Please people do not follow these man made sacraments and doctrines. Follow the Bible. Scripture is all that matters and is all you will ever need. You do not need works or sacraments for salvation. You do not need to pray to saints or Mary. Faith in Christ is all you need. He paid it in FULL no amount of works or man made tradition is necessary or could ever earn salvation in the first place. Good works will come with a changed heart after following Christ, but it is not a requirement. I love all my Catholic brothers and sisters in Christ, and pray you find the truth in scripture. Not church doctrine and tradition.

As a lifelong Catholic, but one who has grown much more deeply in the faith and understanding of the faith over the last forty years, I tune into Catholic Answers to deepen my theological understanding and propel me along my journey as a Christian man. The answers help me guide others toward God and the truths upheld by the Catholic faith, in a humble and charitable manner.

Jimmy's work and Tim's are invaluable contributions in an online Catholic world of noisy bloviating and divisive rhetoric. Really appreciate them both in their humility and breadth of knowledge. However, the pompous Lofton has proven himself unworthy of ever appearing on this show. Personal request: Jimmy, we all love you, but please return to your highly articulate speech. Dropping the g's off your word endings is grating.

Not a fan of weird questions or flannel panel and yes would love to hear a different intro music… Knowledgeable guests but would like their answers to take less time … please be concise and allow other callers to ask questions. I left the Church after I was confirmed. This show brought me right on back. I had so many burning questions about Christianity, and Catholic Answers was the only show that provided the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Thank you for reigniting my Faith.

Not a fan of Michael Lofton. He attacks good Catholics.

The last 3 days of episodes are not on Apple Podcasts, Youtube or even the Catholic Answers app. This is extremely frustrating. I have a hard time understanding why the content is unavailable for people who choose to listen the next day.

I’ve learned so much about our faith! So clear and easy-to-understand information. To learn how to defend the trust, you should listen to Catholic Answers. I love this podcast, and I'm glad I found them!

Ever since Patrick Coffin left I’ve had to grit my teeth when listening to this host. He is constantly bailed out by the likes of Tim, Jimmy or Trent. Anyone who claims to be a Catholic and supports the liberal idea of abortion should not be on this show , let alone hosting.

Excellent show, insightful and informative. As someone from Wichita KS I can tell you the reason for our success is first and foremost the number of churches with perpetual adoration and second our commitment to Stewardship, which creates the community that so many people crave and give as a reason for leaving the Church.

There’s a very hard analytical edge beneath Jimmy’s meek bearing but the edge is never seen. Mysterious world is a great example of the lengths to which he will go to consider even the most outlying theory with the utmost respect, patiently dismantling and cataloging the evidence piece by piece. Other hosts may be equally bright on IQ but not equally meek. I tried to listen to two recent interviews but tension with guests is frankly unbearable. CA needs more hosts who don’t seem like hyper aggressive dominant geniuses, but who come across as having above average intelligence with a kind heart. Or geniuses with a kind heart will do also.

After Jerry usher and pat coffin, In our charity I think cy is a step down. He means well but he’s just a little too goofy. And it’s a distraction. Also all the commercials. I think a better apologetic show is EWTN “Called to Communion”. It’s just one hour of straight apologetic answers with no commercials and now goofiness. Still that being said, I do appreciate Catholic answers and all that it’s done. I am glad that we have it

This podcast is amazing. The guests are always so well prepared and open to any question that callers may have. Cy is great host.

I want to love these guys, but I tuned in to another “Defending the Faith” session, hoping for guidance, and instead got another segment of the sales pitch of the day. Enough already. You’re making it impossible to tune in.

Long time listener who has noticed that right wing politics are now more important than Catholicism on this show. These apologists unfortunately sold out to a political agenda.

I have listened to Catholic Answers for years now. It’s often though a challenge stay tuned in and undistracted. The current host is very chatty, overly humorous and tends to interrupt the guest speakers with his own comments. It would be most helpful if he toned down his verbosity and stayed out of the way of the speaker and caller.

I like that the speakers are respectful to callers asking questions and do a great job of explaining the Catholic Church’s position on various topics. I’ve learned so much about what the Catholic Church teaches from this show.

My favorite episodes are when Cy Kellett and Trent Horn are on together; their repartee is quite entertaining!

I am studying at my dioceses catechetical institute. I just finished year one of a two year certificate for adult faith formation. This podcast aided my learning , I believe that the success that I achieved at school was influenced in a positive way by being an everyday listener. Thanks for your apostolate.

This show is just so informative and the apologist they bring on the show are just really smart people and they know everything there is to know about the Catholic faith and can answer any objection one may have about the Catholic faith.

I have found no better source outside the Church (but absolutely with the Church) to learn and understand the faith better than at Catholic Answers and all their resources (Forums, CA live, catholic.com) etc. Thank you to everyone at CA and all those who help support CA!!!
