2 hours I will never get back.
The story of a 10 year old read by an 8 year old containing insinuations fit for neither age.

    Pleasant, quick listen
I enjoyed this story, the reading was fun (the voice of the main character is a *little* trying to listen too, but not so much so that it is unpleasant.) Enjoyed the engaging story.

    Good entertainment value
This podcast is well produced and great to listen to if you're bored. I must warn you, the protagonist is a bit of a Mary Sue, which soured me on it, but its worth a good listen if that's your cup of tea.

    Great for the family
The 'Parental Advisory' label is a little over-reacting. Very safe and VERY enjoyable down to 10 or 11 years. Mom & dad loved it too.

    A very fun Fantasy!
Christiana has written a very imaginative story. This is a coming of age story in which Nina faces a kind of love triangle between a dashing knight and a dragon. She has to decide who she can trust. Come and listen to this magic journey, as Nina and her friend travel to find a wizard.

    GREAT FOR MY FIRST DOWNLOAD
This was good. Had a little bit of a hard time getting into it in the beginning, but after a few chapters I had to listen for what was next. A little slow at times, but I love Nina's character, her spunk, her fight, and her growth - and I love the author's humor. Modern language with a past time setting.

    Worthwhile Listening
Entertaining story, I was hooked after the first chapter. Nina Kimberly's voice was a little whiney and nasally for my taste, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story. I did enjoy all the other characters' voices, Christiana Ellis is really talented. I have to say I was expecting a little more action, but I do favor action in the fantasy genre. I would definitely reccomend this story to a friend, foe or stranger.

    Fantastic!!!
Believe it or not, this is Christiana Ellis's first podiobook. Personally, I can't tell. She is fantastic at distinguishing characters through different voices, and the plot twist kept me guessing. NOT stereotypical at all. Have no doubts, this is something you should listen to.

Not exactly "The Princess Bride", but !#$%^&* close.
It's always difficult to determine if a podiobook is worth downloading based on the first episode (poor production quality and/or poor reading of the story can kill even the best writing), and "Nina Kimberly" was no exception. It isn't a perfect podcast, there is some sense of this-is-my-first-time-doing-this-nerves, but Ms. Ellis' humor proved to be just the hook to keep me throughout, and I await eagerly the sequels she's mentioned are in the works. Give it a chance, give it a listen.

    Different narrator please.
Why does every author assume they are the best person to read their own work? I could not get past the first episode. The voices for the characters, particularly the main, were terrible.

    YEAHOO! IT'S COMING!!! HA HA!!!!
I heard your promo on 7th Son Book 3, and there is only one possible response: Oh My Freakin' God!!!! MORE NINA!!!!! IT'S COMING! If my hunch about your mean little "Well too bad" promo was wrong, I'll still be here for another 60 years... Keep it up!!!

    Great Story! Even greater reader!
Love love love this podiobook! It's one of those rare gems in the podiobook world that has a great story coupled with a fantastic writer that reads the story and is also excellent at doing that. Christiana Ellis does a terrific job bringing her characters to life. Highly recommended!

    Fun book
A light hearted book with a slight twist of comedy. This is a very easy to listen to book with a nicely flowing plot. This audio book also has background music and sound effects that heighten the comedy and action. Well done, well produced

    C'MON! DOWNLOAD THIS
This is an exceptionally well done book. A rare treat to listen to. Fantastically told tale with extremely sharp, funny wit. This is one of the few elite books you honestly wish could thank the author for. I think this puts Ms Ellis up there with Sigler, altho it is a different vein. THANK U MS ELLIS, JOB EXCEEDINGLY WELL DONE.
