wildbill95The most addicting podcast I follow!Bob and Andrew have, on every occasion, asked the questions which shed light on the important aspects of our government and our current administration, and Bob's insight into the issues of the day and how they relate to our recent history make these podcasts the first one I listen to each and every time a new one is posted! Thanks, guys for a great effort, and hope you keep going for a long time to come.

deltarebelThis is how it should be doneWithout a doubt, this is the most informative, civilized and enlightening journalism podcast available. Bob and Andrew allow their guests to talk without interruption and guide the discussion with intelligent questions. I’m hoping that this will be more than a “year long” effort, as it restores my faith in journalistic integrity and rational conversation. Good job, please keep it up.

grewupinthe80sFantastic!Bob, fantastic podcast! Thank you so much for doing this. It's such a wild time and you are a voice of reason; putting things into proper perspective, alongside your terrific guests. A first-rate production, too! Please have Dan Rather on sometime. And maybe the Pod Save America guys. Cheers!

EarcoachStick to the newsVery interesting and insightful pieces by Schwartz and Schieffer, my all time favorite tv journalist and commentator. Especially liked Maureen Dowd and Soledad O'Brien. Much as I love Bob his recorded song wears a bit long after a while. Maybe lifting out a few bars to use as an opening or closing theme would continue to do homage to his musical talent while dialing down the tedium generated by repeating it start to finish near the beginning of every program.

-

Sammy281818Great Podcast for the Evening Drive HomeI've grown pretty wary of the news channels I listen to during my commute. Bob Shieffer's insight about the news is definitely more interesting than your standard shows. It's really helpful to help me understand the media. Shieffer's coverage of Trump is particularly insightful.

seweitzmanBest podcast around!About the News is my new favorite podcast. The hosts are great, the guests are wonderful, and the discourse about the important issues facing modern media and reporting is simply incredible. In particular, the Marty Baron interview opened my eyes to how journalism has changed over the past thirty years. I highly recommend that you give this a listen.
