Anzel360Some of the worst takes on the internet. If you are a progressive voter, you will love it. They spoon feed you the cope you need to be blissfully ignorant about tech market workings. Everyone else, time is better spent elsewhere. The only reason I stay subscribed is to find out what low quality copium is being peddled.

globalnoleProbably the most authoritative and smart podcasts in the tech space. This is a smart listen that has become a regular part of my morning routine. The host and his guests are some of the most authoritative and informed people on a variety of issues impacting the future of tech in society, like AI (though this might be covered a little too much tbh) and the role policy plays in shaping what’s to come. I’ve enjoyed listening and learning from the podcast and am better prepared to understand the interplay between tech and policy.

Allancl96/26/2033The election analyst you had on Today did you no favors . He belongs on Fox News. He does not recognize data that is contrary to what he wants to say and minimizes that which appears to contradict it . It is the old trick of not having an opposing voice on while you are presenting . On Politico he does not . He is smooth and not bombastic but not truthful. He lies by omission and subtle distortion . My guess he is paid for and beholding to republican . If he is not he should be. You do not look like unbiased journalists with guys like this , especially when you do not present a counter point .

janef.Laughing womenI just came here to listen to their opinions about the recession. All I came away with is 2 women laughing about the economy. They have no clue about this in any fundamental way. How could ppl pay $ for this?

cyndeharrisEpisode 582…Really?I just listened to a (far too long) episode #582, wherein Eugene Daniels plays his violin for the Vice President. “Poor Kamala can’t get out of DC because those mean Republicans just won’t vote as Democrats.” How mean! By doing so, they’re denying her ability to start running for President (again). His reticence to admit that Harris might have higher aspirations is worth a giggle given that she’s already run (terribly). Doesn’t a producer listen to these before they’re aired? It’s unseemly and embarrassing for Daniels to spend an entire episode trying to get Americans to feel pity for Harris rather than the loathing she’s so justly earned thus far.

Shadwell von BernsteinBen Leonard vocal fry, dear god make it STOP!I can’t listen to his tricking voice. Give him some mouth wash, have him see an ENT or tell him to lay off the affectation.

cguudxjdcDangerous reportingYour reporting on Afghan women combat fighters just directly outed and endangered 3 women. One extremely specifically by going so far as telling where she now works. Though the story is indeed important and interesting, the way it was reported on was dangerous and negligent.

LoganfoolBackground clackI simply can’t stand it. Why is it necessary?

gwr71Mayoral race- BostonGreat episode on the historic mayoral race taking place in Boston both in primaries, and in November. It’s own moment of Lift.
-
robert cottonSlanted episode 386.This last episode was such a slanted view I would expect from Fox News not politico.

Ober DoberGreat news, but....Great news source. But why must I listen to that sharp, high-pitched, ear piercing noise in the background? It is NOT music. It is annoying and distracting and takes away from the point - presenting good news. I can tolerate the “drip, droop, drip” noise as it causes no pain. Although I do not understand why it is there either. If one wants to listen to music, choose a different source. I tune in for NEWS, not music entertainment (or torture, as is the case here). I truly enjoy this news source, but if you cannot remove that painful sound I will no longer be able to listen. Thank you.

Meghannnnnn_12344560the BEST political podcastout of allll the podcasts about politics / government / the world, POLITICO dispatch is the best one I listen to. & as a political science student, these things can get really repetitive really fast so it’s rare to find a podcast that I’m literally sitting on the edge of my seat for. It’s easily digestible, fun, very entertaining & has great hosts / speakers! Also great that it’s only 10-15 mins so you can listen to it on a short drive / in the shower, etc :)

Derivatives TraderReally enjoyed the Saudi Arabia / MBS episodeThis is a really good podcast. They take a theme or topic that’s in the news lately (Biden & MBS, Nikki Haley’s conundrum) and go through a smart look at the various issues surrounding the topic.

bdfyiQuick and dirty daily listenIn 15 min, Politico Dispatch crams factual, balanced, in-depth reporting into a daily briefing on one or two important stories of the day. I never miss it.

Tellme More 72Help me understandWhen I listen to ALL the political podcasts I can get my ears on I hear the upshot from either perspective but never both. I would be very grateful to hear deep informed reporting that focuses on what the “opposition” believes, why they believe that and why that is ill informed. I understand that this takes a long time to cover so comprehensively. I am just finding myself more and more frustrated that the “news” ends up sounding like “Trust me. This is something really bad.” And less like I am trusted to understand when given real information. Are you afraid if you explain why others think the way they do I will start to think like them instead of like you? I appreciate the information you give. I think you are intelligent, capable people. Please return the favor and give me MORE information to understand my neighbors. Thank you.

BGazardFound the MagicEarly on, I wrote a critical review because of a weird direction taken by going through state birds. In the past few weeks, the podcast has improved significantly and has become essential listening. Great improvement and found the magic that makes the podcast go.

202DZFirst placeAs a former speech team coach and judge, I am extremely particular about diction, pacing, and phrasing. Jeremy gets my “first” on all fronts.
-
livlog2020Easy and quick way to stay informed! This is quickly becoming my new favorite podcast. Don’t let the brevity fool you - these episodes are packed with relevant information and new perspectives, and fills a gap in the ‘dc politics’ podcast market. Hearing reporters’ reactions to breaking news in real time brings an authenticity to each episode, and humanizes the often harsh depiction of what it’s like to be a journalist in this country. Do yourself a favor and take 6-7 minutes out of your day to try this one out😊
-
ClaudiaReillyGreat behind the scene viewI love this podcast! Great behind the scenes view of what is going in politics. It is so interesting hearing from the Politico reporters on what is like following the candidates. Jeremy Siegel is super fun and informative. This will definitely be my “go to” podcast for politics.
-
Tiggerish22Fresh and Fun (yet informative!) PoliticsLove the premise of pulling back the curtain. Love the pace and the different voices — especially Jeremy. He makes our current political maelstrom way more fun to try to unravel.
-
JollyellenA great podcast for political junkiesI look forward to hearing these ”dispatches” from the political scene. Great energy!
-
JahahhajAmazing! This podcast is just what I needed for my quick fix of politics! And with Jeremy Siegel’s smooth voice behind the mic, what more could you ask for?
-
ClaudiaCincinnatiGreat IntroI look forward to hearing all tge behind the scenes talk. This is the sort of thing I love — feeling as if I’m there hearing the reporters talk in a real way about what they’re creating.
