Jeremy the Not Robotfrickin good podcastand might i say, i thought seagal’s SNL episode (s16 e18) was unironically great. too many times the guests break character. steven only knows how to break bones!
-
WaltShitmanIt is goodThis podcast is good (to me)
-
AustinYoozcheckIt's a box of chocolates in a good wayYou never know what you're gonna get, but that's kinda the appeal. Give Kole some gloves D:
-
CroppedToppedSensible HostsPeople covering video games tendency to be hyperbolic, and yell about things that are largely inconsequential. This is a show wherein two adults with media literacy discuss what they liked or disliked about a game while relating it to other pieces of media. There are also jokes
-
JudeDaDude01Epsiside 495In the first two minutes of that episode they had a kitchen ambience and I heard a Wilhelm scream and dishes clattering to the ground and for some reason I laughed so hard
-
billymarouxI love listening to these guys talk…about just about anything. Video games are as good as any jumping off point. I came from Fireballs and was tickled to find more STUFF. They’re putting good things out in the world. ❤️
-
Chibi_Lou_RawlsFun podcast to listen toThis is a very fun podcast to listen to!
-
RocketnerdEpisode 135That cameo felt as long as March 2020
-
Tyche KilbridePut on these gloves. Sorry they're wet.Gary and Kole sometimes discuss games of varying quality and spin off into amusing tangents unless the game is secretly good. Mostly, the games are bad and the banter is great.
-
DannyBoy7783Come for the games, stay for the absurdityWacky and often off the rails but you will probably come away entertained. Truthfully, I care more about the off-topic content than the games themselves. Abject Suffering might be my favorite Duckfeed show.
-
DopetydopedopeSometimesThis podcast used to be one of the best, but nowadays it’s just them briefly mentioning the title of a game before going into the mundanity of their lives or virtue signaling. A shame 😫
-
Blueberry FatheadSelloutsThey had an ad for Raid Garbage Game... I have lost all respect for you Gary and Cole. This network has ceased to be quality content. Don’t waste your time on this podcast.
-
Knights_AlchemyAlways WonderfulAfter listening for years I have realized that I somehow never put in a review for this show. In short, it is great. I can’t say it is for everyone, but I can say confidently that it works for me. Gary and Kole pul off being unprofessional in a professional way in this show. Just listen and have fun, okay?
-
NiceToMeeksYouA Joy From Start to Finish.Having just gone back and listened to every episode in order, I can honestly say that Abject Suffering is one of the best podcasts, not just on Duckfeed, but in all of podcasts. Many a bad day were saved by Gary and Kole making me laugh till I cried. Give it a listen!
-
ATCHUALLYHilariousStart with the KGB episode from Jan/Feb-ish of 2020, it had me in near tears. Otherwise, this show is very funny, worth subscribing to and using it as a great distraction from that long commute.
-
sora_slash_ficat least we've got video games!i always forget that climate change is happening, happy this show reminds me three times a month
-
The beast from the mid eastBest podcast in the world!!These two fellas have the most hilarious banter! 10% of the show is game info, 90% of the show is hilarious conversation about miscellaneous subjects, 100% of the show is awesome.
-
zoh-g-millerMy Favorite Duckfeed show by a large marginthoughtful game critique? get outta here! level by level commentary? not for me! but the boys gary and kole spending four and a half seconds on any given bad game i've never heard on and then spiraling out into personal anecdotes and laudable political opinions? yum yum, gimme some! recent and topical: i'm already a patron, but i would up my pledge for a sidecast that is solely trashing noted dil-dumbo scott adams! keep the good times rollin, boys! <3

omalyyaConcerning GriddlerYou need the Griddler but does the Griddler truly need you? Think about it.
-
SkinlesschrisAbject FunningCouple of goofy dorks playing awful games and plumbing the depths of McDonalds lore. Highly recommend.
-
billyneptuneI love this showGary and Kole have wonderful friend chemistry and two incredibly positive people. I cannot recommend this show highly enough.

Got me back into gamesConsistently laughing out loud on the busThis podcast makes me look like a fool as I stand, lips twisted, shaking on the bus in peals of (sometimes) silent laughter. Just great.
-
Pzul BMorbid fascination at its bestI can’t get through a week without an episode of Abject Suffering! This show is a free-form riot, and I never get past an episode without breaking into tears laughing least once. This is no snobbish takedown of notoriously bad games- it’s more like the joy of binging on the worst fast food in town in order to live to tell the tale. The entire log of episodes is a really exhaustive but ever-expanding list of the hundreds of the bad or weird games you heard about as a kid or adult, but would not take the time or money to play. Luckily, this is all part of Gary and Kole‘s job.
-
ArikinSkywalkerIt’s like comfort food for your ears.Abject Suffering undoubtedly feels more loose and zoomed out than Watch out for Fireballs or Bonfireside Chat. It’s a definite change of pace, but with a good balance of structured discussion and hilarious banter. If you like the other shows on the network, Gary and Kole don’t disappoint. Who is Zoo Dog???
-
chickenriggiesGood Times with Bad GamesFirst and foremost, this is a comedy show. If you see a 39 minute episode, it’s not gonna be 39 minutes on, for example, the game adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Why? Because games like that don’t deserve 39 minutes of anyone’s time, even if they’re getting dunked on mercilessly. But never fear! G&K will fill those minutes with some very entertaining banter and bits. Give it a listen; there’s a ton of good stuff here. Even better: support them on Patreon! You might even get to select a game for them to cover! I did, and it was well worth it!
-
glantongangLong time fanPosting to nullify garbage people reviews. Love my boys
-
MrReciprocityThe games are awful; the show is greatUsing a (usually but not always) terrible game as a starting point, the boys spiral out into comedy bits, cultural discussions, hilarious (and sometimes poignant) personal anecdotes, and tons and tons of GameFAQS Gold. Two good guys. One good show.

happy in the citySorghum farming tips <3Gary and Kole are extremely good boys, and you should give love to all of their podcasts--as well as money to their Patreons (and various side projects as well). I'm a loyal Duckfeed listener of many years, and this is the show I look forward to the most. Come for the increasingly bizarre opening "randomization" bits, enjoy a mix of dreadful games chat and discussion of life and the bodily fluids that fill it, and stay (in the end) for two lovely and loveable buddies goofing together. Thanks for many, many happy hours guys.
-
Ben Sapatka*Tim Allen Noise*Genuinely hilarious. Not only are Gary and Kole funny as all hell, they seem like they'd be a lot of fun to hang out with.

loco 4 linkin parkIf it was longer it would be 6 stars. As others have said, it’s the same stellar production value of all duckfeed shows, with the two best hosts from the channel. Funny, relatable, and who doesn’t love to hate bad games? My only complaint is length! It feels as though sometimes there is to much focus on the shorter length and before you know it they are forcing a wrap up when I just want the party to keep going. With the amount of podcasting they do I’m sure time management is one of the factors, but it often feels like Gary and Kole feel its bite size is an asset and I have to disagree.
-
lndoril-NerevarCat-pitalismis ok, but if only cat-kind were less susceptible to the corruption of greed, com-meow-nism would be the best way.
-
Themax8991The best digression podcastWhich sometimes brings up video games. Those parts are also fine. Love you, Gary and Kole!
-
Bear ArmbrusterExcellent chemistry between the costars!Sometimes they talk about the bad (or not-so-bad) game, sometimes they wax philosophical. Sometimes they talk about everything BUT the game. But it’s great entertainment from two guys who share a history of great podcasts. Check the rest of them out, starting with Watch Out For Fireballs. Come for the game review, stay for the candor.

Edmund McMEasy to listen, difficult to master_ ___ /_\ / __| / _ \ \__ \ /_/ \_\ |___/ Hello! Welcome to my review! First of all I dedicate this review to breakfast (the most important meal of the day!) and to Fierce Grape Gatorade which I am always drinking. In fact, I’m drinking a small cup of Fierce Grape Gatorade (hereafter I’ll refer to it as FGG for short (I hate when people waste my time (not naming names (but they know who they are) or anything...) so I won’t waste yours) to save space) as I pen this review! First of all you’re probably wondering... why should I listen to this person? Why should I trust their review? Have they even listened to the show? Are they trustwo whoops I blacked out! No problem, I’ll get right back to it...... rthy? Should I listen to and trust their opinion? The answer is yes. I have a strong history of review and have 100% completed many episodes of this delightful podcast. Let’s get on to the review now! First of all the length of these episodes is great, there is definitely time to listen to each episode. Pro Tip: Maybe you’re wondering what those buttons that say “15” do? Try them out! I won’t spoil it but one of them makes listening to an episode from start to finish MUCH faster. Well it looks like I already killed my cup of FGG! I can’t be expected to pen this review running on empty! Suffice to say (if you’ll allow me to summarize here) whatever I was talking about is fine.

DozMosFavorite show on the networkI’ve always been fascinated with terrible media and this show scratches that itch. It’s funny, so very off topic, and sprinkled with astute observations. Best show on the network, keep up the good work.

LotrmartinDuckfeed lets their hair downEver wish Kole and Gary would take a break from their normal hard hitting criticism and just shoot the breeze for a while? This is that. Sure they talk about the game if it is worth talking about, but this is more about just hearing them joke around and good off. Great supplementary podcast for WOFF, and occasionally they cover something like “The Senpai” which is just icing on the cake.
-
1-800-BrendieLike a strange, comforting blanketThe amusing and insightful guys behind Watch out for Fireballs have unleased their incredible powers of digression to bring you reviews based on the title of some awful videogames. To be more accurate, typically the game is just an inspiration to discuss life, bodily functions, politics, and other, better media. I've listened to the vast majority of the episodes at this point and I can only call the experience "comforting". Absurd as it sounds, this is a pleasant, low impact, low buy in, amusing podcast. Just finished a terrifying novel and not ready to move on to the stressful thriller audiobook? Chill out with 2 or 23 episodes talking about videogames that I'm sure people worked very hard on, and then felt bad about.

Robert Justin BoydThanks for the Reminder! The glory hole conversation in Episode 176 reminded me that I had been meaning to watch a Muppet Christmas Carol. Thanks Guys! Also their content is great and you should support them on Patreon. <3
-
MitchforkWhenever Abject Suffering isn't on your feed, you should be asking, "where's Abject Suffering?"
-
Zack DeaneSo we don't have toGreat fun, good conversations. Thanks, G+K!
-
DoubleDexter64Amazing ShowI genuinely look forward to this podcast every week. It is always hilarious and interesting without fail. Kole and Gary are great host and have such good chemistry I could probably sit and listen to them talk about anything which is more or less what this podcast actually is.
-
RojacaDeep cuts...One of the best casts on the network.
-
dpoole88Step right up, step right up!They play bad games, old games, unique games, weird games, DOS games, licensed games, and occasionally some actual good games. So you don't have to. All of which are wrapped up in wackily humorous digressions - sometimes featuring their "Gamefaqs Gold" segment, sometimes (OK, often) about nothing to do with the topic game at all but enjoyable, and thoughtful, nonetheless.
-
justcallmeevoHilariousKole and Gary are always hilarious, but they really cut loose in this show, making for a great time!
-
ChreasMozzerNo suffering requiredJust a couple of nice boys bringing the bad boy chat about some bad video games and some other real wild stuff.
-
HorahLoux_VerifiedGreat Podcast About Life and Bad GamesI was skeptical of this podcast at first, but I warmed up to it after listening to one episode. Gary and Kole do a fantastic job of talking about these utterly repulsive games. The humor is on point, and the tangents are really interesting. Definitely worth a listen!

Buttlord69A Good Show That Breaks My Listening RulesI have a few rules for the podcasts I listen to. First is that I should never have to think about what a host's face looks like during orgasm. Second is that I don't want to hear any improv unless that is the basis of the show. Last, I don't like when the host(s) spend too much time talking about their own show and spend excessive time handwringing about how they will be perceived. This show violates all of those rules, but I'm still a regular listener. Abject Suffering survives on its digressions. They get very weird, frequently gross, and strangely specific, but that is what makes the podcast interesting. Hearing odd and honest conversations that spiral off of bad games is entertaining. My favorite podcasts (at least in some part) capture what it's like to be a person. This podcast does that.
-
T3h ShawnYou'll learn AND laugh about some pretty bad gamesKole and Gary do a fantastic job and put WAY more effort than i ever would for playing bad games. The way the show is structured is similar to WOFF where they talk about the mechanics of the game, give you a small history about it etc...THEN.....they do a deep dive as to what makes this game awful or (sometimes) tolerably good! I started listening to Watch Out For Fireballs a few months back and then transitioned to this also. I have an appreciation for the opening skits, the humor and their personal stories which usually cut in about half way through. This is leagues ahead of the other podcasts and you should give it a listen and support them.
-
The CgillisBest show on the networkI've been listening to duckfeed shows for a while, but just started listening to abject suffering and it's easily my favorite now. I signed up for patreon just for the extra episodes of this. 5/7 perfect

lookedubyaHidden Gem.The concept behind AS is so hilarious that I'm not even sure Kole or Gary know what a gem they've created. The basic conceit is that two guys play a bad video game requested by listeners. But Gary and Kole rarely play more than 20 minutes of the game, so episodes usually devolve into them using the games as springboards to discuss their own neuroses. It's like if every Seinfeld episode started with a half-assed Let's Play. Abject Suffering is one of the last remaining unspoiled surprises of the internet.
