Jsgen182“I’m not really seeing the purpose.”Systemic racism takes systematic change. Systemic change takes generations. Using your platform to belittle the players for trying to make a statement and trying to impact change is so disrespectful. There isn’t a playbook for how to get the police to stop killing Black people and to get the country to start acting like Black Lives actually matter. To say that the Bucks choosing not to play and the league openly supporting Black Lives Matter has had no impact and that you don’t see the purpose came of as ignorant and uninformed. Please share these thoughts with the NBA players and coat he’s you cover and see how they feel about you minimizing their efforts. You should reach out to Bill Russel to have a counter argument. He can tell you about the game he walked out on and how proud he is of the players for what they did yesterday. I’m just so disappointed in all three of you.

SCAL Survived NBCBOSTON cutsGood...butDoes Ryan have a bet that he can say “Scal” more times in the pod than Shannon Sharpe says “Skip” ???

penguins cant flyMissing CerutiI had to stop listening without Ceruti driving the show. He really seemed to be the soul of the show, and made Scal tolerable. Bring him back?

jdigitydoggHands down best NBA PodcastScal and McDonough are perfect together. Podcast is funny and informative. I look forward to it daily. The show also has some really great guests. I’ve been listening to Scal since starting lineup which isn’t the same without you Scal. McDonough is also hilarious. Just overall a awesome podcast. Keep up great work guys.

J HermRiding the pineI think dropping the real host of the show has decreased the likability of the show. I do not care as much any more. Part of this podcast was pulling the abnormal/interesting stories from and livening up the personalities of these guests. Case and point, Scal opening up about sweatshirts and no laundry never happens without Ceruti. Getting Perk going every time he was on the show. Ceruti pulled more out of the guests cause he also was not always right but had an opinion and did not care to be right. He drove the show. I had to unsubscribe after a few listens with the restart cause it has lost its soul. Good luck and hopefully it gets better!

slim somebodyGreat insight with amazing guestsThe Scal and McDonough cover player announcer and front office which gives an insider look from every angle. Plus their hilarious. The guests feel comfortable and speak their minds. Love Every episode so far!

awenigNo Ceruti, No ListenCeruti was great to listen to and it’s unfortunate they replaced him. This is not a knock on McDonough who is a professional and I respect him but Ceruti was fun to disagree with. Rarely did I agree with him but he did a great job articulating his position. Without Ceruti, I’m not listening.

B CreechCerutti!!!!!!!!!!Sorry but no Cerutti then I’m out

Boot_MouthBest NBA Podcast Out ThereMy favorite NBA podcast that tells it like it is with humor and best of all, opinions from some great Insiders. I love the points of views from the ex players and the ex GM that get balanced with the everyday fan point of view from Ceruti. My only request would be for Ceruti to please slow down his talking. I don’t know if he feels unconfident in his place on the pod but he’s talking faster than his brain can process and is constantly stuttering all over the place. Plus listening to the show on a higher speed makes him come off talking faster than my ears can process.

Janderson45Terrible, Boring -Scal is hardly there and hardly talks, when he does he’s either completely checked out and boring or over the top and obnoxious. Who even cares about Brian Scalabrine to begin with?
-
DMC649Top Shelf PodcastScal is quickly becoming one of the great communicators of the league. Well spoken, funny, and clearly loves the game as much as we do. ☘️☘️☘️

commonriversSo goodThis is legit my favorite show going right now. Scal you rule man, keep it up. Explain it to these people. Ceruti has impressed me too, good sh+t man. Perk has been wildly entertaining. The Bucher talks are great too, McDonough as well. The volume is coming out lower than everything else in my library, so the sooner that can be addressed, the better.

Carry223333Ceruti can’t save thisAlways been a Ceruti fan but Scal is over the top with everything and beyond annoying.
-
cmoura23Awesome showScal and pals is a dope podcast. I like ceruti and scals chemistry and always enjoy every time scal calls out ceruti! Quick note would be to increase your volume because for some reason this is one of my quieter podcasts. Keep it up

JeremyMGoCelticsMy Wife Saw Me Freak Out When I Found Out About This PodcastFavorite podcast already! I used to listen to Scal’s old show everyday on XM than they got rid of the NBA channel from listeners who only had the app and not the car radio as well. This was a HUGE bummer since I had listened to NBA radio everyday for a few years. Of course being from MA and being a Celtics, always love hearing from Scal on NBC Sports Boston. I was so excited when I found out about this podcast because I couldn’t listen to my old favorite radio show anymore and hadn’t found anything to replace it yet that I really liked. Now I have! Thanks for the great NBA insight, news, takes and laughs guys. I’ll be listening! - Jeremy from Worcester MA area

WeindarInsightful and entertainingThis show is both enlightening and fun listening. A must listen for any NBA fan. Being a massive fan of the game myself I partake of many NBA shows/podcasts and this one has become a daily must listen for me. Highly recommended!

antagonist36Ceruti is the man!I enjoy the pod and Ceruti’s perspectives. Why does Scal sound like he is doing the pod from the bathroom?

-
IrishFan23Love the PodcastScal is the best! Love his takes abs he gives real world answers to tough situations. Also, breaks down the real NBA without worrying about popular opinion or what the players might think!
-
McStugHere for The CerutiExcited to hear his “Hot takes” now that he has dropped that dead weight, Russillo and no Will Cain to constantly talk over him.
-
cody handshawAlso here for CerutiLooking forward to hearing Steve take the next step into on air talent
-
Marcus Georges-HoopsBig getWe all know the cap is going up. Still love the Ceruti acquisition. Hope it was a player friendly contract. Looking forward to listening this year.
-
gdtbtarheelHoops TalkI love the idea of Ceruti hosting and mediating a hoops podcast, but I think the other two are trash honestly. Scalabrine gives terrible, over the top takes seemingly just to be contrarian for attention. Frank Isola abused him regularly on their radio show to the point where I could feel the frustration from Franks part through the radio for Scal not being able to keep up. And Ryan McDonough is the best “former executive” you could do? He was widely considered a joke and embarrassment as the Suns GM. Get Ceruti better help! In the meantime listen to Dunc’d On podcast, Open Floor, the Starters, Bill Simmons...all have much more intellectual and entertaining analysis and opinions.

riscondo jonesPoor CerutiIt’s crazy to think Ceruti left ESPN for this. I wanted to like it so bad, as I’m a big fan of him and Russillo but god was this awful. I couldn’t even make it through the whole episode.

Create Nickname thingEntercom does it again!Once again, I’m blown away by the great minds at Entercom who truly is the leading the industry into the digital age. RADIO.COM S-P-O-R-T-S is back with another gem with Big. Time. Basketball. This isn’t just another radio show where two guys talk about what’s going on in the NBA. No no no. This podcast discusses trades(!), standings(!), and predictions(!) about the NBA!!!!!!!!!!!!! In 2019, the great minds at Entercom launched a podcast like this that is totally unique and different than anything else in the market. Being such a leader in the digital space, one would think Entercom might want to have seen the emergence of podcasts in 2012... but no! It’s 2019 and it’s time to launch a basketball podcast! Fresh! Unique! Different! Safe! Boring! Don’t worry though. The boys won’t talk about anything other than the Xs and Os. That would make too much sense. This podcast is going to work and get millions and zillions of downloads. I just know it!

MMckennzieBig Time BSChrist, who is listening to this?
