Kyle and Jared bring a great viewpoint to Buckeye football (and basketball!) and it’s a must listen for me every week. Everyone hates Mondays. But every Monday I get up and I listen to the SloopCast on my morning drive. They keep the news current and dive in deep about our Buckeyes. I value their opinions and I appreciate their inclusion of fans into their podcast. All in all, my favorite podcast. Listen!

These dudes be alright but better buckeye podcast out there. They argue too much but it’s ok if yous got nothing to listen to. On the strength

Love this podcast. Jared and Kyle are the two Ohio state friends I needed in my life. I gave up going to forums and chat boards because they were consuming all my time. Finding this podcast was the greatest thing to happen to me.

I’d like to start by saying that I’ve never written a bad review on Apple podcasts, but this show is so bad that I was driven to do so. I don’t like being negative, and to be fair Jared and Kyle seem like great guys.... They just shouldn’t be making Ohio State podcasts. The guys consistently mention that they are just “casual fans”, and don’t have insider access to the team or anything. This is perfectly understandable, but for the love of god can you educate yourselves just a little bit before you record a show. You guys mispronounce names EVERY SINGLE PODCAST. “Ka-leeb Wesson”, “Chris Oh-luh-vey” “Greg Sean-oh.” There are countless others you guys continuously botch, and never correct yourselves. Just because you preface naming someone with “we’re terrible at pronouncing names” doesn’t mean you can’t fix that issue. EDUCATE YOURSELVES. Listen to Buckeye Talk, watch recruiting videos, use google. It’s not that hard. Moving past the pronunciation issues, these guys just aren’t very entertaining. I often find myself zoning out of the show because of boredom. When I’m not zoning out, I constantly find myself questioning if these guys have ever watched an Ohio State game. I too am a casual fan, and I feel I know twice the amount of information they do. Lastly, they play local music at the end of every show. I have yet to hear a song halfway decent, and I’m a fan of the music style they choose. I listened to 1.5 podcasts of this stupidity before unsubscribing. If you like Ohio State football and basketball, go listen to Buckeye Talk. They are light years ahead of this show.

Thought I was listening to 7th graders whose sense of entitlement had addled their brains. Too lazy to take the time or effort to 'know their enemy" or provide any meanful analysis. And by the way - Minnesota, for all of your childish disrespect, almost ruined your playoff hopes. Next time they will.

Very average content on this podcast, I feel that I know more about the current and past Ohio State roster then the hosts of the show. Both of the hosts do not have radio or podcasts “voices.” Every time I turn on the podcast on in my car, I debate throwing my phone out the window. But I continue to listen because I love the Buckeyes! Go Bucks!

Rated this less than a five star you weren’t paying attention or are just jealous of these two. They have worked very hard to get this right and deserve your undivided attention!

I like listening to the fun banter between Jared and Kyle. They are informative, interesting and listening to them is like having two good friends over for Buckeye football talk.

I feel like I’m listening to a couple 12 year olds, giggling at each other and their own jokes. Using curse words makes them feel like adults. No thanks
