MariaF7604Always a nugget of wisdomNo matter the topic, whether it’s relevant to my life or not, there is always some nugget of wisdom I get out of these podcasts. Also they’re hilarious and relatable. And the guests are always great!!! Definitely worth a listen

n129So many feelingsI enjoy listening to this podcast. I hope this doesn't sound like I'm super critical of Amiira because I think she's fine. But my main review of this is that I can't stop listening because of the irony that I want to shout at my computer, "Greg! She's just not that into you!" How many times has she "joked" about taking a 6 month marriage "sabattical"? Many. She truly seems like she doesn't get him, she doesn't understand him, she thinks he's too much, has too many feelings and he thinks she's right. It actually breaks my heart listening to her having empathy for him only through some of the guests and their shared experiences with Greg. Finally Greg is funny and she will often stop his train of thoughts (which she calls tangents) mid-stream to redirect him. This all sounds harsh written out like this but hey it's my review! And I do continue to listen because I do enjoy Greg and also it's kind of like watching to a trainwreck even though it makes me sad for him.

ChgoCaliChickGreat content but....Please stop talking over each other and your guests! It makes the pod difficult to listen to even when the content is very interesting.

HeatherAn80These podcasters have changed my life!I discovered It’s Called a Breakup Because it’s Broken searching for fun audiobooks at the Beverly Hills Public Library in 2005, thinking I had it all together with my romantic relationship and hoping I’d never have to read a book like that. Flash forward a few weeks later when my bf asked me to take “a break.” Wow. I realized that relationship was broken and decided to listen to the audiobook. It totally changed my life. I changed my life after taking all of the suggestions that these two brilliant and hilarious people offered me and the world at large. I had so many dating issues it was insane, I was always falling for people that were “just not that into me” and making excuse after excuse. Now 13 years later I’m happily married to an available man and ecstatic to discover that these two phenomenal people, Amiira and Greg, are still helping others with their frank, hilarious, vulnerable and intelligent advice. I can relate to their musings about relationships and marriage and I am grateful that they are so transparent and humble, making their struggles seem so normalized. One last bit of praise— I’m a psychotherapist now and I find myself quoting their book/Greg’s books frequently to my clients and encouraging them to read them. I think the breakup book utilized a lot of CBT therapy, as well as 12 step principals and humor, the combination of which is so incredibly helpful to me and others! In any case, I love these guys and I wish them nothing but continued success in their relationships and in their careers!

Can't find oneKeeping it real...It's refreshing to hear two lovely people who are open, honest and real. I look forward to the new episode every week. Greg and Amiira are not afraid to take off the rosy-colored glasses and discuss some of the challegnes that many couples face but are too afraid to talk about. Love the couple and the podcast!

February FrostMy boyfriend wanted me to listenI started listening because my boyfriend wanted me to and I am glad that I have. There are a lot of eye opening moments that I like and since I love him and view him as my future husband I like to think I need to mentally prepare myself for the long haul. I’m definitely more Greg and he is definitely more Amiira and we laugh about that. Anyway, thanks you two for doing this! I would just like more of Paul and Moon because Paul’s prospective on marriage was very rational and eye opening. Love your guts!

sharappaTWOLOVE !!!!Honestly Two of the Best People on EARTH talking about Relating to other people.

P. SaganFunny and wildly originalI'm a longtime fan of Greg Behrendt, and meeting Amiira multiplies my delight. They're lovable, knowledgable, hilarious and sometimes scathingly honest about their marriage and each other. Reading about relationships is great, but eavesdropping on a couple with communication skills this amazing is delightful!

Tattoochick 13They Are So Fun To Listen ToI’ve been a fan of Greg’s stand-up for years, and have always loved listening to him talk about his relationship. When I heard they were doing a podcast together, I had to listen. They offer some great advice and they make you laugh.
-
eflindHonest and funnyI have listened to Greg on a bunch of different podcasts over the years and this one is quickly becoming a favorite. Greg and Amiira's the honesty and frankness with which they talk about their relationship is really refreshing. Even if you aren't married or otherwise in a romantic relationship, the podcast is deeply relevant to the way we treat our friends, our family, and ourselves.

Hazel MDYikesIf you want to sit through a married couples last few therapy sessions before they call it quits.... this is the podcast for you. 😅 They are so nasty to each other in the most low key bitter ways. They are the type of couple that make people around them never want to get married. 😐
-
Shakey Aitch The Boneyard ConceirgeDon’t listen at one-and-a-half speed...I didn’t realize that I had accidentally tapped the button to increase the speed. It took my about fifteen minutes of being blown back in my seat like the Memorex guy to put it together. As an O.G. Cuddlah from the Walking The Room days, I’m happy to see Greg finding traction doing podcasts that reflect his interests with hosts who inspire him. I knew this show had the potential to get really real (and there are a couple pregnant pauses that made me wince in sympathy) but that’s what you would hope for. You’re listening to a snapshot of a marriage at about eighteen years in from two people known for their blunt honesty. It’s raw and real and funny and heartfelt. Highly recommended.
-
MerlangeI can't believe it's free! Finally! At last! It took you two long enough! Greg and Amiira have their own podcast. I'm not married, nor am I a parent but I'm learning so much from these conversations. I'm glad that they are so open with each other and letting us all hear them talk through life issues without the bs.
-
Paula M NLike being a fly on the wallMost of us are married. Most of us don't talk about it or anything for that matter. Amiira and Greg do.
-
LadyTeesdaleFunny because it's true!Surprisingly open, honest and funny. Not that I'd expect anything less from the authors of It's Called A Breakup Because It's Broken and He's Just Not That Into You.
-
the real Lisa DMaybe it's amazing! If you're married, you will love this smart, funny podcast! These two are so real and funny. Not to mention adorable. Great relationship advice for anyone in any kind of a relationship. I hope they write another book. Please!
-
ComaasterLOVE Moon ZappaI loved listening to Moon Zappa on this podcast.
-
Desperately Seeking Sage TruthI love their books! And I'm ready to love this! This makes so much sense to me. Of COURSE the couple that doles out the hard hitting advice we all need to hear should have a podcast. When are you going to have Oprah on the show?!?!
