Put Trump on Mount Rushmore if he defies the courts, really? I must have missed your episodes urging Biden to ignore John Roberts and forgive everyone’s student loans. I also don’t recall where in the Bible it says to deport people to El Salvador with no due process, even after admitting in court that at least one of the deportations was a mistake.

For a firm foundation in living out a Christian life in this crazy broken world of politics, culture, and interpersonal relationships this is an informative and insightful show. Solid insight into politics

This show sees that many of the issues we have in America today are due to the church abrogating its responsibilities to the State, and it seeks to restore it to its rightful place in society. It’s a show hosted by men, for men. It seeks to enlighten those who are oblivious to the signs of the times. It seeks to inspire those who understand something needs to be done, but may not know what to do or how to do it. It seeks to encourage those who may feel like they’re the only ones in their social group who are passionate about seeing our country return to her founding principles. You are not alone.

This might be the second or third edit of my review for this podcast in the last 3-5 years give or take, and in that time frame my opinion of it has slowly gone down, sadly. Don’t get me wrong, Steve and his cohorts Aaron and Todd are respectable and wise Christian men. But as the years have gone by, I find myself wanting a news talk show that gives me the truth without any sugar coating (which they do deliver, to be sure), but also isn’t afraid to laugh it off and not take itself too seriously. Yes, faith is most important for the Christian. But I think being human is just as important. I don’t mean celebrating sin, but I mean enjoying what makes us human. I don’t want to listen to a political talk show that produces a Bible study (that alone is absurd) based on a faith based film it produced (we already have way too many of those), based on a faith based book it produced that is apparently similar in nature to the Screwtape Letters (again, we have way too many of these today, and frankly I’ve never heard anything remotely as prophetic on this podcast as anything C.S. Lewis ever said or wrote). There are other issues, but suffice it to say that, though Steve and his cohorts are clearly humble men and firm in their convictions, they still, maybe unknowingly and unintentionally, take themselves too seriously. My personal theory is that it is due to their theology. I’m Catholic, but Todd’s version of Catholicism seems to me to be either nearly defeated or almost nonexistent, and of course Steve and Aaron are what I would consider to be above average evangelicals, but isn’t really saying much considering what evangelism has become, which even Steve would agree is looking bleak. Overall, it’s not a bad podcast, and you could certainly take from it some beneficial and profitable insights. But for the life of me I don’t know how anyone can stand to listen to each episode all the way through on a consistent basis. They’re not the kind of person I can take seriously.

I listen everyday to Steve Deace, Todd Erzen, and Aaron McIntire. I came as a political geek, but found my faith strengthened and my ability to apply a Biblical worldview to everyday news and events strongly reinforced.

Perfect combination of faith, politics, age pop culture

No other podcast I have heard adresses the issues of the day from a Christian world as well as The Steve Deace Show: well-reasoned, entertaining, great guests, broad topics, serious biblical discusion all in one show. If there is limited time this is the podcast I never miss.

Steve and the crew have been bringing the goods for years. They’ve fought the battles and done the homework.

I enjoy listening to Steve, Todd and Aaron on a daily basis. Their biblical worldview has helped bring me closer to God.

It’s worth your time to spend time listening to this podcast. Whether you’re a long time follower of Jesus or just inquisitive this will challenge you.

Particularly in the case of our modern American churches. But also individually as a Christian. Sure… I could do with less of the “inside baseball“ about some of the pop, culture, comic stuff and sports, but it does prevent a nice diversion from some of the really heinous things that have to be discussed. If you want an original take with a biblical world view this is your podcast. You won’t get the five stories that every “news outlet” is trying to spin you with, you’ll get observations that cut through the daily narrative. As a Catholic I also appreciate Todd Erzen’s commentary.

I caught you first when you did a Christmas show for Glenn Beck. Now I listen to you folks instead of him. At times this show will make you uneasy because the hosts aren’t afraid to say the quiet part out loud. This show will push you to engage the culture in a way that does not violate the prime directive of the Word of God. Be sure to not miss Aaron’s “Rundown of What Happened While We Were Away” as it’s always informative and impactful. Come for the funny banter but stay for regular challenge to step up and fulfill your duty as a Christian.

I’ve been listening to the Steve deace show for almost 4 years now and I cannot get enough of it I live for his theology Thursday segments and everything else is just as good. My only thing I ask of you is to give this show a chance for 1 week. Listen to every show for a week and if it’s not for you still then it won’t be. But I guarantee you be hooked

Steve promotes Christian World view in politics and culture in a unique way. Definitely not buttoned-down or sweater vested. Can be irreverent in an anti-pharisaical way, but always true to scripture. The banter with his co-hosts often makes me laugh out loud. My #1 podcast of the day!

An original thinker with a show that cares about production quality.

I’ve listened regularly since first reading about Deace in his New York Times magazine spread. That will give you an idea of my politics. He’s not for everyone. But he’s principled, consistent, and the single best source of “right wing” information I have. Nothing like the blowhards and cranks on Fox. The Christian worldview angle is unique and has given a great insight into the evangelical movement. We have more in common than not. I’m not a drone, I’m an American, and still proud of that fact. Highly recommended.

If you are looking how to live as a sheep in the midst of wolves and be wise as a serpent and innocent as a dove as Jesus advised in Matthew 10:16, then this show is a great start.

This is one of my favorite shows. I’m a political junkie, with a yearning to learn more about the Christ, this hits the mark on both. Steve, Todd, and Aaron’s chemistry on the show is an excellent. Enjoy the truth!

This podcast gives you the straight up biblical worldview response that Christian’s are to have in an evil day such as ours. Down with the nicer than God pandering to and avoiding of sin that happens in many of our seeker sensitive churches from weak pulpits and in with the right view/response the church must have in confronting the evils of our day! This podcast is a must for believers who want the truth.
