    Sad
Sadly the juvenile happiness expressed in the narrators voices belies the non scholarly superficial review of the texts. Of course over how feminine the texts are. A worthless pursuit as the gospels are not data for feminism.

So glad this podcast is back!
I thought it might have ended in 2022 but am thrilled there are new episodes coming out. The scholarship and expertise is outstanding. I don’t understand some words or concepts but still enjoy learning about the NT from those interested in exploring it as fully and objectively as possible, instead of those who cherry-pick passages to push their judgmental opinions.

    Fantastic
I enjoy listening to NT Pod, as it not only keeps me connected to my undergrad education at Duke, but it also continues to feed my appetite for learning. All that said, I am holding out hope for an ABBA-themed episode in the near future!

    Very informative and helpful
This is a wonderful podcast, presenting genuine historical research and helpful discussions for those seeking to understand the Bible better. Many such podcasts tend towards dogmatic statements so this is a refreshing alternative. Many thanks for producing these!

    Great podcast
The podcast is well produced. Prof. Goodacre’s voice is great. He explains every topic well, and he manages to do so without being condescending or snarky about his subject. I really love this podcast and I’ve learned a lot from it.

    Listen to these!!
Mark Goodacre is a top tier biblical scholar. He is so great at presented multiple views on a subject -- as well as providing reasons for his own position. He is incredible at teaching, and I have learned so much from his work. I highly recommend this podcast series to everyone interested in learning about a historical approach to the NT.

    Informative and Entertaining
Concur with all previous 5 star comments so no need to "go on about it" - as Brit Goodacre might say. DE Glaze Vallejo, CA

    Best Podcast in Biblical Studies
I continually enjoy listening to Dr. Goodacre's podcasts. They are a quick and easy way to find out a current consensus in the scholarly community and what Dr. Goodacre thinks about the topic. This podcast is one that I am continually checking back to see if a new episode is out yet. The NT Pod is also very friendly to scholar and layperson alike--his views are not "shocking" (as so many scholars try to be these days) but rather a simple presentation of the problem, a scholarly consensus, and his view on the matter. Hands down, the best podcast in biblical studies.

    Best. Podcast. Ever.
This is the easily best podcast on Jesus and the New Testament. Mark Goodacre is easy on the ears, concise, and gives a reasoned & well-researched presentation each time. I will often use his podcasts in my classes as a way to introduce a topic, and find that he is well-received among the students of Bethany University. Mark is a cutting-edge biblical scholar, and will always leave you with something to ponder. Whenever I recommend sources for further study, NT Pod is at the top of my list.
