Nattyg utExcellent podcast for inquiring mindsI’ve loved each episode. Gemma thoughtful and artfully guides the listener through a relevant and important topic with the help of an expert guest. It is easy to relate to the subject matter when guided by Gemma. I have enjoyed research into some topics deeper and utilizing the recommendations for something to read, watch and listen to. I’ve been able to modify my behavior in some areas and feel like a more engaged and responsible citizen. I’d love an episode on the oil and gas industry, the politics of nato and how that relates to the Ukraine. Thanks for your engaging and important work!

random2023Good Influence ReviewNot knowing why thing happen is hard but I find comfort in this pod cast because it brings light to things that are often not talked about or invalidated. I’m not going to lie, I have listened to the first episode a million times over because it makes me feel understood. I wish I would have found out about this sooner. I don’t have people in my life that I can go to about things like this so I’m really glad that Gemma talks about these things. I’m even more grateful that it’s hosted as a conversation and not just being fed to us as facts or opinion. It’s a natural flowing conversation that sometimes with out knowing can answer my questions or make me feel like I’m in a good place. I’m looking forward to more episodes because this is the only way I’m able to learn about these things. I feel like as teenagers we get lectured more than we get taught. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Gemma for creating this!! You have no idea how grateful I am that you do this! I’m not quite sure how to leave a question for a future episode but I’m also not sure it’d be a good question so I guess I’ll see how the future episodes leave me feeling.

tajohn14Best concept for a podcastThings we should know about but probably don’t? Sign me up! I love that we are accepting / admitting our ignorance and listening / educating ourselves!! Gemma brings on the coolest people - I’ve learned things months ago that I still think about today.
-

Kristen AndrewsJust WonderfulThis podcast dives into a wide range of topics that we all could use some more information on. It does so in a way that feels safe and nonjudgemental. The topics can be heavy, but the atmosphere is light. I love that listeners can get more involved by asking questions and I also love that Gemma has the guests recommend further media outlets to get more information from. Being a 20-year-old, I feel that there is a lot I don’t know quite yet about this world, but this podcast gives me somewhere to start. This podcast is just wonderful!
-
nsqrdAmazing way to start my week!I love tuning in to these on Monday mornings before work. Subjects are always meaningful, thoughtful and timely! This is an incredible gift you’ve given us Gemma! Thank you!

Chamilton327Love the podcast — want to hear more on other mental illnessesHi Gemma! I have been really enjoying your podcast. However, I would really appreciate it if you discussed a wider range of mental health disorders on your podcast, expanding larger than just anxiety and depression. While those are also very important, they see a lot of coverage in the media. Personally I would love to hear mental health professionals discussing things like OCD, pure-O, etc

April NenniReview For Good InfluenceHi, I’m 15 and from Tennessee. This podcast has really helped me understand the global issues around the world. I’m trying to be better about myself, because I’ve always struggled with my weight. Hearing the episode about nutrition and stigma has really helped me. Knowing that it’s okay to be my weight and it’s okay not to worry about the BMI chart, is something I needed to hear. I’m so glad this podcast exists, because I wouldn’t know about all this stuff if it didn’t. Thank you Gemma for having guests talk about these issues. I really appreciate y’all. I highly recommend this podcast.
-
standleyriverReally comfortingI found this podcast a little late in the game so I’ve been trying to catch up. But something about Gemma and her guests is so comforting. The topics are 💯 and I have even learnt a little I didn’t know before. I hope to keep learning and growing through this podcast. Thank you Gemma.

Alleigh MayTHIS IS A HIDDEN GEM!I love this podcast. Gemma is an amazing host & the people she has come on are all amazing. I feel like most podcasts around these topics make you feel bad about yourself. That is not the case with Gemma’s! I feel validated in my feelings & motivated to learn & grow. Thank you Gemma for creating such beautiful content!

Jackie32700A podcast everyone needs to listen to!I love this podcast. Gemma is a great conversationalist and a great host and each guest are very educated and present the facts so the audience can learn and make their own decisions. Cant even decide what my favorite episode, topic or guest is. Charly is so open on her mental health, Jack is so educated and well spoken on climate change, Millie is an inspiration with her sober life style, Nyome is so rightfully confident and it radiates through the audio. This is a must listen, 11/10, recommend to all my friends, family and coworkers type of podcast. Keep it coming!

Folds6Love this show!I’ve never made a podcast review before, but after listening to the therapy episode, I knew I needed to. This show has been so helpful for me to not feel so alone. I’ve been really struggling for the last little while, and sometimes it feels like nobody will understand if I said something about it. The therapy episode and the first episode about mental health showed me that I’m really not alone in my thoughts. Important topics with really knowledgeable experts and a really great host! Thank you, Gemma, for this show.

MahtaabmmRefreshing, easygoing, thoughtful, hopefulThis is the first time I’m listening to podcasts on the mental health topic. I only listened to the first episode so far, and I loved it! It actually made me feel better about myself and my mental health and the problems I have with it which I don’t know if they are illnesses yet. The way the subject is carried on through the entire episode makes me think more deeply and have a greater perspective on how our body and brain work. This was really refreshing and gives so much hope to someone like myself who has dealt with mental health issues for a long time.

Isadora FarisAbsolutely Amazing! This podcast is so intellectual and helpful, absolutely incredible and the so eye opening to the many crucial subjects we should ALL know about and explore. Gemma makes the environment to welcoming and kind, while teaching us alongside the guests about everything important in this world. This podcast makes me excited for my Monday’s and excited to learn again. Also freaking love the tips and recommendations on books, podcasts, movies/documentaries and everything else! A brilliant idea and so well performed. My favorite podcast ever, I just want everyone I know to listen to this and learn from it! Thank you Gemma, for this amazing space to grow!
-
KD 5195 episodes in- I’m hooked!I absolutely love the atmosphere Gemma creates each week and way the conversations flow on the podcast. I find myself listening intently every week and learning so much. Every topic Gemma covers is one that needs more open and honest communication, which she certainly provides. This is a truly special podcast-give it a listen!!

laumatskiStays With YouThis podcast is a great launching point for thinking about how to navigate life with a little more grace for yourself. So far, every guest has been a great example of how it’s never too late to improve or learn new things. The episode on boundaries was particularly helpful for me and gave me some handy tools to help me start to prioritize myself. Can’t recommend it enough!

SugarpiesmomPositive Podcast needed this yearThis is an amazing podcast. It gives you information on topics that you should know about by it doesn’t make you feel stupid. PinterestaddictemilymNew Favorite PodcastEach episode is so interesting! I love all the different topics that are explored. My favorite part of each episode is when the guest shared something for the listener to read, listen and watch to learn more about the topic. Gemma is a great host and I value her opinions just as much as the guest’s!
-
LMHoranThe Podcast I didn’t know I needed! This is the first podcast I’ve listened to and I’m loving it. So far, all topics I could relate to on some level and/or have some take away from. It’s the Podcast I didn’t know I needed, but glad that I found. Can’t wait to see what new topics will be discussed each week. Plus, being from the States (Michigan), I could listen to the accents all day. Thanks for doing this and opening my eyes on many levels. 💛 Lisa Horan
-
alsoknownasnoGreat podcastI especially loved the episode with Max La Manna! This podcast tackles many issues/questions/topics that I regularly think about and have conversations about. The intimate setting that is created between the host, Gemma, and the guest is great. I feel like I’m listening to my friends talk rather than to a bunch of strangers. I also can’t stop raving about the episode with Charly Cox.

hcT&BLooking to better yourselfStatus post-break-up out of a long term relationship; I was having anxiety about where to start with the idea of “me/myself” and was looking for something, anything, to help get me started on a positive path of loving myself, finding self worth, and respecting those around me. I listened to the available episodes and clung to every word. Each speaker was educated and detailed enough to present the information in a way i can retain and critically think about on my own, and most importantly about topics that can only enhance awareness about the world that you live in and can apply to many things in daily life. The episodes/this podcast gave me some confidence and a focal point to start rebuilding and working on aspects of my life that I knew felt wrong or I was sad about but didn’t know where to begin.
-
fionaagrahami love itthis podcast has educated me on so many things i had no idea about, and im so grateful for learning about topics that are normally just glossed over
-
Paola:)).Love this podcast some great things I’ve learned, living in the states and being a child of parents who never used to waste just out of surviving day to day, being in the US the idea of bigger is better really seems to be a reoccurring detail in marketing and produce so yeah it made me realize even more how big of a problem it is and truly enjoy all of your EPs that you’ve released recommended your podcast to all of my friends and they LOVE IT ❤️
-
Carolyn10920favorite podcastAll of the topics on this podcast are so interesting, I listen every week that a new episode comes out and I truly pay attention to all the tips, advice, quotes, and all info Gemma and her guest discuss and it provokes thoughts and new ways of thinking and going about things in my head. Great podcast, the whole theme of it is an awesome idea.
-
SarawestkGreatGemma is very good interviewer. I listened to the Michelle Elman episode and I find a lot of what she said very projecting and not good advice. There is a lot of people who are selfless because they’re not because they insecure and want approval. Many people grow with a strong sense of the importance of community and giving. Listening to her i feel she’s not that and doesn’t understand why people are .
-
mehnamebehhannahso good!like wow, this podcast really brings light onto topics that should be talked about more and things that should be normalized.
-
whoreforharryAmazing !!This is exactly what I needed especially during this time. Not only is this very comforting knowing that I am not alone with the things that are being talked about on here but I am also being educated! 💗💗 thank you Gemma !!
-
alicen11Eye OpeningAfter only two episodes, I feel like this podcast has led me to really reflect on my own beliefs and habits toward myself and my mental health. I already feel that it’s inspired me to work towards prioritizing my well-being, it’s like an additional form of therapy! Love it!
