jjlr52Consistently funny and insightfulGreat way to hear a wide variety of new (to me) comedians - great balance of earnest thinking and fun!

HPFan543Amazing contentDeborah is a goddess. And such a trouper for consistently having to defend the musical Hamilton against not only racist comments from white men, but also comments from “feminists” who don’t think that Angelica Schuyler has any agency… thank you Deborah for consistently being the voice of reason in the room.

AN - NYLaugh *and* think!Deborah Frances-White and her rotating cast of regular and special guests - comedians, musicials, and experts on many different issues around the world - always get me laughing, and thinking, both about issues I thought I knew about and sometimes about issues I hadn’t thought of before. This is one of my must-listen podcasts each week, especially when I need something to make me laugh. I’d love to see a live show. DFW, please come to New York City!

NefeshOmanitGrace Petrie’s New Texas SongI already love Grace Petrie’s songs, which are always an energizing mix of righteous rage and hope, but her new song “Meanwhile in Texas” made me stop in my tracks and re-listen to it twice. It’s BEAUTIFUL, and as an American woman, I felt like it really spoke to my soul. Anyway, I’m a huge fan of the show, Deborah is my hero, and I’m so glad to have this audio refuge where I can go to get my weekly dose of intersectional feminism and action ideas. Thank you for all that you do!

NebulaeTardigradeAn essential podcast for allEntertaining and incredibly important toward gaining equality. I do wish they’d stop taking advertisements from companies that perpetuate the patriarchy and female stereotypes, like cosmetics. But the podcast is top notch and every girl should listen to this podcast so the social conditioning isn’t quite as deep.

TwirlGirl85My New ObsessionThis podcast is at once hilarious, heartwarming, thought-provoking, and inspiring. It is the highlight of my week—every week. Flame. Deborah, thank you for your valuable insight on such a complex topic. Thank you for not only challenging me to grow but also for providing me with the tools and confidence to do so!

Lili53160Middle aged womenJust listened to the most recent episode about women of a certain age not being represented in media. I think it’s because once we reach middle age men, and society, don’t see us as women. We’ve lost of ability to have children, have sag in parts of our bodies, have bodies scarred by birth.

EllerinaShould be required listeningI’ve been listening to the Guilty Feminist since the beginning. It has opened my eyes in so many ways and emboldened me to really embrace the word Feminist. Thank you Deborah and all the amazing cohosts and guests for sharing your wisdom, your humor, your struggles, and your heart. Keep fighting.

MidwestAnnaClosed mindedI like this podcast, and I especially love the intro “I am a feminist but…” (so relatable), but it seems to have plateaued. I would love to hear more opinions. It seems like a requirement for guests is to hold the exact same political views as the host. This show simplifies complex issues, and I’d love to hear how women who are feminists from different backgrounds hold different and nuanced opinions. Sounds more fun and informative!

Eightfold_GirlAwesome!Great for all of us out there trying our best but wanting to do better. I’ve learned a lot and laughed my head off while doing it

Rodonna JeanPeteI love you, love your show, especially the ones with Kemal Bob love her! But I have to say Pete Davidson is just one of those guys that may not be considered main stream attractive but there’s just something about him that drives some women wild! I’m a huge SNL fan and have been crushing on him since before Ariana! I could go on about his physical appearance but if you don’t see it I can’t convince you. What I’d like to point out are the other things that make him attractive. He’s funny (obvi), feminist, seems kind, & his politics are on point! The main thing for me though is he’s open about his struggle with mental health. As someone who has similar issues it’s incredibly attractive to see a man talk about it! You don’t see that much from men especially where I’m from (Oklahoma, sad I know! I will escape one day!) I’m just wondering why everyone thinks beautiful women shouldn’t be attracted to men like him? I think we’ve all had enough of the opposite! I think it especially makes since for Kim just getting out of a marriage to a man who obviously had mental health issues but sometimes denied it and went on and off his meds at his whim!

EOC0815AmazingI work in a male dominated environment and this really helps me get through my day. I am all the way over in California, I think you are amazing and you are the women I strive to emulate. Love you guys!

Go Vegan Save BunniesTerrible disservice to womenEveryone involved in this show should be embarrassed. Women deserve much better than this.

ZizzabetOver using the word doesn’t make it true to the topic. What is this? There is nothing that speaks to feminists or feminism in this podcasts. Maybe the comedy is there-? Tho I don’t pick it up. Overusing the word doesn’t make it true to the topic. Just schtick - nada mas. Where is the analysis and discussion of the cultural position of feminism in today’s everyday life? Just a few women showing off, exploiting a word to promote themselves without paying respect the the significance and importance of the subject.?

courtney7249YikesNot about true feminism

Delia FolkLove the guests & topics!!Thanks for creating such an awesome show :)

lilecothingsThank youI love a live show and miss them a lot due to the pandemic. This podcast is a live show that is also a podcast. I want to be a better feminist and love learning about all these different topics from these funny ladies. I highly recommend this to everyone.

erodrickGood for the SoulI went to the live recording in Chicago a year ago. At that point, I had only been listening to the podcast for a couple of months, but I impulsively bought tickets for me and my friends because I knew we would have a good time. And I was right. It was one of the best live events I’ve ever gone to. I didn’t know then that there would be a pandemic and that it would be one of the last things I would experience before the world completely changed. So that live show holds a special place in my heart and my memory, and I just love being able to listen to that episode now and being able to relive those moments. It is great. Good for the soul.

R. A. GarciaEssential. This podcast has gotten me through some of the roughest and best times - workplace discrimination, bad relationships, fabulous breakups from bad relationships, rebuilding myself and starting to feel strong and whole. There for you when it’s tough, and there for you when your strong. What a wonderful sisterhood (and beyond) to be part of!

Andi in SacramentoEvery single episodeEvery single episode challenges me, delights me, makes me laugh, makes me cry, requires me to check my privilege, encourages me, and reminds me that being a guilty feminist is an incredible calling. Please, do humanity a favor and subscribe to this podcast.

Claire Pedulla#boobsEVERYONE - listen to this podcast. Sophie & Deborah THANK YOU. I discovered your podcast in the midst of this COVID19 madness (I live in Jersey City and work(ed) in Manhattan). In a season where I (along with the rest of the world) am constantly absorbing and experiencing tragedy and suffering o a global scale, your podcast has been a perfect and magical escape. The Guilty Feminist is the reason that I creepily chortle down the street each morning when I walk my dog (this behavior has also severed as a tactic to to repel other humans - helpful reinforcement of social distancing rules). Thank you both for your smart, authentic, widely entertaining podcast. It’s been a source of some much needed giggles in a time where giggles are one of the few thing keeping me sane. APPRECIATE YOU.

AhmedbrightFantastic podcastHilarious

kellythefeministTHANK YOUI barely have words I am so in love with and emboldened by this podcast, and quite frankly refreshed! Thanks to everyone involved in its production!! And I appreciate the intersectionality AND that Rachel Bloom is on here (episode 55)!!!

Fia AnnOMG YESThis podcast is quite literally changing my life. I laugh out loud at least 3 times an episode and I learn something new about being a 21st century feminist every time. So so glad I was introduced to this podcast.

hephzibahbaileyAlabama- feminist wonderlandWell here in Birmingham, Alabama isn’t a Guilty Feminist wonderland yet but I so enjoy this podcast and sharing it with my friends! We love you! Can’t wait to see you come to “the south”. Stellar podcast!!!
-
heartbreaking and realIs this satire?I always love the guests, but the host is such a cartoon of a feminist I genuinely think I’ve missed the joke.
-

rghugddeLove!Love this podcast, just started from episode 1, can’t wait to listen to this and only this until I finish it all!
-
mvudodovskyGenerally greatI really like this show and it represents feminism well. However, episode 65 made me upset because there was much discussion about the Bible and Judaism was not represented. There was much interpretation of the Old Testament and focus on things that Jews (whose book it is) do not focus on, and there was no one to talk about this. I get that we are only 1% of the world population, but it’s our book that Christianity uses.
-
aphm104Love itMy new favorite podcast. I’ve been binging the early episodes and can’t believe I haven’t listened to this before. Hilarious and I love the topics they cover, they really resonate.

Vegan FeministThe Guilty FeministThis is one of my new favorite podcasts. I’m ashamed to admit that I found it by accident, while searching for podcasts that featured Hannah Hadsby. I’m so glad that I found this podcast though because it’s both informative and entertaining. It’s no small feat to make someone laugh while talking about the patriarchy, yet somehow the Guilty Feminist manages to do just that!
