This show idea is very cool! The trailer is already enticing, and I’m excited for the rest of the episodes to drop.

Always enjoy these interesting conversations, which are filled with big idea questions as well as relatable stories. The guest list is diverse, and I particularly like hearing authors I know and love.

I love all of Kelly Corrigan books, and I love to listen to her podcast. She brings humor and insight to all her conversations. I always learn something new from all of the podcast.

Kelly, I am a big fan of your writing, and was so excited to learn of your podcast. I've now listened to all episodes posted, and hope you are making more. Atwood, Lamott and Christoff were my favorites. Two suggestions: (1) Be a better listener. You are so funny and clever, and it's a joy to hear you. But as the host, please ask your questions and then LISTEN and let your guests talk. You sometimes TALK OVER your guests, and even dissolve into riffs that may be amusing and impressive to you both, but can detract from the very reason you probably invited them onto your show (Nathanson, for example). (2) The opening (multiple voices chiming "EXACTLY!" and the game-show music) is corny and sounds like a 1970s TV Talk Show, or a junior high school project. It doesn't match the quality and class of your interviews. Please consider something more elegant. I look forward to new interviews and have highly recommended your podcast to many. Thank you for making this podcast!

Kelly's ability to dig deep with sensitivity and humor never ceases to amaze me. Her dialogue with these artists is both entertaining and stimulating, keeping me coming back for more. Kudos to Kelly, Medium and KQED! I look forward to staying in touch with EXACTLY.

I paused today to enjoy John Cleese (jealous and yes, I do have a little crush on him and John Lithgow, whom is referenced and I agree completely with the statements that they are each other's split-aparts)! I could listen to Kelly talk all day (always love her refreshing candor) and I find this series and premise reminiscent of the television program The Actors Studio with James Lipton. Her end questions are indicative of TAS and Mr. Lipton's closing questions. It is a brilliant addition to talk radio and refreshing to enjoy some one who not only asks the questions but asks the questions we want answers to with a little humor thrown in on the side! It is exactly what KQED needs.....it is exactly Kelly!

I really enjoy this podcast. The interviews take on big questions, encouraging listeners to step back look at the bigger picture. This is especially refreshing in a world where we are increasingly focusing on the tiniest of details. It is unfortunately very rare just now to find media that seeks to identify what we all have in common, rather than focusing on our differences. Exactly does just that, without whitewashing the more challenging parts of what it is to be human. After listening I found myself thinking about my own perspectives more thoughtfully, and feeling more connected to others.

Great, thought provoking stuff. Listening to this feels like hanging out with great friends! Looking forward to hearing more.

I'll be honest: I would read Kelly's grocery list if I had access to it. So the ability to listen to her speak to people she believes in while I'm staring at a ceiling wondering what it would be like to accomplish something in a day is pretty spectacular. I'd like to thank Kelly for adding this medium to her host of accomplishments. It's fantastic. And so is she. Trust me. I know.

Kelly is an engaging host who shares the right mix of humor and deep questions with her guests. My favorite interviews were with authors Roach, Lamott, and Atwood due to their unique insights, but all were wonderful. My only suggestion would be to work on improved sound--there were distracting sirens on many episodes in the background. Looking forward to more...

Finally a fun, engaging, human, smart, intuitive, contemporary, no pretense host of smart and relevant content. My whole family loves listening to Kelly - it's like having an engaging conversation around the fireplace with a dear friend.

How does Kelly make these amazing people feel so much like old friends? I listen because it's funny, but I love it because it makes me think about things I know I should be thinking about.

I've always loved Kelly and how fantastic a storyteller she is. This whole series is a great look behind some of the simplest concepts. That episode with Matt Nathanson on optimism is giving me so much life.

I wish Kelly would shut up and let the interviewer talk. She keeps interrupting with dumb comments and saying "mmhm" which is very distracting. Can't listen.

Kelly does a fantastic job engaging with her guests. She keeps the conversation light while asking some tough questions that make you reflect on your own life. Her style is refreshing and she delivers a heart felt message.

Kelly rewards creativity, not only be championing it in her guests, but by inspiring it in the listener, no small feat, then giving it just the right kick of optimism. And I'm not just saying this because I want to be on her show, which I do. "Exactly" is exactly what I needed.

Her ability to take 26 letters and manipulate them into some of the most beautiful sentences I've ever read is like no other author I know. But now I get to listen to her! I have been a big fan of Kelly Corrigan since The Middle Place. This series is a perfect outlet for her and her guests' wit, wisdom, insights and humor. These are conversations not interviews which make them far more interesting for the listener. Corrigan herself really listens to her diverse guests and the conversations flow easily. Looking forward to the series continuing!

The podcast is a perfect platform for Kelly Corrigan. Relatable, on-point conversations with compelling guests. The wit, humor, and honesty one "hears" in Kelly's writing is now available in bite-size podcast portions.

I am very lucky that I happened to flip the radio on when an episode of Exactly! came on. I really "shouldn't" like this show, and had no intention of tuning in. I usually go for information-dense science and policy programs, which this is not. I don't know almost any of the guests, and didn't know Kelly Corrigan until her program came on the radio. And I don't generally enjoy shows that are so little scripted, or so open-ended in intent. Instead, I was spellbound! And it's been that way with almost every episode I've listened to since. The show has so much that you would want: it's insightful, it's witty, it's moving; the chemistry between Kelly and her guests is almost always popping; it brings up so much about just being human in the world in an honest and disarming way. You'll laugh, you'll feel tugs at your heartstrings, you'll smile knowingly and want to shout out "Yes: Exactly!"

Fascinating conversations-relaxed, funny, down to earth and thought provoking. Heard one on KQED and went right out and downloaded the rest. I appreciate hearing both the people I know of and those new to me. A real pleasure.

Listened to the optimism episode on the morning of the presidential inauguration and it was just the dose of joy, hope and inspiration I've needed. Yes, yes, yes! Impressively executed, bright, totally relatable interviews.
